CBDC: Technology and a Tyranny Worse than Prison Signs of the Times

In an outstanding piece of political-theoretical writing, titled 'The Threat of Big Other' (with its play on George Orwell's 'Big Brother') Shoshana Zuboff, succinctly addresses the main issues of her book, The Age of Surveillance Capitalism - The Fight for a Human Future at the New Frontier of Power (New York: Public Affairs, Hachette, 2019), explicitly linking it to Orwell's 1984. Significantly, at the time she reminded readers that Orwell's goal with 1984 was to alert British and American societies that democracy is not immune to totalitarianism, and that "Totalitarianism, if not fought against, could triumph anywhere" (Orwell, quoted by Zuboff, p. 16). In other words, people are utterly wrong in their belief that totalitarian control of their actions through mass surveillance (as depicted in 1984, captured in the slogan, "Big Brother is watching you") could only issue from the state, and she does not hesitate to name the source of this threat today (p. 16): For 19 years,...

Minnesota advances 'trans refuge' bill opponents say would strip custody from non-consenting parents Signs of the Times

Minnesota lawmakers on Thursday advanced legislation that would establish the state as a "trans refuge" for children who are seeking transgender medical procedures but who may be denied "gender-affirming care" in other states. In a party-line 68-62 vote, the Minnesota House passed HF 146, which had been introduced by Rep. Leigh Finke of the Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party. Finke is the state's first transgender lawmaker. Democrats supporting the bill say the legislation will protect transgender people, their families and healthcare providers from facing legal repercussions for traveling to Minnesota to obtain cross-sex hormone prescriptions or sex-change procedures. Similar legislation has been introduced in California and other states with Democratic-controlled legislatures, which seek to counter Republican states that have sought to ban transgender procedures for minors. "Gender-affirming care is lifesaving health care," Finke told reporters ahead of debate on the bill....

After 6 people murdered at Christian school, media relentlessly smears prayer, religion CLG News

After 6 people murdered at Christian school, media relentlessly smears prayer, religion | 29 March 2023 | Pastors and conservative leaders weighed in on reaction by journalists and entertainers who have mocked prayer and brought attention to Tennessee's drag show ban amid the Christian elementary school massacre that took six lives Monday. As the nation grapples with the murders of three adults and three children at the Covenant School in Nashville, Tennessee, faith leaders responded to the criticism by journalists, commentators, entertainers and activists who have mocked prayer and blamed conservatives for outlawing drag shows for kids and not guns. Family Research Council President Tony Perkins reiterated that people should still turn to prayer as a way to combat the "spiritual battle" that "is raging for our country and our culture" which "is targeting our children."

Who funds Antifa protests? We all do Signs of the Times

Last week, the city of Philadelphia agreed to pay $9.25 million to 343 left-wing protesters who alleged they suffered "physical and emotional injuries" when police used tear gas and pepper spray to clear them off a major highway in downtown at a Black Lives Matter-style direct action in 2020. Videos recorded at the time showed the mob shut down the highway while vandalizing public property. As a journalist who reports on the militant far-left and its rioters, the question I'm asked most often is, "Who funds them?" Some believe billionaire George Soros is responsible. And they would be partially correct. Soros funds groups that form part of the support apparatus of left-wing militants district attorneys, biased media and legal groups. But his money doesn't directly reach the pockets of militants on the street. Who ends up paying far-left rioters like Antifa? Too often, taxpayers like you and me.

Iranian lawmaker says new hijab policy prohibits physical punishment Signs of the Times

An Iranian parliamentarian says the government's new strategy to enforce the compulsory wearing of the hijab will eliminate physical punishment for women and instead carry financial and administrative penalties that have been approved by the leader of the Islamic republic. Iranian parliament member Hossein Jalali said on March 27 that the new plan includes a financial penalty of up to 30 billion Iranian Rials ($60,000) for those who breach the compulsory hijab law, while additional penalties consist of revoking a person's driver's license, canceling their passport, and prohibiting Internet access for those women who do not adhere to the hijab requirement. Under the new proposals, physical punishment will not be allowed, Jalali said. Violators instead will be punished according to a predetermined table.

Chris Hedges: The Donald Trump Problem MintPress News

Washington DC (Scheerpost) Donald Trump facing four government-run investigations, three criminal and one civil, targeting himself and his business is not being targeted because of his crimes. Nearly every serious crime he is accused of carrying out has been committed by his political rivals. He is being targeted because he is deemed dangerous for his willingness, at least rhetorically, to reject the Washington Consensus regarding neoliberal free-market and free-trade policies, as well as the idea that the U.S. should oversee a global empire. He has not only belittled the ruling ideology, but urged his supporters to attack the apparatus that maintains the duopoly by declaring the 2020 election illegitimate.

The Donald Trump problem is the same as the Richard Nixon problem. When Nixon was forced to resign under the threat of impeachment, it wasnt for his involvement in war crimes and crimes against humanity, nor was it for his illegal use of the CIA and other federal agencies to spy upon, intimidate, harass and destroy radicals, dissidents and activists. Nixon was brought down because he targeted other members of the ruling political and economic establishment. Once Nixon, like Trump, attacked the centers of power, the media was unleashed to expose abuses and illegalities it had previously minimized or ignored.

Members of Nixons re-election campaign illegally bugged the headquarters of the Democratic National Committee in the Watergate office building. They were caught after they broke back into the offices to fix the listening devices. Nixon was implicated in both the pre-election illegality, including spying on political opponents, as well as attempting to use federal agencies to cover up the crime. His administration maintained an enemies list that included well known academics, actors, union leaders, journalists, businessmen and politicians.

Tips for Vaping in Europe While Traveling The Event Chronicle

Traveling to Europe can be a magical experience, with its rich history, culture, and delectable cuisine. However, if youre an avid vaper, you may be concerned about navigating the rules and regulations surrounding vaping in various European countries.

This article aims to provide valuable tips for vaping in Europe while traveling, ensuring you have a safe, enjoyable, and hassle-free experience.

Know the Vaping Regulations in Each Country

Source: 6abc.com

First and foremost, it is crucial to familiarize yourself with the vaping regulations in the countries you plan to visit. While the European Union (EU) has some overarching rules, each member country is free to enforce its own specific regulations.

These can range from age restrictions to limitations on e-cigarette sales and usage in public places. Spend some time researching the local laws before you embark on your trip to avoid any unpleasant surprises.

Pack Your Vaping Gear Wisely

Air travel with vaping gear can be tricky, so its essential to pack your devices and supplies correctly. When flying, store your e-cigarettes and other vaping devices in your carry-on luggage, as they are not allowed in checked baggage due to the lithium-ion batteries they contain.

Make sure your e-liquids are in containers that do not exceed 100 ml (3.4 oz) and place them in a clear plastic bag for security screenings. Additionally, bring extra batteries, chargers, and coils, as finding replacements abroad may be difficult or expensive.

