"Their Orders Come from Renegade Principalities and Powers Who Get their Orders from The Dark Lord Himself." Reflections in a Petri Dish

 Dog Poet Transmitting.......

It has been some years now since we have been talking about the spread of Insanity across the country and around The World... due to the increase of Materialism. Surely it has been more than a decade and possibly two decades. I know I have been seeing it for longer than that.

It first came to my attention in the 60s. Anyone who was present for them can agree with me that they were pretty crazy times. Certainly... a big part of it was the drugs. Drugs open areas of The Mind that were previously inactive. It was a time of spiritual awakening, AND... it was a time of sexual awakening... because we have a material body, AND... several immaterial bodies.

A lot of what happened had to do with the stage of collective human evolution that was present at the time it happened. A great many people were deeply asleep and did not wake up the whole time. Many of them have not awakened since; have even bred children who haven't awakened either.... and who have also had children who have not awakened.

The Dream Manipulators have been around for a long time. Until technology made a wider material reach possible, they worked through telepathic invasion and social conditioning that was built around laws created by the lawmakers to keep everyone in their own grazing areas. The metaphorical wolves in sheep's clothing have been around for ages. They are part of the dramas that make life interesting.

When The Sexual Revolution arrived they were Johnny-on-The-Spot. The Spiritual Awakening was also a revolution in thought. On the one hand, you had sensory exploration. On the other hand, you had extra-sensory exploration. The force of Materialism accelerated the sexual dynamic and it hasn't stopped to take a breath since.

The sexual experience is a limited engagement. The satiation period is brief and it eventually leads to the desire to go deeper... to go further... to go off the beaten path. Two drugs played a big part in the escalation of serial sexual activity. They were Cocaine and Ecstasy. Cocaine amplified the diabolical aspect of sexual encounters. It makes whatever you get up to okay. It makes evil and depraved behaviors magnetically attractive. There was a fake spirituality about Cocaine initially... until the depravity angle hit full-bore.

Cocaine and Disco dovetailed and opened the saloon doors that swing both ways. The Gay Thing took off, especially in the cities where Nature had alread...

US efforts to ban TikTok are pure projection by the world's biggest spy power Signs of the Times

Washington is used to controlling the planet's top tech companies and doesn't want anyone to threaten its surveillance domination. As the United States contemplates a possible ban on TikTok, it relentlessly accuses Beijing of using the popular Chinese-owned social media application as a means of espionage, claiming that the Communist Party has access to user data. Ironically, Washington itself is known to be doing exactly what US politicians are accusing China of doing. Using the unique advantage of having jurisdiction over the world's top internet companies, the US has given itself the right to look into the private communications of foreign citizens anywhere in the world. Combine that data-sharing between intelligence agencies of the US and its allies, and you get the most comprehensive espionage regime in the world. While American politicians and media constantly talk about fears of Chinese espionage, the near-absence of coverage of Washington's own spying efforts ought to be a...

Seven tourists dead and many feared trapped by huge avalanche in India Signs of the Times

At least seven tourists have died and many are feared trapped after a major avalanche struck near a mountain pass in the northeast Indian state of Sikkim. The incident occurred at 11.30am (0600 GMT) on Tuesday near the Nathu La mountain pass, a popular destination for tourists on India's border with China. The avalanche struck a road that connects Gangtok to the Nathu La pass and the nearby Changu lake - another major tourist attraction. The Indian army has said five to six vehicles carrying up to 30 tourists were stuck under the snow after the avalanche. "By 3PM, 14 persons were rescued and taken to nearby Army medical facility. However, seven persons succumbed. The other seven persons were administered first aid and returned to Gangtok," the army statement, cited by several Indian media outlets, said.

April blizzard dumps 26 inches of snow in Casper, Wyoming - breaking 40-year snowfall record Signs of the Times

Snowfall in what has become a historic blizzard in central Wyoming has begun in Gillette, and it likely won't end until tonight. The National Weather Service in Rapid City, South Dakota, is forecasting a 100% chance of heavy snow throughout the day today, enough so to issue a Winter Storm Warning for Gillette. Patchy blowing snow will be troublesome for travelers, particularly this afternoon. Today's forecast high is 24 degrees but with a northeast wind 16 to 20 mph and gusts reaching 31 mph, wind chills will dip as low as 7 degrees. Total daytime accumulation of 3 to 7 inches is possible. Gillette city officials issued a Level I Snow Emergency on Monday ahead of the storm. Elsewhere in the state, Casper saw the fall of a 40-year snowfall record in this storm with more than 26 inches of snow Monday. The previous record of just more than 24 inches was set in 1982, according to the National Weather Service in Riverton.

Bill Gates dismisses mounting calls to pause AI Chatbot development Signs of the Times

Reuters reports that Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates dismissed calls to halt the development of more advanced AI chatbots more powerful than OpenAI's GPT-4. Last week, an open letter signed by Elon Musk, Steve Wozniak, and AI pioneer Yoshua Bengio called for a six-month pause in developing new AI tools. Gates stated that the proposed pause in AI chatbot development would not "solve the challenges." According to Gates, the focus should be on effectively integrating AI technology into society. He finds it hard to understand how a pause could work globally with so many firms working on the technology. "I don't think asking one particular group to pause solves the challenges," the billionaire said on Monday. "Clearly, there are huge benefits to these things... what we need to do is identify the tricky areas," he noted.

Hawaii roads closed due to heavy snow from April snowstorm Signs of the Times

Snowplows are busy on Hawaii's Big Island, removing snow that continues to fall on Mauna Kea, the tallest summit on the island and in the state. An April snowstorm has brought several inches of snow to the higher terrain of Hawaii, prompting officials to close roads until they're free of snow and ice. In an update released this morning, the Mauna Kea Rangers wrote, "The access road to the summit of Maunakea is CLOSED to the public at the Visitor Information Station at an elevation of 9,200 feet due to snowy conditions, below-freezing temperatures, high humidity, and wet roadways that will likely develop into icy conditions."

While we're obsessing about the economy and the Fed, society is unraveling Signs of the Times

The market and the government will continue to promote and support a neofeudal status quo until they are forced by society to restore the common good and opportunity. Of the three primary dynamics of human endeavor--the market, government and society--we focus almost exclusively on the first two. Society is rarely considered as a force of its own. It is implicitly viewed as reactive to the market economy and government, the churning wake left as the market and government chart the course. In other words, society is secondary to the economy and governance, the venue of fashions, trends, entertainment, culture wars, etc., fodder for media and social media, a reflection of what's happening in the market and government. As I explain in my book Global Crisis, National Renewal, this is a misunderstanding of society's role as a force that changes the economy and governance in profound ways. We give social transformation short shrift because it's not easy to study or understand. Social...

Sinkhole in Brazil almost swallows up two fishermen Signs of the Times

It's never good when you go out on the water to catch some fish and the water tries to catch you instead... Two fisherman in Franca, Brazil were in for a little more than they bargained for when a sinkhole opened up underneath the water and started to pull in their jon boat. The terrifying video shows the two men fighting to keep their boat above water (or mud) as the sinkhole pulls everything in the near vicinity down below. The boat happened to be the perfect size, because the front and the back stayed on land just far enough apart to cover the length of the sinkhole. Almost looked like a classic Saturday morning cartoon gag.

The Everything Collapse Signs of the Times

Sadly, gold is now on its way to heights which are unthinkable for most people. To all the people who have asked me over the years why gold doesn't go up, I have replied: "Don't wish for gold to go up substantially for when it does, your quality of life will deteriorate remarkably." And we are now at the point in the world when this is likely to happen. Let me be clear, now is the time to protect whatever assets you have in order to avoid the total asset destruction that is coming next. More about this later in this article. THE FINANCIAL SYSTEM WILL NOT SURVIVE I came to the conclusion early in this century that a sick financial system was not going to survive the infestation of vermin in the form of debt that started just over 50 years ago.

34-Count Felony Indictment of Former President Donald J. Trump The Black Vault

Below, you will find the 34-Count Felony Indictment of Former President Donald J. Trump, along with the Statement of Facts document.

Also included is the official press release by the Manhattan DA. This record is preserved here on The Black Vault for historical research purposes.

Official Manhattan DA Press Release

District Attorney Bragg Announces 34-Count Felony Indictment of Former President Donald J. Trump

Manhattan District Attorney Alvin L. Bragg, Jr. today announced the indictment of DONALD J. TRUMP, 76, for falsifying New York business records in order to conceal damaging information and unlawful activity from American voters before and after the 2016 election. During the election, TRUMP and others employed a catch and kill scheme to identify, purchase, and bury negative information about him and boost his electoral prospects. TRUMP then went to great lengths to hide this conduct, causing dozens of false entries in business records to conceal criminal activity, including attempts to violate state and federal election laws.

TRUMP is charged in a New York State Supreme Court indictment with 34 counts of Falsifying Business Records in the First Degree.

The People of the State of New York allege that Donald J. Trump repeatedly and fraudulently falsified New York business records to conceal crimes that hid damaging information from the voting public during the 2016 presidential election, said District Attorney Bragg. Manhattan is home to the countrys most significant business market. We cannot allow New York businesses to manipulate their records to cover up criminal conduct. As the Statement of Facts describes, the trail of money and lies exposes a pattern that, the People allege, violates one of New Yorks basic and fundamental business laws. As this office has done time and time again, we today uphold our solemn responsibility to ensure that everyone stands equal before the law.

According to court documents and statements made on the record in court, from August 2015 to December 2017, TRUMP orchestrated his catch and kill scheme through a series of payments that he then concealed through months of false business entries.

In one instance, American Media Inc. (AMI), paid $30,000 to a former Trump Tower doorman, who claimed to have a story about a child TRUMP had out of wedlock.

In a second instance, AMI paid $150,000 to a woman who alleged she had a sexual relationship with TRUMP. When TRUMP explicitly directed a lawyer who then worked for the Trump Organization as TRUMPs Special Counsel (Special Counsel) to reimburse AMI in cash, the Special Counsel indicated to TRUMP that the payment should be made via a shell company and not by cash. AMI ultimately declined to accept reimbursement after consulting their counsel. AMI, which later admitted its conduct was unlawful in an agreement with federal prosecutors, made...

How The Global South Has Risen in The Face of US Sabotage with Ajamu Baraka MintPress News

Ajamu Baraka is a former U.S. Green Party vice-presidential candidate, a longstanding political activist, and a spokesperson for the Black Alliance for Peace. He joins Lee Camp this week for an interview with Behind the Headlines.Chinas rise, U.S. meddling worldwide, international resistance to Western domination, and much more are covered in the hour.

It would be unbelievable just a few years ago to see that the Chinese are able to broker an agreement between Iran and Saudi Arabia, that countries in Latin America would actually openly criticize U.S. policies, Baraka said, discussing signs that global power is shifting away from U.S. hegemony.