Be Mindful of Public Etiquette

Indonesia's Anak Krakatoa volcano erupts, belches huge ash tower Signs of the Times

The offspring of Indonesia's infamous Krakatoa volcano erupted several times on Tuesday, sending a huge volcanic ash tower some 2,500 meters (8,200 feet) into the sky. Mount Anak Krakatoa, which means Child of Krakatoa, erupted four times, officials said, with the biggest followed by another that sent a column of smoke and ash 1,500 meters above its crater. "This is part of an eruption phase associated with the formation of a new body for the volcano," Oktory Prambada, an official at the Center of Volcanology and Geological Hazard Mitigation, told AFP. In 2018, its crater partly collapsed when a major eruption sent huge chunks of the volcano sliding into the ocean, triggering a tsunami that killed more than 400 people and injured thousands. There were no immediate reports of injuries or damage on Tuesday.

Playing with Financial Fire Dissident Voice

Capitalism, Marx said, is unceasingly prone to crisis. His observation applies as much to financial capital as to industrial capital, as the recent collapse of Silicon Valley Bank and Signature Bank of New York attest. In their pursuit of profits, banks make loans that borrowers cannot repay or back the loans with assets that lose value. Why has this scenario become so deeply rooted in American capitalism and what is the states role in restabilizing the financial system once the house of cards begins to tremble?

This banking crisis seems to have ebbed as federal regulators decided to guarantee all deposits, regardless of the usual FDIC limits, at these two banks. Meanwhile, the US Federal Reserve Board carefully punted on its recent interest rate hike, hoping to locate a sweet spot between a higher anti-inflationary rate and the need to stabilize a quaking banking system with a lower one. It settled for a modest 0.25% increase. These federal actions are band aids on a gushing wound. Before considering steps government should be taking to avert future banking crises, we need to understand why they happen. The foundation of finance capital is loan credit. This means not only that finance capital and all the economic activities that it supports depend on a faith that mounting loans and debts will be repaid, but that the intangible financial assets used to repay the loans will retain enough of their value to keep the system going. In Silicon Valleys case, for example, the long-term low-interest government bonds it used to back up its capital lost their value as the Fed raised interest rates to battle inflation and triggered a run on the bank. Put simply, newer government bonds paid more interest so old ones lost value. Depositors followed the money.

Karl Marx brilliantly explained how contradictions of capitalist production fueled emergent crises. For example, as capital replaced labor with technology, both surplus value and the rate of demand for goods would fall, raising barriers to further accumulation. And when capitalists stop accumulating capital, the system grinds to a horrific halt. Think 1929. Frederick Engels drew on Marxs work to reveal much about the financial aspects of business as usual in Vols 2 & 3 of Capital that he edited, but Marxs work on this score remained under-developed. Analysis of finance capitalism, a capitalism led by banks and financiers, not industrial corporations, awaited its fuller development in the early 20th century. Rudolf Hilferdings path breaking work Finance Capital dissected the case of banker dominance in Imperial Germany. For the American variant, however, there was no more acute guide than Thorstein Veblen. His Theory of Business Enterprise (1904) and Absentee Ownership (1923) remain invaluable guides to our current situation. Together, these books clearly chart the transformation from corporate to financial governance of the capitalist class and...

Russia calls out 'nuclear weapons hypocrisy': US has tactical nukes in 5 non-nuclear weapon states Signs of the Times

The Kremlin has blasted what a Russian official called the United States' "vivid example of hypocrisy" as part of the latest war of words in the wake of President Putin's announcing he has stationed tactical nuclear weapons in neighboring Belarus. Russian Ambassador to the United States Anatoly Antonov on Tuesday called out Washington's "extremely short memory" - given it "has long been systematically destroying the legal basis of bilateral relations in strategic sphere," which is a reference to the collapse of multiple nuclear treaties of late, including 'Open Skies' and the INF Treaty in 2019. New START is also looking to come to an end at the rate things are going. At the start of this week Western officials sounded the alarm over Putin's fresh announcement, which many within NATO countries interpreted as but the latest 'expansionist' threat.

Understanding the international rules based disorder - US-style Signs of the Times

Have you heard of the "International Rules Based Order?" Russia, according to Washington and NATO, is violating those rules (China too) and must be punished. We can't have "rule breakers" mucking up global tranquility can we? Since 1945, the United States has pursued its global interests by building and maintaining various alliances, economic institutions, security organizations, political and liberal norms, and other tools often collectively referred to as the international order. . . . Building an international order has been a formal program of U.S. foreign policy since at least the 1940s and an aspirational goal since the nation's founding. According to its post-World War II architects, the international order protects U.S. values by maintaining an environment in which the ideals of a free and democratic society like that of the United States can flourish. The United States has used both power and idealistic notions of shared interests to underwrite the rules-based order....

"Led Around On The Choke Chain of Life; A Mindless Graduate of The Obedience Training of Mr. Carrot and Mr. Stick." Reflections in a Petri Dish

Dog Poet Transmitting.......

The species of Trannysaurus Bimbonius Phonius appears in human evolution when the female nature is perverted through Materialism and men are transformed into Bitch Portals through the appearance of the virus, Metrosexualis-68, which leaves the human psyche in a constant treadmill state of, Now I owe you one; given that it is one less than 69. It is a time of endless wanting and never getting because of never giving and always taking.

This causes a reversal in the sexual nature of both men and women and brings them on their knees before each other in the temporary religious posture of drive-thru sexual servicing. It is what happens when Materialism becomes Religion and Twerking becomes a Communion ritual. It is what happens when Nature stops being trees and meadows, mountains and streams, and becomes sidewalks and buildings, highways and billboards.

It is what happens when those who made the cities into giant cauldrons of suffering, migrate to the beautiful lands beyond the torments they created and try to claim them for themselves.

When everything that is advertised to the human senses is concerned with the satisfaction of the senses, God the Ineffable is kicked to the curb, and life becomes a turnstile affair of mechanical functionality... devoid of fulfillment... and ruthlessly ritualized into meaningless protocols that MUST... BE... FOLLOWED... or else. Or else what? Or else, kiss my ass, is my response but that appears to be an anomaly.

The State of; do as I say but not as I do, is concerned only with your obeisance and willingness to be led around on The Choke Chain of Life; a mindless graduate of the obedience training of Mr. Carrot and Mr. Stick; Can I have another, Sir! They are most pleased when you come to them of your own accord... seeking a ration of punishment... whether it has been earned or not. Ultimately... you pay them to punish you.

Look at the sewer scum, and slithering... mucoidal bobbleheads who make up The WEF. You remember how in Middle Earth the orcs were perversions of elves? This is the objective of trans-humanism; a godless regimentation of programmed degeneration. It is the idea of taking the evolving perfection of God's creation... and making it a mockery unto itself. It's turning life into a hall of funhouse mirrors embedded with razor blades and then turning out the lights.

Pipe Dream George Monbiot

Pumping water from one messed-up catchment to another solves nothing. We need to fix our problems at source.

By George Monbiot, published in the Guardian 23rd March 2023

Its a classic end-of-pipe solution. Rather than addressing the problem at source, it piles one problem upon another. Yet, like so many disastrous schemes, it is now developing a momentum of its own. The political capital being invested in this project threatens to make it the next HS2.

The south-east of England is permanently threatened by water shortages. A shocking lack of planning and investment by the water companies, alongside their gross failure to reduce demand and conserve supplies, ensure that as drought looms again the stupidest of all solutions begins to look attractive. Rather than properly managing its supplies, Thames Water wants to pipe huge volumes across the country from another catchment: the Severn.

Upstream solutions are never more fitting than when managing water. Theres a clear hierarchy of responsible action. First, you should seek to reduce demand. The UK has one of Europes highest levels of household water consumption, and in England we each use, on average, 141 litres a day. Countries that take water conservation seriously use much less: just over 100 litres in Denmark, 95 in Belgium. Compulsory water metering would bring us closer to the Danish level, but the government has ruled it out.

Worse still, the private abstraction of water from rivers and aquifers in England is effectively unmonitored: a shocking scandal. Amazingly, the businesses abstracting water have no obligation to use meters. The system is entirely self-regulated, which means not regulated at all.

The second obvious step is to reduce leakage. Thames Water has the highest leakage rate in England, losing around 635m litres a day. Again, the government has done almost nothing to ensure this improves. On the contrary, since 2002 the water industry regulator, Ofwat, has allowed water companies not to fix leaks if the cost of doing so is...

The CHURCH Terra Forming Terra

The CHURCH as an institution has existed for two thousand years.  As originally envisaged, it was a community shepherded by a teacher at best and yes what i call the RULE of TWELVE which was quickly set aside.  The teaching aspect has been retained somewhat.

Let us at least identify her as the CHURCH as opposed to various manmade constructs such as temples and corporations and all that.  The CHURCH is first some body of the people who follow the teachings of Yesua or Jesus.  Astonishingly this is now essentially true for the whole global population.  That seems to be an extraordinary claim but do think this through.  No other teaching today diverges from his teachings.  Even if that means ignoring their own scriptures.

The ultimate irony of Communism is that it was a always a Christian herasy which then did things no christian would do, but that set the stage for a succeeding acceptence of the teachings of Yesua.

Today we approach a spiritual life informed by the teachings of Yesua and struggle to go forward from there. All those otgher Gods are literally forgotten.  Even the spiritual life of the gurus of India is an extension of his reported experience however cross pollinated.  My contribution was understanding that the purpose of meditation was to open the individual to the other side enough that they can show him and help him.  This ultimately means mastery of the INNER SUN.  That is what Yesua demonstrated to us all.  No one else has done this.  I was shown the INNER SUN.

He also ascended in full public view. which suggests to me that he also s...

It has taken thirty years to produce both a consensus and the technology as well.  Today we are good enough but also just good enough.  Better batteries will make it better and better.

Again it is simply good enough and we will stop breathing exhaust.

A new study from the University of Southern California that uses real-world data has provided proof that even at low penetration rates, electric vehicle uptake results in better air quality and better health.

The study, which is believed to be the first of its kind, looks at publicly available data for postcodes across California from 2013 to 2019. Previously, most studies looking at the health benefits of EVs have used projections rather than empirical data.

The team of researchers from USCs Keck School of Medicine say the observational data provides...

Zuckerberg Could Not Buy TikTok So He Wants to Ban It Armstrong Economics

China banned Facebook in 2009, instantaneously eliminating 700 million users from the platform. Mark Zuckerberg was unwilling to give up a piece of his social media empire without a fight. Zuckerberg actually learned to speak Mandarin and toured mainland China, delivering speeches in their native tongue and attempting to align himself with the Chinese.

There was a popular app called Musical.ly with content wanted to incorporate that platform into his empire. After 14 months of tough negotiations, ByteDance outbid Zuckerberg for Musical.ly to the tune of $800 million, and that app later merged with the TikTok we have in the US today.

Until recently, the internet in almost every country outside China has been defined by American platforms with strong free expression values. Theres no guarantee these values will win out, Zuckerberg said in a speech at Georgetown University. Biden Mocks School Shooting Victims Armstrong Economics

The POTUS lives in a reality that is far different from ours. His brain has deteriorated to the point that all of his speaking engagements end in utter disaster. Biden delivered the most cold-hearted speech in Nashville following a school shooting that killed six people, including three children. Again, this man received more votes than any president in US history.

Joe Biden said he showed up in Nashville for ice creamnot to comfort the people. The audience roared with laughter as Joe Biden laughed in the faces of fearful parents. My name is Joe Biden. Im Dr. Jill Bidens husband. I eat Jenis ice cream chocolate chip. I came down because I heard there was chocolate chip ice cream, Biden said with a smile. By the way, I have a whole refrigerator full upstairs. You think Im kidding? Im not, Biden told the joyful crowd.

Then Biden used the opportunity to condemn Republicans and gun control. Did Joe Biden laugh off the disgustingly cruel murders because they do not coincide with the woke agenda? The disaster occurred at a private Christian school, and Christians are not a protected class in our society.

Strike two against the woke agenda the shooter identified as transexual. While school shootings are revoltingly common in the US, the murderer is always male. In fact, 98% of mass shootings in general are committed by men. However, if we look specifically at K-12 school shooting cases in our database, the perpetrators were 100% male. Most were current or former students of the schools they targeted, the Violence Project said in a statement. Now politicians are fighting on whether the problem is mental health or gun control. How much hormones like testosterone and medications for mental illness was the transgender Nashville school shooter taking? Everyone can stop blaming guns now. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene posted on Twitter.

Three children never came home from school that day. This tragedy goes far beyond gun control; politicians should not use a disaster to promote an agenda. As far as Biden, the video of his speech is truly unbelievable. All those people laughing in the audience are the lowest level of mindless sheep our nation has to offer.

What will Become Money Post-2032? Armstrong Economics

QUESTION: Hello Martin,
Been reading your writings with keen interest for over 15 years now since while you were incarcerated.
My question is: The way you paint a picture of the past economies going back hundreds and thousands of years through the discovery of coinage hoards is brilliant. How will a future Martin Armstrong from say 500 to 1,000 years from now be able to utilize that methodology of discovering the history of this era when were largely a computer digital transaction society? (Especially if government-planned digital currency takes over?)
Thanks. Jerry S.

ANSWER: I know the crypto-people do not like my view that digital currency is entirely dependent upon the power grid and once money is in any official exchange, it will be subject to government regulation. Just look at Tik Tok. The government wants to ban it...

Sometimes, Getting Back With Your Ex Is the Right Choice Awareness Act

The other day, I was scrolling through my social media, and I saw a reel in which a woman was giving relationship advice to someone who was asking about her ex. What stuck out to me, was that this woman who was giving advice didnt ask any type of probing questions about the situation before shutting the woman down by saying, if hes your ex, then he belongs in your past.

Something about this immediately gave me a gross feeling in my stomach. The vibe this was giving was very close-minded at best. What I wanted to say was, How dare you to assume anything about this persons doubts about breaking it off with their ex. Just because someone is an ex doesnt mean that they should be written off entirely.

We all make mistakes. For example, lets say that Lucy, in the heat of an angry moment, decides to break it off with her ex. She says he doesnt invest enough time in the relationship, so it isnt working, so why even keep trying? Later, she thinks about things and realizes that while he hasnt been attentive lately, he was in the past, and she then begins to realize that he has a lot going on in his life and that maybe she could have been more supportive of him. So, she reaches out, they reconnect, work through the rough patch, and spend their lives together.