In 2002, Baraka co-founded the Black Alliance for Peace, a coalition of organizations working to end U.S. militarism and imperialism. He was also a founding member of the U.S. Human Rights Network. He publishes with, and edits for, Black Agenda Report and recently wrote an Iraq war retrospective where he argues that the U.S. is the greatest threat to world peace. As he explained:

The U.S.-based transnational ruling class is fully invested in the doctrine of U.S. Full Spectrum Dominance, and as a consequence, the U.S. state has become an existential threat to collective humanity on our planet.

The broad conversation between Baraka and Camp details the many ways that this threat from the U.S. manifests itself on the global stage. They address the corporate media demonizing enemies of the empire, the U.S. militarys global command structure, its neocolonial behavior, and the white supremacy inherent to U.S. hegemony.

Baraka explains how the U.S.-backed lawfare operation that got Brazilian President Lula da Silva thrown in jail happened, criticizes Lulas participation in the 2004 coup removing Haitian President Jean-Bertrand Aristide from power, and considers the current situation with both Brazil and Mexico demanding sovereignty from U.S. domination.

They also cover the failures of the Black Lives Matter movement, Vice-President Kamala Harriss recent trip to Africa in the context of U.S. military activity through its African Command formation, and Barakas memories from his time in Palestine. As he told Camp:

Ive been to Palestine and Ill never go back. It was the most horrific experience of my life. And Ive been in war zones and everything else. But the daily degradation of the Palestinians is outrageous. I said when I went in 2014, if there was a documentary that got mass showing in the U.S. of the reality of a life in Palestine, I have enough confidence in the decency of the people of the U.S. that they would be outraged.

The decline and fall of urban America Signs of the Times

They're calling it 'revenge travel': the desire to make up for the touring opportunities we all lost when we were locked down in our pandemical homes. As a keen professional traveller, I confess I've got a fearsome case of this bug: I've spent the past 20 months going just about anywhere I can, playing catch up. Here's a brief list of the cities I have visited since mid-2021: Tbilisi, Seville, Munich, New Orleans, Lisbon, Reykjavik, Bangkok, Yerevan, Rome, Istanbul, Athens, Da Nang, Nashville, Los Angeles, Florence, Phnom Penh, Tucson. I could add a dozen more, but you get the gist. I've missed a terrific number of domestic social engagements; but I have recently seen quite a lot of the world and, more pertinently, seen how the urban world is coping post-pandemic. Conclusion? Every city has suffered in various ways, and the scars are visible. In East Asia the lingering lesions are psychological: they are all still wearing masks. In Europe, normal unmasked street life has returned,...

The Science of Nail Growth and Maby Created by CEO Tran Quang Has Changed Its Life The Event Chronicle

A number of biological and environmental elements interact to form the complex process of nail growth that affects manicures and pedicures. The tough protein keratin, which also makes up hair and the epidermis of the skin, gives nails their strength. Although everyones nail growth rate varies, fingernails grow 3.5 millimeters per month and toenails grow 1.6 millimeters per month on average. In this post, we will look at the science behind nail growth and the various factors that can influence it.

The Structure of Nails

Source: healthline.com

Before delving into the science of nail growth, it is critical to understand the anatomy of nails. The nail plate, nail bed, nail matrix, and cuticle are just a few of the layers that make up a set of nails. The skin beneath the nail plate is known as the nail bed, whereas the visible portion of the nail that we generally see is known as the nail plate. The tissue near the base of the nail plate is called the nail matrix, it is in charge of generating new nail cells. Finally, the cuticle, a thin layer of skin, protects the nail plates base from infection.

The Mechanism of Nail Growth

Nail growth is a continuous process that occurs as a result of the formation of new nail cells in the nail matrix. The nail matrix is a small, well-defended structure located at the base of the nail. The matrix generates the cells that make up the nail plate, the tough, visible portion of the nail.

The older cells are pushed forward when new nail cells are created in the matrix, which causes the nail to expand. The development of keratin fibers causes the nail plate to harden and become more rigid as it grows. The nails strength and longevity come from the closely packed fibers that make up it.

What Affects the Development of Nails?

DISCOVERY Paleontologists Discover Fossil of Giant Extinct Eagle Terra Forming Terra

What this does do is eliminate the idea that a giant thunder bird is simply too large to have existed.  They are certainly possible because these also existed.

Then we have the claim that they are extinct.  I am not so sure, not least because we do have recent thunder bird sightings.  Better yet it is plausible to suggest a global distribution of such birds anyway.

Oiur knowledge of eagles comes largely from bald headed eagles which rely on fishing.  This makes them daytime hunters.

Anything like these giants will hunt at night and go to ground during the day.  That means sitting inside the skirt of a large conifer giving 360 degree observation.

What is important is that we have fossil .confirmation.  Actual specimans will be far harder.

War of the drones Terra Forming Terra

We have always understood that drones were a battlefield game changer.

1     It  allows direct deep surveilance of the entire battlefield.  This can be done by both sides.  I

t also allows individual attacks against individual soldiers.  All this is enough to force the whole line to essentially button up.  That means timber bunkers with cover like in Korea.  Any concentration inside artillary range becomes impossible.

2      The technology also allows drones able to take out jet fighters.  Yet even now, we see javelins particularly doing just that.  Low flying fighters just became way to expensive.  I do expect drones to soon drive manned jet fighters from the sky.  It is just too easy.

Artillary now becomes eyeball to eyeball duels along the whole front line.  We are back to WWI battle environment.  This means no progress until you have highly trained infantry and no one has that type of leadership discipline.  There will be few safe areas.

Russian official wants Wikipedia blocked Signs of the Times

Wikipedia is a "politically biased" platform and should eventually be banned in Russia, Valery Fadeev, the head of the Presidential Human Rights Council (HRC), has said. The Kremlin, however, cautioned that any talk about blocking the website is premature, as there is currently no adequate alternative. Speaking at a press conference on Tuesday, Fadeev said Wikipedia "should be closed." While the website is a convenient platform for receiving all sorts of information, he said, there are also "a lot of distortions when it comes to politics, history." Fadeev stressed that he is not insisting that the Russian authorities ban the portal right away, but rather only after a viable alternative is launched. Igor Ashmanov, an HRC member, supported this idea, saying that Moscow has no tools to influence Wikipedia. "This is a strategic weapon. We should create equivalents and block it."

How many deaths were caused by the covid vaccines? Signs of the Times

Summary Contrary to the claims made by covid vaccine proponents there is hard evidence that most reports of vaccine deaths to the USA VAERS and UK Yellow Card systems are genuine. At most 30% of these reports can be ruled as likely not to have been caused by the vaccine. There is also evidence that the reporting rates for deaths and adverse events to these systems is very low. It is likely that fewer than 10% of deaths and other adverse events ever get reported. With these minimal assumptions we estimate there have been: approximately 120,000 deaths in the USA directly caused by the covid vaccines (between Dec 2020 until 23 March 2023) and 16,000 in the UK (between Dec 2020 until 29 Sept 2022). over 103 deaths per million doses of the covid vaccines in the UK with big differences between the three main vaccines (187 for Astra Zeneca, 68 for Pfizer and 35 for Moderna). For Astra Zeneca that amounts to 1 death in every 5348 doses. Taking account of the small proportion of people...

The Trump Indictment is So Bad it Shows The Lack of any Dignity Left in NY Courts Armstrong Economics

This Indictment is an ABUSE OF POWER and it is totally in violation of the DUE PROCESS OF LAW where a citizen MUST be provided clear evidence of such a charge fair notice. New Yorks legal system VIOLATES the Constitution and is about time that the State of New York be brought to its knees for all the abuse they have inflicted upon the people with this half-ass criminal system. As a former NY Judge himself admitted that the system was corrupt and rotten to the core.

Lawyers for decades have said a prosecutor can indict a ham sandwich because the system is outright corrupt beyond compare. That phrase was first coined by a New York State Judge named Sol Wachtler (born 1930). Wachtler was the former chief judge of New York State who coined that term in a January 1985 interview with the New York Daily News Marcia Kramer and Frank Lombardi. The relevant portion:

In a bid to make prosecutors more accountable for their actions, Chief Judge Sol Wachtler has proposed that the state scrap the grand jury system of bringing criminal indictments.

Wachtler, who became the s...

Lament for the End is Growing Closer Armstrong Economics

QUESTION: How can one, specifically Trump be charged with covering up an unproven mystery crime that by definition he is innocent of (innocent until proven guilty)? And why does no one mention this.

MC

ANSWER: This entire thing is doing nothing but bringing down the respect of the entire legal system. I knew the New York legal system was a cesspool. But now you are exposing it to the whole world. The judge should be removed. He has sat on Trump cases before. If I file anything in the Supreme Court, Justice Sotomayor immediately recuses herself because she sat on my case in the Second Circuit and even disagreed with the majority which got me into the Supreme Court before she moved there. To pretend he can still preside is a slap in the face and only shows the case is rigged.

Then this Alvan Bragg is out of control. He threatened Congressman Jordan, warning him not to protect Trump implying that would be a conspiracy. What will this rouge prosecutor do now? Charge all the Republicans in Congress with conspiracy?

Pelosi is a total disgrace. How can someone presiding as the Speaker of the House declare Trump is GUILTY and he MUST prove his innocence? She has no understanding of the Constitution. In all honesty, she has rejected the very foundation of a free society. She should then go surrender NOW for all the inside trading she has done and the burden should be hers to PROVE she is innocent.

Then we should apply her standard to Biden and his son Hunter. They are guilty and are therefore unfit to preside as President until he PROVES their innocence. Never in my wildest dreams did I ever expect the indictment of a former head of state for anything should of treason like Nixon and Bill Clinton who everyone knew committed perjury? The US never use the law to go af...

Japan Secures Oil Deal with Russia Armstrong Economics

Japan is an energy-dependent nation that relies on imports to function. Despite being a G7 member, Japan has remained largely silent on the Russia-Ukraine war and is the only member to deny Zelenskys pleas for weapons. The prime minister was the last in the alliance to visit Ukraine amid the war. The G7 nations set a $60 per barrel price cap on Russian crude but granted Japan a pass.

Japan has purchased nearly 748,000 barrels of Russian oil for $70 a piece in the first two months of the year alone. All of the MSM headlines read: JAPAN BREAKS ALLIANCE WITH WESTERN ALLIES, as if there were an alternative. Even conservative outlets are saying that Japan has broken ties with the West. Japan is unwilling to deliberately allow its nation to crumble from an energy shortage, unlike the Build Back Better nations.

Oil prices surged on Monday after OPEC+ announced plans to limit production, which will lead to a rise in global prices. Energy costs affect the cost of everything from the supply chain to food. Yet, the countries that have the ability to drill, such as the US and Canada, are refusing to do so despite energy prices significantly contributing to overall inflation and economic instability.

The West chastised India and China for purchasing Russian oil. They dont want to lose their Japanese ally and are attempting to give them a free pass, but only until September. What happens then? Will Japan be forced to break its alliance with the G7? The West was hoping that longstanding tensions between China and Japan would push them into this proxy war, but the Japanese government is not willing to implode its economy. Let us also remember that Japan was forced to close numerous nuclear power plants after the earthquake hit in 2011. They are completely reliant on imports. It seems that only nations willing to surrender their economies in the name of abandoning fossil fuels, with no alternative, are ousted from the Wests good graces.