This might sound like a fairy tale, but it happens more often than you think.

Now, with that being said, I am NOT saying to cling to someone who is a lost cause. What I am saying, is that we all have difficult moments, and we all make mistakes. So, before you let someone write off your ex entirely, perhaps you should listen to your own gut. Why? Because the choice to break up isnt always the best one, and deep down, you are the only one who knows what is best for you.

Lebanon has The Worlds Highest Nominal Inflation Rate at 139% Blog Baladi

According to World Banks latest Food Security Update report, Lebanon has the highest nominal inflation rate in the world at 139% followed closely by Zimbabwe at 138% and Argentina at 108%. The food inflation rate for each country is based on the latest month from October 2022 to January 2023 for which the food component of the Consumer Price Index (CPI) and overall CPI data are available. Real food inflation is defined as food inflation minus overall inflation.

The whole world has been hit by inflation, but Lebanon is paralyzed politically and economically due to one of the worst economic crisis to hit the country ever since its existence. Despite that, local authorities have yet to start implementing reforms and a solid recovery plan.

6 Bad Kid Behaviors That Should Be Stopped Immediately Awareness Act

Kids are still developing, so they are not going to act great all the time. However, some behaviors call for swift action, otherwise, they could develop into long-term personality traits that are unsavory, to say the least.

The question is, where do you draw the lines? What behaviors are acceptable, normal, or even just par of the course, and which ones are completely intolerable? Well, I am glad you asked. Below, I am going to go over 6 bad kid behaviors that if you notice, you need to put a stop to immediately, before things get out of hand.

1. Entitlement.

We all want to give our kids what they want, but when you give them everything they want, you are entering into dangerous territory. Why? Because when you give your child everything they want, whenever they want it, they are going to grow a sense of entitlement. Unfortunately, this can develop into a far more serious issue later down the line.

2. Bullying.

Bullying should come with a zero-tolerance policy. If you notice your child knocking kids down on the playground and stealing their ball, you need to step in and correct them swiftly. Otherwise, you may end up with a grown person who goes around pushing others around.

3. Lying.

A white lie is one thing, but when your child begins lying about everything, you need to put it to a stop. Call out the behavior immediately and place consequences for the behavior. Be consistent, and NEVER set them up to lie.

4. Disrespect for authority.

We live in a world where there are governing authorities over your child, over you, and everyone else. This is for a reason because in many cases, we need order in this world. If your child does not respect rules or authority, they are going to struggle in this world.

5. Aggression.

Aggression is never a good thing. Yes, we all have our bad days, but if your child is hitting, smacking, talking hatefully, and otherwise behaving aggressively regularly, then something is amiss. Either you address this behavior now, or it will bloom into a very massive issue.

6. Laziness.

Your child needs to have a work ethic because that is how you survive in this world and succeed. If you notice your child is a tad lazy, make work fun. Create a chore list and make your child stick to it. When they do, reward them with small rewards like an allowance or treats. This will reinforce motivation.

10 Signs Of Autism Most People Wouldnt Recognize Awareness Act

When we think of people who fall on the autism spectrum, many of much like Sam from Atypical, or Sheldon from the Big Bang Theory. However, because autism does fall on a spectrum, there are likely a lot of signs that you would never know were signs of autism.

Autism spectrum disorder is a disorder that is typically diagnosed by a team of specialists who have vast experience in the field of autism. So, please, do not go over this list and decide that you are autistic or that your child is. Ultimately, you need to be diagnosed by a professional because, in some capacity, many of us have symptoms that are similar, but not to the extent of someone who is autistic.

With that said, autism is a type of neurodivergent that causes a persons brain to function in ways that are not aligned with someone who would be considered neurotypical.

If you are curious about some of the lesser-known signs of autism, youve come to the right place. Here are 10 signs.

1. Gastrointestinal issues.

While the cause is unknown, the majority of those who have ASD also deal with difficult stomach problems more frequently than their neurotypical counterparts. Some symptoms may include nausea, constipation, chronic diarrhea, and more.

2. Behavioral issues.

Many people with ASD have repetitive behaviors, and in the case of behavioral issues, it may be hard to get them to break bad habits. Oftentimes, medication can be used, but not all of those who fall on the spectrum respond to meds.

3. Difficulty understanding sarcasm or jokes.

Autistic individuals have a hard time reading social cues or reading between the lines. When someone says something to them in a sarcastic tone, they are very likely to take it literally, unless it is explained to them.

4. Deficits in social communication and interaction.

Those who fall on the spectrum may struggle in social interactions for several reasons. In some extreme cases, they may not even be able to speak at all.

5. Odd posture.

From the outside looking in, the way someone with ASD moves or holds themselves may seem odd. Many believe this is due to the differences in their inner ear and vestibular system, which can make it difficult for them to orient themselves. Additionally, they may struggle with fears of movement and move strangely because of that.

6. Stimming.

Stimming is self-stimulatory behavior, which is a set of repetitive movements or sounds that people with ASD may engage in to help themselves calm down. Examples of this may be tugging at their hair, rubbing their arm, or murmuring certain words when under duress.

7. Toe walking.

Some individuals with ASD walk on their toes or the balls of their feet, instead of walking on their entire feet. This is likely tied to the above issues associated with odd posture.

However the plane struck high tension power cables on its way down and crashed over the town of Aramoun. 6 Ways To Build A Stronger Mother-Son Relationship Awareness Act

Research has shown that the closer a mother and son are, the more likely they are to be well-adjusted in life. Not only that, but as mothers, nothing makes us happier than to feel connected with our children.

The relationship your son has with you now will set the stage for how their future relationships will pan out. In many ways, you are teaching your son how to love and how to trust, by loving and trusting in him. The relationship between mother and son may be complex, but not so much that it cannot be hacked and even mastered.

Below, I am going to cover 6 ways to build a stronger relationship with your son.

1. Understand that his preferences will be different than yours.

Males communicate differently than women, and they tend to be more practical, non-verbal, and oriented toward action. With that said, there will be times when you will not see eye to eye and there will be times when you are speaking two different languages. So, seek to understand things from his point of view.

2. Teach him important life skills.

It is extremely important to show your child the skills necessary to be a fully functioning adult. So, teach him how to cook, teach him how to clean, teach him how to care for pets, and teach him how to manage his finances. Do not assume a woman will one day pick up his slack.

3. Spend quality time together doing things he enjoys.

Make sure that you make time for things that he enjoys, not just what you want him to enjoy. For example, you may want him to be a musician or to be an artist, while he may enjoy monster trucks. So, make time for what he enjoys and do it with him!

4. Encourage him to build strong bonds with others.

Help encourage your son to make friends, develop deep bonds with others, and empathize with others. Teach him how to love, by loving him and by connecting with him.

5. Respect him.

The thing about respect is that it is not taught, it is modeled. If you want your son to be a respectable young man, you need to show him respect and treat him like a person.

6. Allow him space and a voice.

Boys need space and independence. Do not crowd him and do not constantly hover over him. When he has an opinion, allow him to say it, and do not trample all over him.

Paris on Verge of Revolution? Armstrong Economics

We have been getting readings in France keeping us up to date in this huge Pension Protest and many see this as rising tension toward Revolution. While politicians dump money into Ukraine with no accountability whatsoever, they turn on their own cities and tighten the economic screws.

There is no question that Socrates has correctly forecast the rise in civil unrest. But this is just the first quarter. Things are going to get much worse. From April on, we are looking at rising volatility in many areas. The mega protest in Paris over the Pension Crisis has not even touched on the war that these people are planning as a distraction from the fiscal mismanagement.

The government will always paint protesters are violent. In the USA, the Democrats called the January 6th protest an insurrection when there were no guns. The prosecutors who are always against the people, want to imprison anyone in the building for 5 years just for being there. In Canada, the government called the truckers terrorists, and again they had no weapons. In Paris the government instructed the police that they ate there to destroy, to injure and to kill to make sure the po...

U.S. Sanctions Notorious Lebanese Drug Dealers Noah Zaaiter and Hassan Daqqou Blog Baladi

The United States Department of the Treasury imposed new sanctions today against six people, four Syrians and two Lebanese, for their role in the production or export of captagon, a dangerous amphetamine. The four Syrians include Assads cousins Samer Kamal Al-Assad and Wassim Badi al-Assad as well as Walid Qaddour a Syrian businessman and a former commander of the rebel Free Syrian Army. The two Lebanese sanctioned are Noah Zaaiter and Hassan Daqqou who work closely with Hezbollah and the Assad regime.

Both Zaaiter and Daqqou are wanted by the Lebanese authorities form multiple charges. I am not sure if this has anything to do with the latest Saudi-Iranian talks, but I hope this is the start of a serious crackdown on all Captagon activities.

A swathe of independent observers, such as American economics professor Jeffrey Sachs and former CIA analyst Ray McGovern, have concurred with the investigative report published on February 8 by renowned journalist Seymour Hersh which claims that U.S. President Joe Biden and his senior White House staff ordered the Pentagon to take out the natural gas pipeline that runs along the Baltic Sea bed from Russia to Germany....

US Air Force admits ARRW hypersonic missile test failed Signs of the Times

The U.S. Air Force's March 13 test of a hypersonic weapon was "not a success," the service secretary told lawmakers Tuesday. The service, he said, is "more committed to HACM [the Hypersonic Attack Cruise Missile, the service's other major hypersonic weapon program] at this point in time than we are to ARRW." The ARRW effort "has struggled a little bit in its testing program," Kendall told the House Appropriations Committee's defense panel during a hearing on the fiscal 2024 budget request. He said an ultimate decision on whether to continue with the program could come as part of the FY25 budget process next year following a study of the failed March test and possibly two more test launches.

The shooter, a former student who identified as transgender, killed three 9-year-old students and three teachers in the horrific attack, before being killed by police... The GOP candidate highlighted the Education Department spending taxpayer dollars on what he called "gender ideology," even as school shootings are becoming more frequent in recent years. "We spend $80BN+ per year through the U.S. Dept of Education that helps fund radical gender ideology to create psychopaths, yet dont protect kids in our schools from being killed by them. The Black Vault has been denied access to budgetary materials and financial records relating to the Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAP) Task Force. The denial comes as a response to a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) case filed by The Black Vault, citing FOIA exemptions (b)(1) and (b)(5) as reasons for non-disclosure.

The UAP Task Force was a government initiative formed to investigate and evaluate reports of unidentified aerial phenomena, commonly known as UFOs. The Task Force was tasked with assessing potential threats to national security, and its findings generated significant...

Mathematicians have finally discovered an elusive 'einstein' tile Signs of the Times

A 13-sided shape called 'the hat' forms a pattern that never repeats A 13-sided shape known as "the hat" has mathematicians tipping their caps. It's the first true example of an "einstein," a single shape that forms a special tiling of a plane: Like bathroom floor tile, it can cover an entire surface with no gaps or overlaps but only with a pattern that never repeats. "Everybody is astonished and is delighted, both," says mathematician Marjorie Senechal of Smith College in Northampton, Mass., who was not involved with the discovery. Mathematicians had been searching for such a shape for half a century. "It wasn't even clear that such a thing could exist," Senechal says. Although the name "einstein" conjures up the iconic physicist, it comes from the German ein Stein, meaning "one stone," referring to the single tile. The einstein sits in a weird purgatory between order and disorder. Though the tiles fit neatly together and can cover an infinite plane, they are aperiodic, meaning...

Market Talk March 28, 2023 Armstrong Economics

ASIA:

The US and Japan have agreed to not impose export duties on critical minerals needed for electric vehicle batteries. The agreement is aimed at reinforcing supply chains and reducing dependence on China, which currently dominates the sector. The US law requires 40% of critical minerals in eligible EV batteries to be extracted from countries with free-trade agreements, rising to 80% in 2027, which would have excluded the EU and Japan. Rare earth elements and minerals like lithium are crucial for clean energy, but the US is expected to face supply gaps to meet demand for EV

The EU is losing relevance in the emerging new world Signs of the Times

Russia and China are shaping global politics while the US dominates its partners across the Atlantic, leaving European countries as mere passengers... The meeting of Russian president Vladimir Putin and his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping in Moscow last week was met with predictable accusations in Western circles that Moscow was becoming "subservient" or even a "vassal" of Beijing. MEP Guy Verhofstadt, a Euro-fantasist and former prime minister of Belgium, jeered on Twitter, "Putin's appalling legacy now includes turning Russia more and more into a Chinese vassal state," oblivious to the irony of his own words. As the United States took the lead in denouncing China's peace plan for the Ukraine conflict, publicly setting out the conditions on which it should end, the European Union was nowhere to be seen, or at least had nothing original to say. This makes Verhofstadt's comments a damning display of lacking self-awareness. Russia and China are setting out their vision for a new...

US threatens Mexico with tariffs in attempt to force privatization of its energy sector Signs of the Times

Washington will reportedly demand that Mexico open its energy markets or face a formal dispute and possible tariffs... President Joe Biden's administration has reportedly opted to escalate a trade dispute with Mexico, making plans to demand that its neighbor to the south opens up its power and oil markets to US suppliers or face an arbitration and the threat of retaliatory tariffs. The demand will be made in the coming weeks through an "act now or else" notice to Mexico City from US trade officials, Reuters reported on Monday, citing unidentified people familiar with the discussions. At issue is Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador's decision to roll back reforms aimed at opening Mexican energy markets to outside competitors - allegedly in violation of the 2018 US-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USCMA), a trade deal that requires the countries to curtail protections of state-owned enterprises. The US and Canada last July requested settlement talks with Mexico on the energy...