NATO Promotes WW3 with Finlands Membership Armstrong Economics

Finland has officially become the 31st member of NATO. Finland has today become a member of the defense alliance NATO. The era of military non-alignment in our history has come to an end. A new era begins, Finlands President Sauli Niinist mistakenly celebrated. It is clear that Finland does not understand Russias motives for the war in Ukraine.

Finland shares an 832-mile border with Russia, doubling the size of NATOs borders with Russia. Russia is now surrounded, backed into a corner. Russias national security is in jeopardy, and will not choose flight over fight. This is precisely what Russia had been arguing against for years. Finland was not under threat of attack from Russia and did not need global military protection, nor did it need to spend a portion of its GDP to push forward the war effort.

Finlands membership is not targeted against anyone. Nor does it change the foundations or objectives of Finlands foreign and security policy. Finland is a stable and predictable Nordic country that seeks peaceful resolution of disputes, the new president also stated. Russia certainly did not see this as a neutral act. We will strengthen our military capabilities in the west and northwest if NATO members deploy forces and equipment on Finnish territory, Russias Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Grushko warned. Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said that Moscow will prepare counter-measures to ensure our own security, both tactically and strategically.

Finland has not aligned with other military powers in nearly 80 years. US Neocon Anthony Blinken was foaming at the mouth for this partnership to take place. Finlands people were safe and uninvolved in this proxy war before Tuesday. Everyone cheering that Finland has joined the good guys fails to realize this directly escalates the conflict to new proportions. What started as a land dispute between two neighboring countries has overtaken the world, and all leaders are willing to risk the lives of their people to win this war. Ukraine is now loudly voicing its desire to join NATO, which would guarantee a full-scale world war. The chess players are aligning their players, and it is only a matter of time before mass destruction takes place that changes the world as we know it.

Thats It Stop Driving all Cars Stop Hamburgers Stop All Work Armstrong Economics

Obviously, we have caused a hole in the magnetic field that will devastate South America and it must be all our fault for driving cars, heating our homes, eating hamburgers and Nathans beef hot dogs, smoking, and going to working even virtually since that requires electricity.

The image above (created by scientists Christopher Finlay, Clemens Kloss, Nils Olsen et al) shows a growing weak patch in the Earths magnetic field that is exposing satellites and the International Space Station to greater radiation risks. It appears to have been growing since 1958 and will possibly split into two like an Ameba is a unicellular organism giving birth to a clone. Unlike higher forms of life, amoebas do not need another individuals genetic material to reproduce. The nucleus of each cell contains the amoebas genetic material. First, the genetic material replicates. Then the nucleus divides.

In my studies of cycles and the universe, there is never something new. It appears to be the same process over and over again. The universe is fractal. This to me appears to be preparing to split precisely as an amoeba which is a single-cell lifeform.

Anti-Hillary Election Meme Case Could Open The Floodgates To More Govt Censorship, Legal Experts Warn BlackListed News

First Amendment experts say Mackeys conviction is based on an expansive interpretation of a Conspiracy Against Rights law that could impact other forms of speech, from satire to lies in election campaigns.

A Single Crack on a Teflon Pan Can Cause Thousands of Plastic Partlces to Release Awareness Act

I love my Teflon, non-stick pans, and the convenience they provide in the kitchen. Unfortunately, a recent study discovered that Americas favorite pan could come with some pretty hefty consequences.

In the new study, Australian researchers discovered that even the slightest crack on a Teflon-coated pan could release 9,1000 plastic particles.

We all know that over time, Teflon pans can wear down. Most of us have had at least one moment, where we began stirring around a bit too hard, only to find a slight scratch on our non-stick pan.

The study took a look at microplastics and nanoplastics, and based on their research, human beings are exposed to quite a lot of plastic particles over time. It gives us a strong warning that we must be careful about selecting and using cooking utensils to avoid food contamination, explains Youhong Tang, a mechanical and material engineer from Finders University in Australia.

To reach their conclusions, they used Raman imaging and algorithmic modeling to identify the release of over 2.3 million microplastics and nanoplastics. The non-stick coating material Teflon is generally a family member of PFAS, says Dr. Cheng Fang, one of the study authors. Given the fact PFAS is a big concern, these Teflon microparticles in our food might be a health concern, [which] needs investigating because we dont know much about these emerging contaminants, he warned.

In their study, they observed and tested six different types of non-stick pots and pans, that were both new and used. To be fair, they mimicked cooking and cleaning processes, however, they didnt use oil.

While the researchers understand how dangerous PFAS can be, they did assert that more research should be done to look into other routes of contamination and their effects. More research is recommended to address the risk assessment of the Teflon microplastics and nanoplastics, given that Teflon is a family member of PFAS, says Tang.

Military Begins Testing Weapon That Destroys Electronics, Instead of Buildings Awareness Act

We live in a technological world, so much so, that if our electronics all stopped working, the world would shut down. With that in mind, the Air Force has begun testing its newest weapon, and its not designed to kill humans.

Instead, its focus is on electronics. The Air Force Research Laboratory is conducting two months of testing, along with the Office of Navel research on High-Powered Joint Electromagnetic Non-Kinetic Strik Weapons or HiJENKS. HiJENKS is a five-year project that can be used to destroy electronics in a very targeted fashion.

Before HiJENKS, there was another High-Powered Microwave Advanced Missile Project known as Champ. What these two share in common is that they are designed to disable electronics without using any physical force. Its not an easy task to create a weapon that can disable electronics without the use of any physical force.

However, HiJENKS can fry electronics by using bursts of microwave energy. HiJENKS was created as an improvement to CHAMP, which was built to fit in the case of a bomber-launched cruise missile. Currently, there isnt much that has been released to the public regarding HiJENKS form. Well start looking at more service-specific applications once weve done this test that demonstrates the technology, says Jeffrey Heggemeirer, the chief of AFRLs high-power electromagnetics division.

Heggemeier said the program hasnt yet designated a platform for the weapon, but noted HiJENKS smaller footprint means it could be integrated on a wider range of carrier systems, reported C4ISRNET.

No matter how this weapon develops, it could be a very powerful and dangerous weapon. However, amid battle, it could prove beneficial, at least in some capacity. For now, we can only speculate as to how it would work in battle because as it stands, it is still in the developmental and testing stages.

10 Simple Ways to Give Your Child Positive Attention Awareness Act

As parents, we often worry about making sure that we do all of the things: we enlist them in extracurriculars, we make sure they eat the best food, and we try to ensure they get the best education possible. However, the most important thing we should be doing, the one thing that stands above the rest is giving our kids positive attention.

Your children crave your presence, even if they fight you at times. Remember, kids are still developing, so their emotions can be a little bit chaotic. That is why it is so important to give them the right attention, so they can grow and develop into healthy and happy little humans. Here are 10 simple ways to give your child positive attention.

1. Smile at them.

From the time a child is born, they begin to study their caregivers face. They do this, to understand how you feel about them. When you smile or coo or give them kind remarks, they know they can be at peace and feel secure. Just because they grow into toddlers or even teenagers does not mean that their smile loses impact. So, strive to smile at them often.

2. Let them lead for the day.

As parents, we take the reigns 100% of the time. So, every once in a while, let them be the leader and let them direct your day.

3. Always recognize the right behavior.

When you notice your child behaving in the right way, recognize it and praise them. Praise them when they are being kind or empathetic. Praise them when they do something for someone else. Praise them when they ace their math test. Praise is what shows them that they are on the right path.

4. Invite them to do something that you normally do by yourself.

Do you normally run certain errands by yourself? Next time, bring your child alone. For example, if you tend to go get a pedicure once a month, the next time you go, bring your little one and let them get one too!

5. Always listen when they are talking to you.

When your child is trying to get your attention through talking, stop what you are doing and listen. I dont mean listen halfway while you scroll through social media. I mean, give them your undivided attention.

6. Ask them about their interests.

Your children will begin to develop interests of their own from an early age. Show an interest in their interests by asking them about them.

7. Leave them notes.

One simple way to show your child they are loved is by leaving notes for them. When I was little my mom used to write things like I love you on the mirror in lipstick and it always made me feel so loved. Its the simple things, you know?

8. Make eye contact as often as possible.

When you make eye contact with your child, you are showing them they have your undivided attention. Regardless of whether its during the conversation or just a quick glance, this is important because you are showing them that you notice them.

4 Phrases That Will Help You Become A Better Mother Awareness Act

As mothers, we all want to be the best. We want to raise our kids to be happy, to be healthy, feel loved, and get what they want and need from life.

While this can feel like a tough job at times, in the grand scheme of things, being a mom is the most rewarding job in the world. However, in the heat of everything, when the chaos of it all is weighing on our shoulders, it can be hard to see it that way. Below, I would like to cover some phrases that will help you to up your moms game 100%.

1. I am still learning.

There are times I think I know my child like the back of my hand. Then, I am forced to remember that because he is still growing, still developing, and not yet done becoming who he is, I have a lot to learn. So, in the moments in which your child surprises you, remember, this is a learning curve and one that never ends.

2. I get to.

Instead of thinking, I have to get up early to get the kids ready for school, or I have to do all of this work to be a mom, etc, change your mindset. Say I get to get up early and take the kids to school. Or, I get to make a lovely meal for my babies. It really is a game-changer.

3. Is this about them or me?

The other day in the grocery store, my little one started screaming. I immediately started trying to get him to calm down. And then it occurred to me: am I trying to make him be quiet because I am embarrassed other moms will hear my child screaming and think badly of me, or because I am truly concerned with how he feels?

4. This too, shall pass.

Sometimes, motherhood can be hard. However, the tough parts never last. The more that you try to focus on all the bad, hoping that it hurries up and stops, its important to remember that the good things will pass too. So, take the good with the bad.

Anatomy of a Biden Family business deal: Get son Hunter or sister Valerie to sign 'on behalf of the VP' Signs of the Times

Email exchanges between Joe Biden's family and business associates show the Bidens planning to cash in on the family name in an academic venture with the University of Delaware while discussing ways to carefully distance Joe himself from financial documents outlining the deal. Team Biden was to receive $12.5 million for the establishment of the Biden Institute at the University of Delaware (UD), which launched shortly after Joe Biden left the vice presidency in 2017. The arrangement meant a nice payday for the Bidens and their associates. And, as it turned out, the launch of the Biden Institute coincided with a bonanza in foreign money donations for the university. Correspondences show that UD wanted Joe Biden to raise funds for the university after his institute opened. In the weeks and months following the opening of the Institute, UD received foreign cash donations totaling more than $33 million, including $6.7 million from China. Of that sum, three gifts came directly from the...