Ukraine being obliterated - Trump Signs of the Times

Donald Trump has once again claimed that he would need just 24 hours to negotiate peace in Ukraine. Speaking to Fox News, the former US president warned of a possible nuclear escalation and urged the hostilities to be ceased immediately. "The key to that is that war has to stop now, because Ukraine is being obliterated," Trump told host Sean Hannity in an interview on Monday. Trump compared footage from the conflict to "hundreds of these demolition sites" that he used to see as part of his construction business. "There was not a building standing," the former US leader explained. Trump repeated his assertion that he could reach a peace deal in Ukraine within 24 hours if elected back into office. However, he declined to explain his strategy, claiming it would be "very easy" but would not work if revealed prematurely. Trump suggested that the US presidential election might not even happen next year, arguing it was "possible we'd be in World War III with these idiots that are doing...

Netanyahu fires Minister of Defense after he pressed for halting judicial overhaul Signs of the Times

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu fired his Minister of Defense Yoav Gallant Sunday after he pressed for a pause on plans for a judicial overhaul. Netanyahu's office announced it would "dismiss" Gallant from his post but did not immediately specify if he will receive a new position elsewhere in the administration. Gallant called for halting Netanyahu's controversial judicial reform plans due to widespread unease within the military. Gallant said, per the Times of Israel: "I hear their voices, and I am worried. The growing rift in our society is penetrating the IDF and security agencies. This poses a clear, immediate, and tangible threat to the security of the state. I will not lend my hand to this." Under the plan championed by Netanyahu, the Knesset, Israel's parliament, would gain the ability to overrule Supreme Court rulings. Netanyahu argued the reforms were necessary to streamline the legislative process and stave off judicial overreach. The proposal has sparked...

Burying key evidence, new OPCW report covers up Douma's unsolved deaths Signs of the Times

After censoring experts who found that the victims in Douma could not have been killed by chlorine gas, the OPCW's new IIT report continues the cover-up and baselessly accuses the Syrian government. On April 7th 2018, gruesome images of an alleged chemical attack emerged from the Syrian town of Douma. Dozens of dead bodies, including children and infants, appeared heaped in piles inside of an apartment building. Others lay on the street in front as if trying to escape deadly gas. Strikingly, many of the victims displayed copious foam oozing from the mouth and nose. Along with their proximity to a clear escape route, these visible symptoms suggested that something extraordinarily poisonous had killed them instantly. US officials immediately promoted the allegations of insurgent-tied groups that the Syrian army had killed the victims with chlorine gas or the nerve agent sarin, or even a combination of both. One week later, the US, along with the UK and France, bombed Syria in...

US democracy 'a facade' - Russian security chief Signs of the Times

Washington was captured by corporate interests and is pushing their agenda on the world stage, Nikolay Patrushev has said... The US is not really a democracy, nor does it seek to promote democracy in its relations with other nations, contrary to Washington's claims, senior Russian security official Nikolay Patrushev has said. He made the remarks while commenting on the upcoming 'Summit for Democracy' hosted by the US government. Patrushev, who is the secretary of the Russian Security Council, described the US economy as "dependent on corruption and lobbying connections going to the White House and Capitol Hill." Corporate interests have hijacked the levers of political power in the US and use the country's international clout to pursue their own agenda, he said in an interview with Rossiyskaya Gazeta newspaper, to be published in full later today. "Their democracy is a pretty facade for the political system, which serves to hide the neglect of the rights of ordinary Americans."...

Zelensky disappointed to learn Orlando Bloom not actually a fearsome elf warrior Signs of the Times

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky reportedly had difficulty concealing his disappointment today after meeting Orlando Bloom and finding out he is not actually a fearsome elf warrior. "This is not what I expected," Zelensky was overheard telling his aides when the actor arrived. "I told you I wanted to meet Legolas. Where are the pointy ears? The long, flowing blonde hair? He is not even carrying a bow and arrows! I wanted the fierce elven warrior to inflict heavy casualties on the Russian army, not this effeminate man with whispy facial hair! I was at least hoping to have access to some mithril to armor my soldiers!" The Lord of the Rings star became the latest in many Hollywood entertainers who have made public relations pilgrimages to pay homage to the Ukrainian President. "It is truly a great honor to meet the great President Zelesnky," Bloom said to reporters who were brought in to document the meeting. "I came here to show respect and support for Ukraine and also to...

Brightest gamma-ray burst ever detected defies explanation Signs of the Times

Scientists are taking a closer look at the afterglow left by the brightest gamma-ray burst ever recorded, and what they see doesn't fit with any theoretical models. The brightest gamma-ray burst ever detected is revealing new mysteries as scientists study it in greater detail. In two new papers - one published today in The Astrophysical Journal Letters, and another published on the preprint server arXiv and submitted for publication in the journal Nature Astronomy - astronomers found that the evolution of the radio waves released by an enormous stellar explosion seen in 2022 was slower than models predicted, raising questions about how the release of energy evolves during ultra-powerful gamma-ray bursts. "[I]t is very difficult for existing models to replicate the slow evolution of the energy peaks that we observed," James Leung, a doctoral student at the University of Sydney who co-authored the Nature Astronomy paper, said in a statement. "This means we have to refine and develop...

US-led economic alliance - Doing the 'Humpty Dumpty' blindfolded Signs of the Times

There's a lot more to the news that India-based defense company BrahMos Aerospace will soon close a deal to sell Indonesia supersonic cruise missiles worth at least $200 million than meets the eye. The India-Russia joint venture via BrahMos could have lasting geopolitical effects in Southeast Asia and on the current American hegemony. Another India-Russia joint venture was just clinched last year when the Philippines ordered $375 million in shore-based anti-ship missiles. This deal was part of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi's ambition to triple India's defense exports. And for Russia, every partnership sealed in Asia is a thorn in the side of the so-called western alliance. The Philippines have indicated their deal is a kind of "icebreaker" for potential further corporations. And the India component of the negotiations going on is both vital, and brilliant from the Russian standpoint. The United States has been busy trying to torpedo direct Russian sales to the Philippines and...

FBI File: The FBI Story A Report to the People (Book), by Don Whitehead The Black Vault

Here are the FBI files on the book by Don Whitehead entitled, The FBI Story A Report to the People. Here is a synopsis of the book:

What is the FBI? How did it come into being? What has it accomplished? What are its powers? Above all, what does the mere fact of its existence mean to Every Citizen of the United States? This book, written with the cooperation of J. Edgar Hoover and FBI Personnel will answer these questions once and for all. THE FBI STORY, written by one of Americas top reporters, Don Whitehead, and with a Foreword by J. Edgar Hoover, takes you behind the scenes to reveal the record of Americas crusade against crime and subversion. THE FBI STORY names names, places and events. Youll read about cases which have made todays headlines as well as about the celebrated cases and notorious events which made yesterdays. Youll read about the Black Tom explosion and other acts of sabotage which were the prelude to Americas entrance into World War I. You will find the case histories of the Wall Street Explosion and Palmers Raids; the Harding Era and Gaston Means. The gangsters rise to power in the roaring twenties and the lady in red, Pretty Ana Cumpanas, who betrayed John Dillinger, and Al Capone. Here too are the Lindbergh Kidnapping, the Kansas City Massacre and many other cases which placed the FBI in the forefront of the publics imagination. THE FBI STORY is the story too of Pearl Harbor, the capture of the Japanese espionage messages, the German saboteurs invasion of the United States and their capture, and other behind the scenes dramas of World War II. The book tells of the FBIs secret operations in South and Central America and the experiences of its Special Intelligence Service (SIS). How the FBI tricked the Germans through double agent radio stations is a stranger than fiction story. Youll read of the FBIs role in combating postwar crime as Don Whitehead reports on the kidnap murder of little Bobby Greenlease and the murder of a mother by her son high over a Colorado beet field when a plane fell carrying passengers and crew to their deaths. The fight against Communism in the United States, Smith Act prosecutions and the gathering of evidence which made these prosecutions possible are all portrayed. Also related are the cases of Hiss and Klaus Fuchs and the theft of the atomic secrets and the Rosenberg and Greenglass cases, which are revealed in detail. The history of the FBI in reality represents the peoples efforts to achieve government by law. THE FBI STORY, then, is the story of America itself and the struggles to attain this ideal.

South Australia's wildlife flourishing after floods along parts of the river Murray floodplain for the first time in over 60 years Signs of the Times

Widespread environmental benefits are becoming increasingly evident after recent flooding down the Murray in South Australia with fish, birds and other wildlife flourishing. High flows which peaked across December and January provided much-needed water to some parts of the river and its floodplain for the first time in more than 60 years. That's resulted in a surge in the number of wood ducks and black swans at Chowilla near the NSW border, with surveys also finding large numbers of other water and woodland birds making the most of the flood-enriched breeding and feeding habitats. Pacific black ducks and nankeen night herons have also been observed in numbers with groups of young emerging after the flood.

Roger Waters V. the Machine: Inside the Pink Floyd Frontmans Battle For Free Speech in Germany MintPress News

Roger Waters is facing pushback from Germany. City authorities have canceled his upcoming concert over claims the Pink Floyd frontman is anti-Semitic. Yet activists say his experience is not an isolated incident when it comes to support for Palestine.

In February, Frankfurts City Council canceled Waterss concert scheduled for May 28, stating in a press release that the musician is considered one of the most widely spread anti-Semites in the world. City officials cited Waters advocacy for a cultural boycott of Israel as one of the reasons for his alleged anti-Semitism. When reached for comment, Frankfurt City Council referred MintPress News to its aforementioned press release.

Waters responded by pursuing legal action against the city for his event cancellation. My lawyers are taking steps to ensure that my concerts in Munich and Frankfurt in May 2023 take place as contracted, Waters said.

Munich had filed a motion to cancel his upcoming concert but voted against the measure on March 22. In a statement to MintPress News, the city council said canceling Waters concert would be illegal and would violate supreme court decisions. A similar motion was tabled in Cologne.

Waters also addressed the anti-Semitism allegations and his views on Israel. In a statement, Waters said:

I want to state for the record and once and for all that I am not and never have been antisemitic and nothing that anyone can say or publish will alter that. My well-publicized views relate entirely to the policies and actions of the Israeli government and not with the peoples of Israel.

In addition to Waters legal threats, more than 20,000 artists, writers, and public figures have signed a petition demanding Waters perform in Frankfurt.

The officials vilifying Waters are engaging in a dangerous campaign that purposely conflates criticism of Israels illegal and unjust policies with antisemitism, the petition reads. This conflation perpetuates the antisemitic trope which presents Jews as a monolith who blindly support Israel.

While we have all heard about inflation, the new term shrinkflation has been gaining a lot of traction over the last couple of years. The term implies that several globally popular food brands have been reducing the size or quantity of their products, without making any significant change in their prices. Xis Chilling Remarks: What the New Multipolar World Means for the Middle East and Africa MintPress News

The final exchange, caught on camera between visiting Chinese President Xi Jinping and his Russian host and counterpart, Vladimir Putin, sums up the current geopolitical conflict, still in its nascent stages, between the United States and its Western allies on the one hand, and Russia, China and their allies, on the other.

Xi was leaving the Kremlin following a three-day visit that can only be described as historic. Change is coming that hasnt happened in 100 years, and we are driving this change together, Xi said while clasping Putins hand.

I agree, Putin replied while holding Xis arm. Please take care, dear friend, he added.

In no time, social media exploded by sharing that scene repeatedly. Corporate western media analysts went into overdrive, trying to understand what these few words meant.

Is that part of the coming change that they will drive together? Ian Williamson raised the question in the Spectator. Though he did not offer a straight answer, he alluded to one: It is a chilling prospect for which the west needs to be prepared.

Xis statement was, of course, uttered by design. It means that the strong Chinese-Russian ties, and possible future unity, are not an outcome of immediate geopolitical interests resulting from the Ukraine war or a response to US provocations in Taiwan. Even before the Ukraine war commenced in February 2022, much evidence pointed to the fact that Russia and Chinas goal was hardly temporary or impulsive. Indeed, it runs deep.

The very language of multipolarity has defined both countries discourse for years, a discourse that was inspired mainly by the two countries displeasure with US militarism from the Middle East to Southeast Asia, their frustration with Washingtons bullying tactics whenever a disagreement arises, be it in trade or border demarcations; the punitive language; the constant threats; the military expansion of NATO and much more.

One month before the war, I argued with my co-writer, Romana Rubeo, that Russia and China might be at the cusp of unity. That conclusion was drawn based on a simple discourse analysis of the official language emanating from both capitals and the actual deepening of relations.

At the time, we wrote:

Some kind of an alliance is already forming between China and Russia. The fact that the Chinese people are taking note of this and are supporting their governments drive towards greater integration politica...

Exploring the Best Health Insurance Plans for Different Life Stages The Event Chronicle

No matter how old you are, health must always come first. But using a one-size-fits-all approach is not always the right solution for your medical needs. With the rising number of health ailments on a global scale, it is becoming more important than ever to come up with the right ways to mitigate health issues. Thankfully, the best health insurance can provide a comprehensive helping hand.

From your young age to the time you become a senior citizen, your medical needs can elevate drastically. As the changes in your strength, body, and mind start to accelerate, this need turns dire. Lets see how the best health insurance plan can provide cover for all these stages of life.

1. At A Tender Age

Source: expatica.com

At a young age, you may not have many responsibilities to cater to. You are probably single, dependent on your parents, and suffering from minimal disabilities. At this point, it is wise to start creating a layer of protection for when you may need it the most. Opting for medical insurance at this point can be better than doing it later, as the prices may rise due to inflation in the long run.

2. Upon Getting Married

Marriage makes two of you. So, your responsibility does not end with your own medical needs. Your spouses well-being also becomes a priority for you. At this point, you must also opt for another health insurance to provide a layer of protection around your spouse. Add-ons for maternity can also be wise to pick before time. Doing this will mean lesser medical complications during pregnancy or any other form of illness that require immediate medical attention.

3. On Having Children

'As a gay teacher, I tried to help LGBT students feel included - only for them to turn on me when I failed to endorse their gender ideology' Signs of the Times

One chilly Monday morning I spotted, among the throng of pupils flooding into the playground, one of our male students standing alone, wearing a skirt. This quiet, gentle teenager had few friends and was known to teachers at the secondary school where I taught because he had been suffering from anorexia. I remember looking at this painfully thin, awkward 14-year-old in his ill-fitting school skirt and thinking: 'You're not a girl.'