Trump under arrest in New York - Justice Dept. reportedly pursuing separate obstruction case against him Signs of the Times

Former US President Donald Trump arrived at the Manhattan District Attorney's office on Tuesday afternoon, to be placed under arrest and face a series of charges his attorneys have denounced as a politically motivated "witch hunt" by the New York Democrat Alvin Bragg. The existence of the charges was leaked to the press last Friday, and more details were leaked on Monday, indicating that Bragg is going after the 45th president for the "crime" of allegedly falsifying business records in regard to "hush money" reportedly paid to porn actress Stormy Daniels ahead of the 2016 presidential election. Federal prosecutors declined to pursue the case, and multiple legal scholars have argued that the charges amount to a misdemeanor campaign violation at best. Hillary Clinton paid a fine for the same exact transgression in the matter of funding the notorious "Steele dossier," a series of fabrications accusing Trump of having ties to Russia. A New Pandemic Treaty: The most dangerous International treaty ever proposed Signs of the Times

Human history is a story of forgotten lessons. Despite the catastrophic collapse of European democracy in the 1930s, it appears that the tale of the twentieth century - in which citizens, cowed by existential threats, acquiesced in the rejection of liberty and truth in favour of obedience and propaganda, whilst allowing despotic leaders to seize ever more absolutist powers - is perilously close to being forgotten. Nowhere is this more evident than in relation to the apparent nonchalance which has greeted two international legal agreements currently working their way through the World Health Organisation: a new pandemic treaty, and amendments to the 2005 International Health Regulations, both due to be put before the governing body of the WHO, the World Health Assembly, in May next year. As concerned scholars and jurists have detailed, these agreements threaten to fundamentally reshape the relationship between the WHO, national governments, and individuals.

In reality, many these forces are ideologically driven by the powers that be, transcending the dialectic of left and right.  Beyond the controlled narrative of the masses the depths of our cultural zeitgeist are often steered by scientific helmsmen and military psychological warfare strategists.  The corporate structure that owns our government also owns and creates culture for specific ends.  Thus, Hollywood becomes a chief culture driver much like the controlled music industry.  Entertainment plays a crucial role in this control grid, and Jay Dyer lectures through the writings of the global elite to decode this system like no one else: From CIA operatives to famous ad men, the mad men that run our world have a specific scientific endgame.

'We have to take a stand against the injustice' - Rep. Greene Decries Trump Indictment in Rally Outside NY Courthouse | 4 April 2023 | Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) joined supporters of former President Donald Trump in New York on April 4 to protest his indictment. "I came to your state to peacefully protest against the persecution of an innocent man," Greene told a crowd of protesters at Collect Pond Park just hours before Trump was scheduled to be arraigned across the street. "Not just any man--this is the former president of the United States of America, and the government has been weaponized against him." "Every American should take a stand," she added. "This is what happens in communist countries, not the United States of America. We have to take a stand against the injustice, the corruption, and the communist Democrats who are taking our legal code and twisting it, manipulating it, and converting it into something it was never meant to be."

Trump Pleads Not Guilty to 34-Count Indictment | 4 April 2023 | Donald Trump, former president and frontrunner for the Republican presidential nomination in 2024, pleaded not guilty in New York on April 4 to an unprecedented indictment brought by the Manhattan district attorney. News of the historic indictment on March 30 set off several days of media mania which culminated on Tuesday in coverage of Trump's motorcade ride through his beloved hometown en route to voluntarily surrender himself at the offices of New York County District Attorney Alvin Bragg and hear his charges at the New York Supreme Court. In a return to the saga which began shortly after he won the 2016 election, the district attorney charged Trump with 34 counts of falsifying business records in connection to a payment for a non-disclosure agreement signed by adult entertainment actress Stormy Daniels and Trump's then-attorney, Michael Cohen.

West 'not so eager to find out' who bombed Nord Stream - report CLG News

West 'not so eager to find out' who bombed Nord Stream - report --NATO leaders would rather not know if their allies were involved, the newspaper's sources said | 3 April 2023 | Western officials would rather not know who bombed the Nord Stream pipelines, lest they discover that their allies were responsible, the Washington Post reported on Monday. The report listed Polish and Ukrainian operatives as likely perpetrators, but left out one key suspect. "Don't talk about Nord Stream" is now an unwritten rule at gatherings of European and NATO policymakers, an unnamed European diplomat told the newspaper. "Leaders see little benefit from digging too deeply and finding an uncomfortable answer," the Post added, stating that officials "would rather not have to deal with the possibility that Ukraine or its allies were involved." "It's like a corpse at a family gathering," the diplomat continued, explaining that while everyone can see the metaphorical body, they pretend it's not there. "It's better not to know," the source said.

Pentagon keeps secrets on cancer-causing toxins - lawsuit --Groups representing US military veterans have sued to demand information on hazardous materials at K2 base in Uzbekistan | 4 April 2023 | The Pentagon has hidden information on uranium, nerve gas and other hazardous materials that allegedly caused American troops to fall ill while stationed at an Uzbek military base in the early years of the war in Afghanistan, groups representing ex-soldiers have claimed in a lawsuit. The federal court lawsuit was filed on Monday in Connecticut, demanding that the Pentagon turn over its records on the toxins to which troops were exposed at the Karshi-Khanabad Air Base, known as "K2," during US operations there from 2001 to 2005. At least 15,777 US service members were deployed at the base, from which US troop transports and air strikes on targets in Afghanistan were staged.

New Yorkers who survived the city during the pandemic remember the long months when Bragg's office became a revolving door for career criminals who hit up the streets in broad daylight and had many residents fearing the subways. While Bragg's office was preparing to indict Trump, he let violent reoffenders continue to wreak havoc. In August, Mayor Eric Adams revealed that the same 10 criminals made up nearly 500 crimes and that 60 percent of them were still roaming the streets at that time. Adams, who promised New Yorkers he would crack down on crime that had risen during the pandemic, criticized him, as well as State Governor Kathy Hochul.

Springtime snow and gusts sweep across Balkans Signs of the Times

An unusual occurrence of wintry weather in spring swept through the Western Balkans Tuesday, bringing snow and gusts that snarled traffic in the region. Residents in the capitals of Serbia, Bosnia, and Kosovo woke to the sight of trees and bushes blanketed in snow. In Croatia and Montenegro, strong winds stopped most ferry lines along the Adriatic Sea coastline and delayed a flight from Montenegro's capital, Podgorica, to Belgrade. Authorities in Serbia said that a tree branch fell on two teenage girls in Belgrade, apparently brought down by wet and heavy snow. The girls were taken to a hospital as a precaution. Snow blocked several roads in southern and southwestern Serbia and some villages were left without electricity, police said in a statement, urging caution.

OPEC: Saudis aren't afraid of US anymore Signs of the Times

The shock oil production cuts from May outlined by the OPEC+ on Sunday essentially means that eight key OPEC countries decided to join hands with Russia to reduce oil production, messaging that OPEC and OPEC+ are now back in control of the oil market. No single oil producing country is acting as the Pied Piper here. The great beauty about it is that Saudi Arabia and seven other major OPEC countries have unexpectedly decided to support Russia's efforts and unilaterally reduce production. While the 8 OPEC countries are talking about a reduction of one million b/d from May to the end of the year, Russia will extend for the same period its voluntary adjustment that already started in March, by 500,000 barrels. Now, add to this the production adjustments already decided by the OPEC+ previously, and the total additional voluntary production adjustments touch a whopping 1.6 million b/d. What has led to this? Fundamentally, as many analysts had forewarned, the Western sanctions against...

On Feb. 4th the United States shot down a Chinese high-altitude balloon after it sailed over the United States over the course of several days. The Biden administration claimed it was a surveillance balloon, while the Chinese government called it an unmanned civilian airship used mainly for meteorological research purposes that had strayed off course due to weather conditions. US Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said the balloon was a clear violation of our sovereignty as well as international law

The White House and most American media have positioned the Chinese balloon as a serious and unwarranted act of aggression by the Chinese government.

Marin says 'democracy is always a wonderful thing' as her Social Democrats come third behind rightwing NCP and nationalist Finns parties... Marin's SDP took 19.9% of the vote. Voter turnout was 71.9%. Marin congratulated the election winners during her concession speech, but hailed an improvement in both her party's vote share and its projected number of MPs. "It's a really good achievement, even though I didn't finish first today. Democracy has spoken, the Finnish people have cast their vote, and the celebration of democracy is always a wonderful thing. Christo Grozev of the US government-sponsored Bellingcat endorsed the terror attack that killed a Russian war reporter and injured many others during a public event in St. Petersburg. He also defended Ukraine's attempt to assassinate a Russian philosopher because he was a "propagandist." In the hours that followed the April 2, 2023 bombing of a cafe in St. Petersburg, Russia, Christo Grozev of the US government-funded Bellingcat outlet defended the terror attack that killed a war reporter and wounded 30 others. Throughout his eight-minute interview with Sky News, Bellingcat's lead Russia investigator Christo Grozev offered an unapologetic, de facto endorsement of the terror attack at a public event at the Street Food Bar 1 cafe in St. Petersburg. In order to justify the bombing, Grozev cast it as either a legitimate Ukrainian operation carried out in the context of "hybrid warfare," or a potential Russian false flag.

'New York City is a joke': Manhattan prosecutors charge victim of assault with attempted murder Signs of the Times

On Saturday, the New York Police Department announced that a man who shot a thief in self defense will be charged with attempted murder despite being shot twice and having to wrestle the firearm away from the thief. The man, identified as 57-year-old Moussa Diarra, was working in a Manhattan parking garage early Saturday morning when he saw a man looking into vehicles around 5:30 a.m., as reported by the New York Post. When the thief, identified as 59-year-old Charles Rhodie, reached into the bag he pulled out a gun thus leading to a struggle. Diarra lunged for the weapon but was shot in the stomach and ear by the thief. Following this, the worker managed to get the gun away from the would be killer and shot Rhodie in the chest. The CDC members' symptoms are consistent with health complaints reported by residents and first responders. Impacted team members have not reported ongoing health effects." The CDC's Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (ATSDR), a branch that specializes in...

Moscow: West seeks to crush Christian Church in Ukraine Signs of the Times

The ongoing church conflict "has the traits of a religious war," Sergey Naryshkin has said Kiev's crackdown on the canonical Ukrainian Orthodox Church (UOC) is part of a Western campaign to undermine religion in Ukraine and its role as the glue that unites the faithful, senior Russian intelligence official Sergey Naryshkin has said. "The current regime in Kiev and its masters in the capitals of Western nations seek not only to ban, but to physically destroy canonical Orthodoxy in the territory of Ukraine," he stated on Tuesday. The official heads the Foreign Intelligence Service of Russia (SVR). He made the remarks during a media event in Minsk, where he is meeting with the Belarusian leadership. Western governments realize the value of faith "amid the collapse of ideologies and a fight for world dominance," Naryshkin added. Russian Orthodoxy serves as "a spiritual force, which remains the foundation of unity of Orthodox peoples."

Lying about Lying: Why We Must Revisit the Definition of Fake News MintPress News

The phrase fake news continues to be deployed routinely in US politics. In a polarized political atmosphere, both Republicans and Democrats distrust media organizations affiliated with opposing parties. This means that most of what is uttered or written by CNN is fake news for Republicans, and much of what appears in Republicans-affiliated media is fake news for Democrats.

The phrase is now so prevalent and has multiple meanings to the point that it is impossible to agree on a common definition. Even fact checking organizations or news desks contribute to the troubling phenomenon of fake news by selectively fact-checking news and information affiliated with one side of the political aisle while ignoring the other.

Some traced the fake news story to a small Eastern European town called Veles in Macedonia. This particular claim is associated with Craig Silverman, a media editor at Buzzfeed. We ended up finding a small cluster of news websites all registered in the same town, Silverman was quoted by the BBC. The objective of these websites seemed mostly financial, clickbait as they are called, to lure in unsuspecting users to seemingly unlikely headlines.

Later, the term became very political. It was former US President Donald Trump who publicized the term, transforming it into the major phenomenon seen today. Mike Wendling of the BBC, however, claimed that it was Trumps staunch rival in the 2016 US Presidential elections, Hillary Clinton, who first used the term in a speech in December of the same year.

Manufactured consent

Actually, fake news predates both Clinton and Trump. When I first moved to the United States over two decades ago, I recall my total shock at seeing the headlines of print tabloids, always positioned at the center of major US grocery stores: From unsubstantiated celebrity scandals to breaking news about aliens impregnating human females before returning to their home planet. Even as a newcomer to the country, it was obvious to me that such rubbish was also fake news. Sadly, these tabloids were often sold faster than legitimate newspapers, which suggests that the biggest challenge posed by fake news is our gullibility and will...

Half of 'long Covid' sufferers have never had Covid, says new study Signs of the Times

The battle of ideas around Covid has few clashes as hotly contested as Long Covid. Alarmists have hyped the frequency and severity with which infection causes long-term damage. Sceptics see no reason for panic. A new study helps to settle at least part of this debate. The paper in the Journal of the American Medical Association's (JAMA) Network Open looked at "post-COVID-19 condition (PCC) in young people after mild acute infection" to find how common it was and to find risk factors. Participants were aged between 12 and 25. The authors offer this straightforward conclusion: "PCC was not associated with biological markers specific to viral infection." That is, participants were equally likely to suffer from 'Long Covid', whether or not they had suffered from acute COVID-19. The researchers concluded that Long Covid is predicted by "initial symptom severity" and, intriguingly, "psychosocial factors".

Signature verification software used by Maricopa County says 10% is 'high-confidence' match Signs of the Times

With Kari Lake's legal complaint alleging systematic signature verification failures in Maricopa County remanded by the Arizona Supreme Court to trial court, closer examination of the signature verification software used by the county reveals a strikingly low threshold for signatures to qualify as "high-confidence" matches. Since falling about 17,000 votes short in the 2022 Arizona gubernatorial election to Democrat Gov. Katie Hobbs, Lake has continued to contest the election results in court, arguing that there were ballot chain of custody and signature verification issues in addition to thousands of Republican voters disproportionately disenfranchised on Election Day, when voting machine errors occurred in nearly 60% of the voting centers in Maricopa County. Lake has requested that the election results be invalidated or that she be declared the winner. Last week, the Arizona Supreme Court remanded Lake's claim alleging massive signature verification failure to the trial court,...

The "Covid-denying, conspiracy-theorizing, Putin-loving, far-right-extremist" Left. There were approximately 150 of us, and we gathered in a "homophobic church" in Islington. Yes, Islington, which is more or less the British headquarters of the New Normal Left. We did not care. "Let them come for us," we said. They didn't. It was a Saturday. They were probably out shopping or hunting down imaginary anti-Semites. So, we went ahead and did our thing. Tell Attorney-General Dreyfus to end the illegal imprisonment of Julian Assange - Thursday 10pm Mordialloc (We) can do better

From 10am until 12pm tomorrow, on Thursday 6 April, outside the electoral office of the Attorney General Mark Dreyfus in the south-eastern Melbourne suburb of Mordialloc, supporters of Julian Assange will be protesting to demand that the Australian government act to end the British Government's imprisonment of Julian Assange.

The Attorny-General Mark Dreyfus, as the most senior legal officer in Australia, must surely be aware that the British Government's imprisonment of Assange, who has broken no British or Australian law, in solitary confinement for 23 hours per day, is in violation of British law, international law and the First Amendment to the US constitution which guarantees the right to free speech. I would be most interested to hear from Mark Dreyfus, himself, why the Australian government has chosen not to act to end the illegal imprisonment of Assange, but I expect not to be given this opportunity.

Please come along to hear speeches, hold banners or hand out leaflets.

Speech: Why won't the Australian Government act to end the illegal imprisonment of Assange?

The video below, shows myself speaking at an earlier protest at the same location on Monday 27 February. In my speech, I ma...

Final Words On P-22 Organikos

We linked to stories about this great cat frequently enough that its demise was sad news. So this requiem is overdue and quite welcome. We rarely have words with no images, but for P-22 it seems like the way to do it (as is the reference to a domestic cat in the authors life):

Requiem for a Great Cat

The beloved mountain lion P-22 connected humans to feline mysteries.

The citizens of Los Angeles have not forgotten about P-22, the furtively majestic mountain lion of Griffith Park, who died a week before Christmas, at the age of about twelve. A handsome beast with amber eyes and a white muzzle, P-22 was probably born in the Santa Monica Mountains, the coastal range west of L.A. His father was P-1, the first animal to have been tagged in a National Park Service mountain-lion study that began in 2002. (P stands for puma; the cats are known variously as pumas, mountain lions, panthers, catamounts, and cougars.) At the age of around one and a half, P-22 made a perilous twenty-mile journey eastward, presumably in search of uncontested territory. He crossed Interstate 405; loped through the hills above Westside L.A.; traversed the 101; and reached a reasonably safe haven in Griffith Park, a forty-two-hundred-acre expanse of urban wilderness northeast of Hollywood. In 2012, the biologist Miguel Ordeana was reviewing images from a remote camera in the park when he saw, to his amazement, the sturdy hindquarters of a massive feline. There had been occasional puma sightings in the park, but no one had conceived of a big cat residing there full time.

The L.A. Times reported P-22s existence in 2012, and his rise to fame began. A photographer from National Geographic caught an image of him prowling at night, with the Hollywood sign aglow on the hill above. Two homeowners in Los Feliz, a neighborhood south of Griffith Park, discovered him resting placidly in a...

Ukrainian Refugees in Munich A Real Crisis Armstrong Economics

COMMENT: Hi Martin,

I live in a commute in Munich in a nice neighborhood, I pay around 700 EUR rent for the smallest room, but we have a garden and live with a few Ukrainians. They are very nice, seem like reasonable folks.
What Im worried about though is the refugee system we have in place here in Bavaria. I wanted to move to another room, but I couldnt: was kind of too expensive, 800 EUR/month. Guess who took it, another Ukrainian of course, the state is paying it (Arbeitsamt). The crazy thing is that Im having trouble with inflation and because I additionally have to pay taxes so that Ukrainians can live in the most luxurious room of the house for more than a year already. I would have no problem supporting them for a few months. But the thing is, a year has passed and they dont even bother to search for work. They just go to German classes a few times a week. And spend most of the day talking and chilling in the kitchen. All of that while Munich is desperately searching for labour.

I also heard from sources, that they dont really seem to be interested to work. A contact of mine offered them work, but they told him they cant, as they are too busy learning German. Which I dont understand, I see them all the time having fun in our kitchen. They dont even really seem to learn German, one of them cant say more than Guten Tag after one year of German classes
Additionally, it seems like they are getting money from the state for leisure. As far as I have seen, they already went more often for traveling this past year through Europe than me. What I dont understand, they also seem to be traveling back and forth to Ukraine to visit friends and family. I dont get it, I thought that country was at war.
All in all, I think its good to help refugees. But when I have to suffer so that I can pay them to rent the best rooms in the house, while they have fun and are chilling in the kitchen, travel around Europe, even go visit their family in Ukraine while at war, and all that for more than a year, then the system doesnt seem to be very fair to me, something doesnt add up.
Best,

Dozens of dolphins have washed up on Japan's beaches - No one knows why Signs of the Times

Eight dolphins were found washed up on beaches in the Greater Tokyo Area on Tuesday morning, according to local news reports. The mammals, identified as melon-headed whales, looked like they were struggling to breathe, said Mibu Saito, a local official who visited the site nearby Isumi and Ichinomiya in Chiba Prefecture. "I felt sorry for all those weak dolphins that had washed ashore and we still don't know why they were stranded there," Saito told VICE World News. Of the eight found, four were dead, while the rest were returned to the ocean. A day earlier, 33 dolphins were also found beached just a few hundred meters away. Passersby and surfers tried to carry or roll the dolphins towards the ocean, but two died, Saito said.

Fox Philadelphia reported the dolphin was found on the Baltimore Avenue beach. A porpoise washed up on a beach in the Ortley Beach section of Toms River on Tuesday. Necropsy results are pending from the Marine Mammal Stranding Center. Porpoises and dolphins are both species of odontocetes or toothed whales. Porpoises have rounder faces and more triangular dorsal fins, while dolphins have more pointed beaks and dorsal fins.

Breaking Down Vaping Myths: Separating Fact From Fiction The Event Chronicle

Vaping has become a popular trend in recent years, with millions of people around the world using e-cigarettes as a way to quit smoking or simply as a hobby. However, it is often shrouded in myths and misconceptions, which can make it difficult for people to make informed decisions about whether or not to try it. In this article, well be breaking down some of the most common myths and separating fact from fiction.

Myth #1: Vaping is just as bad as smoking

Source: freepik.com

One of the most persistent myths about it is that its just as bad as smoking. This couldnt be further from the truth. While it does involve inhaling vapor, it doesnt contain the harmful tar and carbon monoxide found in cigarette smoke. In fact, a Public Health England report found that vaping is at least 95% less harmful than smoking.

That being said, its important to remember that vaping isnt completely risk-free. Some e-cigarette liquids contain nicotine, which is highly addictive and can be harmful to developing brains. In addition, there have been some reports of lung injuries associated with it. However, these cases are rare and are often linked to the use of illegal or unregulated vaping products.

Myth #2: Vaping is just for young people

Another common myth about it is that its only popular among young people. While its true that vaping has become increasingly popular among teenagers and young adults, its also popular among older adults who are trying to quit smoking.

In fact, many older adults find that it is a helpful tool for quitting smoking. Unlike traditional nicotine replacement therapies like gum and patches, perfect vape products allow users to simulate the experience of smoking while gradually reducing their nicotine intake. This can make it easier for smokers to quit for good.

Myth #3: Vaping is just as addictive as smoking

Australia isnt a real nation, its a US military base with kangaroos - article by Caitlin Johnstone (We) can do better

One of the many, many signs that Australia is nothing more than a US military and intelligence asset is the way its government has consistently refused to intervene to protect Australian citizen Julian Assange from political persecution at the hands of the US empire.

In a new article titled , The Guardian quotes Australias foreign minister as saying, We are doing what we can, between government and government, but there are limits to what that diplomacy can achieve. Wong said this when asked if Prime Minister Anthony Albanese discussed the worlds most famous with the US president and British prime minister when he met with them together two weeks ago.

Wong whether her governments leader had raised the issue with his supposed US and UK counterparts, repeating instead the same shes been since Labor took over: that the Assange case has dragged on long enough and should be brought to a close. Which if you listen carefully isnt actually a statement in favour of releasing the WikiLeaks founder or blocking extradition its just saying the case should be concluded hastily, one way or another.

Ukraine - The Road To War Terra Forming Terra

I do like this analysis. More critically, western policy has been folly when it comes to Russia and has been driven by the out right greed of our so called war industry rather than what was clearly in our interest from the very beginning. Yet Russia also had to both learn and mature.

All the other so called analysis has largely been excusing activity used to goad russia into some form of war.  What Russia obviously did was secure effective Russian provinces against Ukrainian attacks.  The Ukrainian now have to push dug in Russian forces out.

This can only happen with motivated well trained Ukrainian forces.  At best, there may be a few.

We have a lot of feel good stories out there but also no further change on the ground.  Everything i have seen so far conforms to a grab and hold approach by Russia, then allowing the Ukrainians to exhaust themselves in the trenches.  It takes serious training and real motivation to overcome a defensive trench warfare.  No sign of that at all.

Part One: The Road To War

For years, from Mali to Afghanistan, I have worked for peace and risked my life for it. It is therefore not a question of justifying war, but of understanding what led us to it. [.]

Lets try to examine the roots of the [Ukrainian] conflict. It starts with those who for the last eight years have been talking about separatists or independentists from Donbass. This is a misnomer. The referendums conducted by the two self-proclaimed Republics of Donets...

FDA confirms Graphene Oxide is in the mRNA COVID-19 Vaccines Terra Forming Terra

Now i understand just what they were trying to do.  In 1993, I was paid to understand just how small particles of activated charcoal could be used to produce nanoparticles of a useful biological for skin care.  This was fifteen years before graphene itself was discovered.

What we were working with was not dangerous but also difficult to do.  The advent of graphene solved that as nano particles could now be produced.  My problem is that they are potentially dangerous but easy to slide through as safe.(NOT)

It is now turning out that they are dangerous as hell.  Because they are so called reduced, it means that they will attach to another pparticle and thus we see fibers show up.  Not good.  The body can handle a lot of all this, but is is hardly good news or practise.

That may well be good news because it separates it all out and the blood system can then bypass any blockage. Otherwise the particles are like shards of glass chwing up cells.

Plasma SPACE. Terra Forming Terra

 Plasma SPACE.

I am continuing my reading of the book by Robert Temple on Plasma, but before we go further i do want to suggest something.  We know that 98 % of the mass cannot be seen.  We Know that this mass is in the observed galaxies.  We also know that all particle creation must also be specific to any given galaxy.  Way more important and a complete error to ignore is that all such mass is sublight.  That means that it is all contained within those galaxys.

Past that it follows that our whole galaxy is a living ocean of our neutral neutron pairs which alone are able to generate enough gravity.  It still takes gravitational compression to produce decay events and we have that in spades with every star including our sun.  I do think we are watching neutral neutron pairs decaying into hydrogen.

There are other aspects to think about incuding conglomeration into proto elements in particular, but we need to get used to the idea that we are all breathing this and likely even walking through it or even passing through it with no capacity to detect.

The big take home is the lack of measurable drag,  Does a fish notice drag?

Understand that the so called ether of a century ago has been measured of late.  So yes, something is there and it is not impossibleum.

The point is that we are not able to detect 98% of our surrounding mass.  Of course it is spread out like cotton batten as compared to the matrial we can see and touch and it is out there certainly filling our whole solar system and likely our whole galaxy.

What i am trying to do here is to induce a mental flip in your thinking.  It was hard for me and cannot be any easier for you.,

Reversing Dementia, Parkinsons, Alzheimers, Autism and other neurological issues. Terra Forming Terra

I had an extended conversation today with my daughter on her ongoing spiritual researchs regarding the above medical problems.  Extremely insightful.  In fact, the future for all these has just brightened.

Two big take homes is that those diseases driven by physicological changes can be reversed using a deeply researched new supplement product.  It takes time but we have complete reversal in one autistic child to share and this is indicated for most of the rest as well.

The key problem to over come are microlesions both on the brain surface and also likely within the brain as well.  Simply reversing those micro lesions allows the brain to properly rewire.

This is very good news that can ultimately applied by any practicioner.

The second big take hame has been the complete reversal of dementia in a 93 year old woman.I have never heard of that happening before.  The process required extensive spiritual work with a family member that also engaged the rest of the family as well, but culminated with the womans spirit causing it all to happen. At no time was the patient communicated with because that was impossible.

What we learned is that the cognitive mind can block healing or any form of improvement even when the spirit of that person is standing by.  engaging that spirit remotely allowed resolution and a restoration of an active cognitive mind.  It is quite possible that cognitive minds can shut down almost in pursuit of death.

I now think that all forms of mental illness can be resolved.  It is still in most cases a process and we are even taking on chronic family disorders as well successfully.  Plenty of overlap obviously.  Yet it is early days and we will soon need talented folks to join in with the process.  We will need a community of spiritual practicioners.

From the persective of sharing this message, we understand that reversing dementia will provide best traction.  Everyone has been touched and millions of caregivers want to see a better outcome.  Th...

New study supports social contagion theory for surge in teen girls identifying as transgender Signs of the Times

A new study examining the recent epidemic of teenagers and young adults identifying as transgender has been published and the findings strongly indicate that social contagion is a factor in this new phenomenon. The study by Drs. Michael J. Bailey and Suzanna Diaz, published in the Archives of Sexual Behaviour, examined a survey of 1655 parent reports to further investigate the Rapid Onset Gender Dysphoria (ROGD) hypothesis first put forward by Dr. Lisa Littman in 2018. Activists at the time accused Littman of transphobia and claimed her study was invalid, but evidence to support her hypothesis has only grown in the intervening years and this latest study indicates that, at least for some, ROGD is a disturbing reality. The study is much larger than any attempt that has been made to study this cohort to date, and consists of parent reports from an online survey on the website Parents of ROGD Kids. The authors acknowledge the possible bias of their sample, but state that research on...

Chinese spy balloon gathered intelligence from sensitive U.S. military sites, despite U.S. efforts to block it CLG News

Chinese spy balloon gathered intelligence from sensitive U.S. military sites, despite U.S. efforts to block it --The intelligence China collected was mostly from electronic signals, which can be picked up from weapons systems or include communications from base personnel. | 3 April 2023 | The Chinese spy balloon that flew across the U.S. was able to gather intelligence from several sensitive American military sites, despite the Biden administration's efforts to block it from doing so, according to two current senior U.S. officials and one former senior administration official. China was able to control the balloon so it could make multiple passes over some of the sites (at times flying figure-eight formations) and transmit the information it collected back to Beijing in real time, the three officials said. The intelligence China collected was mostly from electronic signals, which can be picked up from weapons systems or include communications from base personnel, rather than images, the officials said.

Ukraine 2014: The tipping point of terror Signs of the Times

Part I of a CAM investigation into the origins of the Ukraine War: U.S. and NATO involvement in the February 2014 Coup and Maidan Massacre, and their historical antecedents As I write, the world is on the edge of nuclear and humanitarian crises after a year of the Ukraine "proxy" war with Russia. No single event can be seen as the sole cause, but the most dramatic lurch in the story was the "Revolution of Dignity" in Ukraine in November 2013 to February 2014, notably the horrific massacre of protesters and police in Maidan (Independence) Square on February 20, 2014. Without dismissing the large sectors of Ukrainian society with legitimate grievances against corruption and stagnation, this was a bloody coup d'tat, engineered largely by the U.S. over years with parts played by NATO puppets and local proxies. Viktor Yanukovych was elected in internationally recognized fair elections, and new elections were planned to occur within a year. But powerful interests and a large section of...

The End of the Petrodollar? Armstrong Economics

Another oil deal has been initiated without the use of the dollar. The India Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) announced that their latest trade deal with Malaysia would be settled in Indian rupees. This initiative by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) is aimed at facilitating the growth of global trade and to support the interests of the global trading community in Indian Rupees (INR), the formal statement noted.

Indian has benefitted from the Wests distraction from the Ukraine war. The RBI is allowing 18 counties to open Vostro accounts and has been attracting new deals in trade and manufacturing. New Delhi and Moscow have strengthened their relationship as India is not imposing sanctions.  The Indian Commerce Ministry said its five-year plan is to encourage the use of the rupee on an international scale, while also planning to expand exports $2 trillion by 2030. Trading in rupees will also allow India to save on conversion spreads and limit the countrys dependence on the volatile dollar.

The BRICs treaty (Brazil, Russia, India, and China) remains strong and oil giants Saudi Arabia and Iran would like to join the partnership. The Saudis stated at the beginning of the year that they were open to settling trade in currencies other than the USD. There are no issues with discussing how we settle our trade arrangements, whether it is in the US dollar, whether it is the euro, whether it is the Saudi riyal, Al-Jadaan said during Davo...

Would You Welcome a Refugee into Your Home? Armstrong Economics

@henryjamesbarrowclough original sound Henry James Barrowclough

The refugee crisis has become a problem across the European Union. According to the UN Refugee Agency, over 72,000 people applied for asylum in the UK alone, which is double the number of applicants from 2019. However, these are simply the documented cases. Germany received the highest number of applicants among the EU at 127,730, followed by France at 96,510. In fact, Germany, France, Italy, and Spain took in 70% of all first-time applicants in the European Union. Using the UK as an example, refugees are not permitted to work and fully rely on state support. So how does a nation financially support a mass influx of refugees?

The UK provides asylum seekers with free housing and 40.85 per person, per week. That is barely enough to survive, especially with the current rate of inflation, but these people cannot legally work. They often do not speak the language and have trouble assimilating into a vastly different culture. The government is relying on taxpaying citizens to foot the bill, and some recognize that the UK simply does not have the resources to provide welfare to hundreds of thousands of incoming refugees each year.

Social justice warriors are up in arms about this situation. They believe that nations should simply open their borders and everyone can live in a land of rainbows and sunshine with unlimited resources. The video above is a great example of how these social justice warriors are promoting an agenda that they simply do not understand.

Masks Now Embedded in Japanese Culture Armstrong Economics

Comment: You know, mask wearing in japan was officially ended 5 weeks ago. And there has been no change of practice whatsoever. Mask wearing continues at close to 100pct.

Especially among young people mask wearing seems to be here to stay, possibly forever. Somewhere a psychologist will write a book about this phenomenon. Never in my life could I have imagine that the great nation of japan would adopt this practice like people wearing shoes. People driving in their cars on their own are wearing masks for god Sake. Mask wearing is now the primary method of signaling that the wearer is careful, thoughtful and considerate of others.

Reply: The pandemic will go down as the greatest mass social experiment in history. Face masks have become an everyday essential item for most Japanese. Implementing the face mask mandate was seamless in Japan as masks for allergies and disease were already commonplace. Mask sales rose during flu outbreaks years before COVID, especially in high-density cities. Some people wore masks as a fashion accessory or to limit approachability in social interactions. A 2011 poll from News Post Seven found that 30% of those who wore masks did not cite health concerns.

It took three years, but the Japanese government no longer mandates masks. Yet, it has become embedded in the culture. The Japanese culture values respecting ones community. The government has never admitted that masks did not prevent the spread of COVID in a meaningful way. Instead, politicians continue to wear masks at public appearances, and the prime minister is encouraging people to continue wearing masks around vulnerable individuals. We are not forcing anyone to wear it or take it off, Prime Minister Fumio Kishida told reporters after the mandate ended. I think there will be more occasions when I will take my mask off. It is now seen as a respectful gesture for ones neighbor.

Research institute Laibo conducted a study in February to determine why people are choosing to stay masked. Only 5.5% of 561 respondents said they would not wear a mask....

I received quite a few documents responsive to my request, however, the below stuck out. Internally, the IRS will file Sensitive Case Reports (SCRs) when requests come in from certain individuals or organizations that are like to attract media or Congressional attention, or if they consider them a unique of novel issue.

I was amazed to find myself at the top of the short list (albeit, it is alphabetical).

Also in the batch of records, were the SCR guidelines on how those requests are handled, and why certain people or organizations deserve to be on the list.

Undercover, under water, and under France's wannabe dictator with Slobodan Despot Signs of the Times

Pundits, journalists and public intellectuals don't commit suicide for professional reasons. And not since Diogenes, the Cynic of Athens, have they opted to live in a barrel, keep the company of dogs, and urinate on their audience. Even among the most progressive of current journalists, it's difficult for them not to follow, sit, stay, or bark on the leash and command of their masters. . These days the Substack paywall behind their scoops doesn't pay enough to buy dogfood. Seymour Hersh's million for his Nord Stream story is the exception that proves the rule. Patriotism is the safer, better-paying refuge for journalists, even when they risk indictments for being scoundrels like Evan Gershkovich, the first Moscow Times reporter since Catherine Belton to be recognized in Russia for what he has been doing. Looked at closely, the evidence of espionage against Gershkovich turns out to be much more than a bark up the wrong tree, as Washington officials claim, and Russian government...

OPEC+ Pledges Major Oil Output Cuts From May to Year's End CLG News

OPEC+ Pledges Major Oil Output Cuts From May to Year's End | 3 April 2023 | Saudi Arabia and other members of the oil-producing group OPEC+ announced on April 2 that they will be cutting their output by about 1.15 million barrels per day (bpd), a move expected to cause an immediate rise in prices. According to its state news agency, Saudi Arabia will voluntarily cut its oil production by 500,000 bpd from May to the end of 2023. The Middle Eastern kingdom's energy official described the decision as a "precautionary measure" aimed at "supporting the stability of the oil market." Russia, which has already been reducing oil production by 500,000 bpd since March in response to Western countries' price caps designed to curtail the Kremlin's ability to finance its military campaign in Ukraine, also confirmed that it will be extending the original three-month cut by another six months.

Senate Bill 686 Gives WEF Full Control Over America, Gives Citizens 20 Years in Prison for Dissenting CLG News

Senate Bill 686 Gives WEF Full Control Over America, Gives Citizens 20 Years in Prison for Dissenting | 1 April 2023 | Senate Bill 686, also known as the TikTok Ban Bill, gives Americans 20 years in prison for spreading disinformation... The so-called TikTok Ban Bill is a Trojan Horse pretending to be a bill targeting ByteDance, the Chinese owners of TikTok, while it actually targets ordinary Americans who disagree with the Biden administration and the globalist elite agenda [by the World Economic Forum] coming out of Davos. Senate Bill 686, also known as the Restrict Act, is far worse than anything we have seen for decades. This bill has bipartisan support to turn the internet over to an AI spy system to control everything Americans say and do. The RESTRICT Act law would grant the White House, through the Commerce Department, the ability to go after anyone and any company that they they deem a national security risk. This includes anybody spreading any information that goes against the government of the day and the globalist narrative.

Inglorious Inertia: The Albanese Government and Julian Assange Dissident Voice

The sham that is the Assange affair, a scandal of monumental proportions connived in by the AUKUS powers, shows no signs of abating.  Prior to Prime Minister Anthony Albanese assuming office in Australia, he insisted that the matter dealing with the WikiLeaks publisher would be finally resolved.  It had, he asserted, been going on for too long.

Since then, it is very clear, as with all matters regarding US policy, that Australia will, if not agree outright with Washington, adopt a constipated, non-committal position.  Quiet diplomacy is the official line taken by Albanese and Australian Foreign Minister Penny Wong, a mealy-mouthed formulation deserving of contempt.  As Greens Senator David Shoebridge remarks, quiet diplomacy to bring Julian Assange home by the Albanese Government is a policy of nothing.  Not one meeting, phone call or letter sent.

Kellie Tranter, a tireless advocate for Assange, has done sterling work uncovering the nature of that position through Freedom of Information requests over the years.  They tell the story not the whole story of institutionalised prejudgment, perceived rather than actual risks, and complicity through silence.

The story is a resoundingly ugly one.  It features, for instance, stubbornness on the part of US authorities to even disclose the existence of a process seeking Assanges extradition from the UK, to the lack of interest on the part of the Australian government to pursue direct diplomatic and political interventions.

Former Australian Foreign Minister Julie Bishop exemplified that position in signing off on a Ministerial Submission in February 2016 recommending that the Assange case not be resolved; those in Canberra were unable to intervene in the due process of anothers countrys court proceedings or legal matters, and we have full confidence in UK and Swedish judicial systems.  Given the nakedly political nature of the blatant persecution of the WikiLeaks founder, this was a confidence both misplaced and disingenuous.

The same position was adopted by the Australian government to the United Nations Working Group on Arbitrary Detention (WGAD), which found that same month that Assange had been subject to different forms of deprivation of liberty: initial detention in Wandsworth prison which was followed by house arrest and his confinement at the Ecuadorean embassy.  The Working Group further argued that Assanges safety and physical integrity be guaranteed, that his right to freedom of movement be respected, and that he enjoy the full slew of rights guaranteed by the interna...

Adventures with virtual government in Australia (We) can do better

Unless you are dead you will have noticed that we colonial subjects are more and more subject to virtual online government and to digital phone queues, as well as hostage to the big corporation versions. This is a great system for wearing down resistance over unfair charges or bad service, without you being able to argue the point. Warnings about calls being recorded and services withdrawn for abuse and threats are an indication that not everyone enjoys this.

Registering a vehicle

Two weeks ago, when I attempted to pay my car registration, the bank repeatedly rejected the Customer Registration Number that VicRoads had given me.  It was too late to contact VicRoads by phone. I gave up until I would have more time on another day.  Before I knew it, my registration had run out.  It was, however, 9am and VicRoads was open. I rang their phone number, only to get a message that their phone service was overwhelmed by demand and I should use their online services.  This was infuriating because that only left me the option of paying via card, which entailed a fee for the bank. I messaged them my problem, but would have to wait 24 hours even for an email acknowledgement, let alone a response. I rang my bank (Westpac) to ask for help with the rejected Customer Registration Number, in case that was a bank problem. I was informed that Westpac's 'people' were currently answering a lot of calls and I would have a 15 minute wait.  At the end of 15 minutes, Westpac's 'people' cut my phone call off.  Of course, I decided that I could not waste more time with these 'services,' so I went online at VicRoads and paid via card, plus the bank fee.

During these efforts the dog was anxiously pawing me about going for a walk. This further cost of the phone queues added guilt to my tension. There was also a tinge of panic, at the idea that I was at the mercy of VicRoad's rejection of any attempt to communicate with them in my time, rather than theirs, and their constant repulsion of any person to person connection via phone, plus Westpac's rejection of their Customer Reference Number, about which I apparently could...

Rare ELVE photographed during intense lightning storm over Italy Signs of the Times

For a few milliseconds last Monday night, March 27th, an enormous red ring of light appeared in the sky over central Italy. Valter Binotto photographed it from the small town of Possagno in the foothills of the Italian Alps: This is an "ELVE"--short for Emissions of Light and Very Low Frequency Perturbations due to Electromagnetic Pulse Sources. It's a rare species of sprite discovered in 1990 by cameras onboard the space shuttle. Binotto may have just taken the best ever picture of one from the ground. "The ELVE was generated by intense lightning in a storm near Ancona about 285 km south of me," says Binotto. One bolt was so strong, it generated an intense electromagnetic pulse (EMP). The red ring marks the spot where the EMP hit Earth's ionosphere. Normal lightning bolts carry 10 to 30 kilo-ampres of current; this bolt was about 10 times stronger than normal.

Belarus ready to host Russian strategic nuclear weapons - president Signs of the Times

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko mulled the possibility of his nation hosting Russia's strategic nuclear weapons during his annual address to parliament on Friday. The veteran leader's words came as Moscow announced its plans to deploy its tactical nuclear weapons to Belarus. "I and [Russian President Vladimir] Putin can decide and deploy strategic nuclear weapons here, if need be," Lukashenko told lawmakers, adding that the move would show the two nations' readiness to defend their "sovereignty and independence." "We will stop at nothing to protect our nations, our states, our people," the Belarusian leader said, adding that the move would likely serve as an effective deterrent against any hostile moves by the US and its allies. The Belarusian president expressed his hope that strategic nuclear weapons deployment to his country would "sober up all the hawks across the pond for a long time."

South Africa bans arms sales to Poland over concerns they're intended for Ukraine in war on Russia Signs of the Times

The ANC's South Africa has bet firmly on a dark side of history in selecting its partner of choice in the Russification of its foreign and domestic policy. Its choice is not brd on human rights, or democracy, or international law. Instead, it is a choice rooted deeply in the fiction of the past, not the promise of the future. Following another visit by a Russian delegation entertained by International Relations and Cooperation Minister Naledi Pandor, the ANC announced on 1 April that it would undertake a working visit to the United Russia Party from 30 March to 2 April. The party's official notice observed that the United Russia Party, the party of Vladimir Putin, is "a longstanding ally and friend to the ANC". It was, surprisingly, not an April Fool's gag. Scientists have set a new record for the deepest fish ever observed at more than 27,000ft below sea level. A juvenile type of snailfish was filmed swimming at 27,349ft - nearly the same height as Mount Everest - in the Izu-Ogasawara Trench, south of Japan. Lead scientist Professor Alan Jamieson said the snailfish could be at the maximum depth any fish can survive and probably did so because of trench's warm waters. Although the snailfish was not caught to fully identify its species type, similar snailfish were captured higher up at a depth of 26,319ft which set the record for the deepest fish ever caught.

He has previously stated in an email that the hospital is "slightly flexible" when it comes to the age of transgender girls seeking genital surgery," according to a local outlet. The children's hospital clarified to Fox News Digital that it does not provide genital surgeries on kids. A patient needs to live in their new gender for 12 months before the genital surgeries are considered.

Germany could ban ChatGPT - data chief Signs of the Times

Germany could "in principle" block access to OpenAI's ChatGPT chatbot due to privacy concerns, a spokeswoman for the country's data protection commissioner told the Handelsblatt newspaper on Monday. "In principle, a similar procedure is also possible in Germany," Federal Commissioner for Data Protection Ulrich Kelber's spokeswoman told the paper, referring to the Italian ban. Italy's National Authority for Personal Data Protection ordered ChatGPT temporarily taken offline on Friday, as it investigates a suspected leak of user data by the application last month. The Italian regulator also criticized ChatGPT for not notifying users that it collects and stores their information, and for failing to install any filters to verify user age. Kelber's spokeswoman said that there are currently no plans to ban the chatbot in Germany, and that such a decision would fall under the jurisdiction of the country's individual states.

Indicting Trump is the end of US politics Signs of the Times

So, the Democrats and their Davos benefactors have finally done it. They have finally found something they can indict President Donald Trump on. Apparently 34 somethings, which makes for great headlines. The usual suspects have been thrown their chum both TDS patients and MAGAtards. The social media war is now in full swing. And, frankly, it couldn't be more tiresome. A few get why this is so inane but most are focused (or being focused) on the wrong thing, as always. Jonathan Turley has a good rundown of the questionable legality of this case. But, again, while he's not wrong to focus on that and the shady politics, he also misses the larger implications of this indictment. This is a case so legally tenuous that even the Federal Government, famous for being able to convict a ham sandwich, wouldn't touch it with a 10-foot pole. Because indicting Trump for any of these petty things is nothing less than the end of politics and a declaration of civil war.

Google, Facebook, Amazon, Apple, Microsoft, and HP have hired at least 360 DOJ employees, mostly since 2011 and in one example dating back to 2000, according to an analysis by the American Accountability Foundation, a conservative watchdog group. The analysis, which also includes information on DOJ employees who used to work for Big Tech, comes amid the department's antitrust lawsuit against Google and other investigations into tech giants. Tom Jones, president of AAF, told the Washington Examiner: "Normally it is not concerning when individuals move between government and industry because it is usually for professional purposes. Why Americans should be troubled by this revolving door is because it is an ideological relationship where leftists move back and forth between...

Democrats fume after Biden breaks with party on COVID-19 emergency Signs of the Times

House Democrats are lashing out against President Joe Biden after he signaled he would sign a GOP-led bill to end the COVID-19 national emergency despite pressing party lawmakers to oppose the measure when it was introduced earlier this year. The Senate overwhelmingly passed a resolution on Wednesday to lift the national emergency declaration, with dozens of Democrats joining Republicans in backing the measure after being told Biden would not veto the legislation. The decision to change course angered House Democrats, who said Biden's reversal caught them off guard. "It's frustrating," said Rep. Dan Kildee (D-MI). "This is a problem. Major media and the systemic silencing of Palestinians Signs of the Times

Excluding Palestinian voices and firing journalists who want to speak out about Israeli apartheid makes the mainstream media complicit in Israel's "system of silencing." When Palestinians living under Israeli military occupation in the West Bank face Israeli military courts, they have limited rights, trials are conducted in Hebrew (a language that most defendants do not understand), and the testimony of an Israeli soldier is enough to send the defendant to prison. The conviction rate is over 99%. When Palestinians face major media, their lives are often narrated by non-Palestinians. For example, a study by Maha Nassar in 2020 revealed that non-Palestinians wrote 99% of opinion pieces about Palestinians published by the Washington Post over a period of five decades from 1970-2019. The New York Times did not do much better in the same period. Less than 2% of the opinion pieces they published about Palestinians were written by us.

EU nation killed civilians in Iraq - media investigation Signs of the Times

The Netherlands has decided to declassify data on airstrikes in the Middle East after media expos... The Dutch government agreed to release previously classified information about its air sorties in Iraq and Syria, after media exposed as false claims that no civilians were killed in a 2016 strike by the European nation on a building in Mosul, Iraq. A US military assessment had identified the target as a terrorist HQ. The database, released on Thursday, details Dutch F-16 missions between October 2014 and December 2018, which were part of Operation Inherent Resolve, a US-led military campaign against Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS). It disclosed over 2,200 weapon deployments relating to over 600 airstrikes. The Dutch Ministry of Defence also pledged to conduct its own investigation into suspected killings of civilians by anti-IS coalition forces. The move was in reaction to an expos published on the same day by the Dutch public broadcaster NOS, its current affairs program...

Massive U.S. offshore wind farm given permit to harm hundreds of whales and thousands of dolphins Signs of the Times

Can you imagine the outcry if an oil and gas company was given legal permission to injure hundreds of whales and thousands of other marine mammals such as dolphins in pursuit of offshore drilling? For maximum Greta-inspired wailing, the oil field could be located in the middle of territory where the last 300 North Atlantic right whales congregate, and a permit is in place to potentially harm 20 members. In May, Vineyard Wind will begin building a massive offshore wind farm numbering 62 giant turbines, 15 miles off the coast of Massachusetts. Permits to harass sea creatures have been secured - not a squeak of concern from green activists and mainstream media. The Vineyard Wind project is only a small part of the planned industrialisation of America's eastern coastal waters, as the Biden Administration ramps up a commitment to so-called green energy. Of course it is not green, and many now argue that it is becoming increasingly clear that the most valuable economic transfers gained...

An intermediate retrospective on 'Ages of Discord' Signs of the Times

The publisher of the Japanese translation of Ages of Discord (about to be published) requested a foreword, which presented me with a welcome opportunity to review how this book has fared, and to place it within my overall long-term research program attempting to understand the causes of recurrent waves of social and political instability that afflict all complex human societies organized as states. What follows is a lightly edited At that time, my colleagues and I had made substantial strides in understanding past crises the Age of Revolutions during the long nineteenth century, the General Crisis of the seventeenth century, the late Medieval crisis. Our research also reached back in history to the crises of Antiquity. This work was eventually summarized in Secular Cycles, co-authored with Sergey Nefedov and published by Princeton University Press in 2009. But even before the publication of Secular Cycles, as...

"disingenuous" and designed to "punish" church leaders and "terrorise" parents, a group of faith representatives have claimed. practice of attempting to change or suppress an individual's sexuality or gender identity. This can include practices based around religion such as prayer or threats that being gay would result in being sent to hell. The Scottish Government has committed to a full ban on these practices covering both transgender identity and sexual orientation. However, church leaders today wrote to the new minister for equality, Emma Roddick, demanding the plans be dropped, warning it would criminalise Christians for "teaching what Christians have always taught", noting in the letter that this meant teaching that the Bible is clear "the only place for sexual activity is within a lifelong marriage of one man and one woman, and that God has created each...

Fake news curated by the Deep State: Government spin doctors control the news cycle Signs of the Times

"We Americans are the ultimate innocents. We are forever desperate to believe that this time the government is telling us the truth." Former New York Times reporter Sydney Schanberg Let's talk about fake news stories, shall we? There's the garden variety fake news that is not really "news" so much as it is titillating, tabloid-worthy material peddled by anyone with a Twitter account, a Facebook page and an active imagination. These stories run the gamut from the ridiculous and the obviously click-baity to the satirical and politically manipulative. Anyone with an ounce of sense and access to the Internet should be able to ferret out the truth and lies in these stories with some basic research. That these stories flourish is largely owing to the general gullibility, laziness and media illiteracy of the general public, which through its learned compliance rarely questions, challenges or confronts. Then there's the more devious kind of news stories circulated by one of the biggest...

Ultimate marketing: Beverage pretending to be beer runs ad featuring man pretending to be woman Signs of the Times

In a match made in heaven, a beverage that tries to pass itself as beer has hired as its spokesperson a man trying to pass himself off as a woman. "For decades, we've been putting carbonated backwash in a beer can and pretending it's beer," said Anheuser-Busch CEO Brendan Whitworth. "Who better to represent our brand than a guy throwing on a dress and pretending he's a woman?" Long a staple drink of people who hate actual beer, Bud Light felt putting Dylan Mulvaney's face on a can would also attract people who hate actual women. "As a man acting out the most horrendously offensive stereotypes of women, Mulvaney taps into the soul of people who despise real women," said Mr. Whitworth. "As a company dedicated to serving those who detest real beer, the partnership made perfect sense. The new beer can just shouts, 'Come, enjoy this atrocious substitute for the real thing'." While a few in the media questioned the move, so far Bud Light fans have welcomed drinking out of a can featuring...

Is aging a disease? Some experts say it should be treated that way, and pricey longevity clinics agree Fast Company

Age-defying treatments approach the issue at the cellular level with the promise of extending life. But theyre not cheap.

Trying to slow down or reverse the effects of aging is nothing new. Whether its taking a good old-fashioned walk in the park or injecting your furrowed brow with chemicals to freeze your face, attempts to hold onto youth can vary from the everyday to the extreme. And now, aging isnt just viewed as a normal part of life. Its being looked at like a disease. And while the idea is controversial, its found some traction. The World Health Organization (WHO) even came close to recognizing aging as a disease, proposing old age as a diagnosis before ultimately withdrawing it.

The Banking Crisis Gets Worse! $1.7 Trillion In Unrealized Losses Loom As U.S. Banks Rapidly Bleed Deposits BlackListed News

If our banking system cant find a way to turn things around, our entire economy will soon be in a world of hurt.  When banks get into trouble, they start getting really tight with their money.  That means fewer mortgages, fewer commercial real estate loans, fewer auto loans and fewer credit cards being issued.  So it should greatly concern all of us that U.S. banks are bleeding deposits at an absolutely staggering pace right now.  During the week ending March 15th, 98.4 billion dollars was pulled out of U.S. banks.  That was really bad, but we just learned that things got even worse the next week.  During the week ending March 22nd, 126 billion dollars was pulled out of U.S. banks

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) has yet to announce his widely anticipated 2024 presidential bid, but former President Donald Trumps allies are already taking aim at his most prominent potential challenger for the Republican nomination.

The Trump-aligned super PAC Make America Great Again Inc. spent $1.5 million on TV production and advertising targeting DeSantis voting record on Social Security, Medicare and the retirement age during his tenure as a congressman representing Floridas 6th Congressional District from 2013 to 2018

The more you learn about DeSantis, the more you see he doesnt share our values, the ad concludes, slamming DeSantis for previously voting to cut Social Security and Medicare.

Although MAGA Inc. cannot legally coordinate outside spending with the Trump campaign, an Insider article cited in the ad reported Trumps intent to attack DeSantis on these votes.