'I thought I would be crushed to death' - Kellie-Jay Keen on her harrowing encounter with trans activists in New Zealand Signs of the Times

The distressing footage from women's rights campaigner Kelly-Jay Keen's violent encounter with trans activists in Auckland has made one thing clear beyond doubt: the trans movement has a serious misogyny problem. At the weekend, Keen was pelted with tomato juice, jeered at and hounded by a crushing mob of trans activists. In the run-up to the event, she was demonised in the Australian and New Zealand media, who portrayed her as a crypto-Nazi. Attempts were made to have her visa revoked and to shut down her Let Women Speak tour. All this, because Keen campaigns for women's rights, because she does not mince her words about the need for single-sex spaces, and because she lends a platform to ordinary women who share her concerns about trans-rights activism. Keen joined Brendan O'Neill for the latest episode of The Brendan O'Neill Show to discuss her harrowing experience in Auckland. What follows is an edited extract from their conversation. Getting to Know the Benefits of the Fairspin Casino Bonus The Event Chronicle

The Fairspin Casino Bonus is a great way to have more fun playing at an online casino. The bonus rewards players with extra money, free spins, and other benefits that can be used to play more games, increase winnings, and even earn loyalty points. The Fairspin Casino Bonus offers a great opportunity to turn a small deposit into a large sum of money. Players can use their bonus funds to play a variety of slots, table games and even live dealer games. The bonus also provides players with an extra level of security, ensuring that their money and personal information are kept safe. With the bonus, players can also earn loyalty points for exclusive prizes.

At most legitimate online casinos, Fairspin Casino itself, as practiced all over the world, has three main types of initial bonuses for new serious players: deposit bonuses, free spins and no deposit bonuses. For example, with a 100% deposit bonus, your game balance will double the amount of your deposit. Depending on the size of your deposit, the severity may require a different amount of free spins for different types of slots. Free spins can also be won as the final bonus gr. Many online casinos win free spins to get more reels, and this type of bonus allows you to pay out big money immediately after registering with the site. These can be free spins, as well as cashless chips in some card games, and the ability to check if you see slots in the current demo, but now. The online casino at https://fairspin.io/cs/promo-bonus also offers cashback on bets to its customers, which allows you to accumulate pennies and get win after win. The main condition for using bonuses is a wager, which guarantees the principle of fair play. Translated from English, wager means bet or investment, and in the case of an online casino, the wager is the number of bets that must be played before you can withdraw money from the bonus account. If the bet size is x20, this means that in order to withdraw winnings from the bonus, the player must wager an amount that is 20 times the original bonus amount. The main goal of wagering is to attract players and give them the opportunity to play this option. Great for newbies who are interested in starting a real game, but at the same time do not want to spend their money. In the past, some online casinos allowed bonuses to be withdrawn without a wager or minimum wager. This was taken advantage of by bonus hunters who registered on various platforms just to get bonuses. The right amount of wager guarantees fair play for both the player and the casino. If the casinos requirements are too strict, its easier for the player to refuse the bonuses and use their own money.

Climate hysteria and woke gobbledegook are becoming inseparable Signs of the Times

One of Britain's leading climate 'experts', Professor Kevin Anderson, has provided a valuable insight into the increasingly bizarre demands that surround the promotion of the collectivist Net Zero political project. Writing in the Conversation, he argues for Net Zero within 12 years, complete with a refit of U.K. housing stock, a withdrawal of all combustion engine cars in favour of expanded public transport, electrification of industry, the roll out of 'zero-carbon' energy, and the banning of all fossil fuel production. To achieve his aims, Anderson suggests mobilisation on the scale of the post-war European reconstruction Marshall Plan. Others might suggest his crackpot schemes will leave the country facing a similar scale of destruction, ruin and poverty to that caused by the Luftwaffe. Anderson is currently a Professor of Energy and Climate Change at the University of Manchester and he has plenty of form when it comes to extremist claims and calls for widespread rationing. As...

The Rise of Vocational Education: A Look at the Latest Trends and Innovations The Event Chronicle

Vocational education has been on the rise in recent years, as the job market has become increasingly competitive and employers are looking for workers with specialized skills. It refers to training that prepares individuals for specific trades or careers, such as electricians, plumbers, carpenters, and computer technicians. This type of education is often hands-on and practical, providing students with the skills they need to succeed in their chosen field. In this article, we will take a look at the latest trends and innovations in vocational education.

1. Use of Technology

Source: techrepublic.com

One of the biggest trends in vocational education is the use of technology. As technology continues to advance, so do the skills required to operate and maintain it. Many vocational education programs are now incorporating training in areas such as coding, cybersecurity, and robotics. These skills are in high demand, and graduates of vocational programs that offer training in these areas are often highly sought after by employers.
Another trend is the focus on soft skills. In addition to technical skills, employers are also looking for workers who possess strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. Vocational education programs are now incorporating training in these areas, recognizing that they are just as important as technical skills in the workplace. This is especially true in industries such as healthcare and customer service, where workers must interact with clients and patients on a regular basis.

"Diversity and inclusion "(D&I) comprise a new business mantra. Programs and language based on the normalization of body dissociation are being corporately cultivated worldwide. The programs being instituted appeal to our emotions, to entice us to believe that companies care about people and want to create one big happy, diverse work-family, which includes marginalized sectors of society - most notably, those who imagine they have a sex that is not male or female. The overlooked are finally being given a place at the table! Or are they? The new, new liberal left in America, the left that has emerged out of a traditional new left, which cared about the working class, blacks, and women's rights, who yearned for a more...

Are coincidences real? Terra Forming Terra

They are not real at all.  They are instead direct evidence of intervention from the other side which certainly has skin in the game and outcome.

Of course we also have scientist claiming that life chemistry also happens by coincidence..  The slightest investigation makes all that absurd.  just like these claim stories.

Over and over again, the right person arrives to intervene in an emergency.  Just how many right people were avbailable?  We even have a culture accepting the idea of passing it on.  Wow.

In Cods Shadow, Redfish Rise Terra Forming Terra

Managing this resource is going to be problematic as usual.  What i would like to see attempted because we now have the navigation tools is to see point to point harvesting tracks implimented creating a natural refuge between tracks.  This allows surplus stocks to leave the refuges and reoccupy the fished strips.  This should work with ground fish and lobsters.

Not so much with anything else where schools matter a lot..

At least we now have a real recovery stock emerging and i hope this also bodes well for the cod stocks.  Or even good management.

The harvest of redfish, an Atlantic groundfish, was closed in 1995, just a few years after the closure of the northern cod fishery. The collapse of both fisheries decimated coastal communities. While the cod are yet to recover, redfish populations are booming. Photo by RLS Photo/Shutterstock

Stuck with the soul Terra Forming Terra

Once again we have a detailed opinion from an individual who specifically ignores all possible and plausible evidence to the contrary.  Do recall that all biological scientists to this day with a couple of brave exceptions, choose to ignore all the empirical evidence supporting the living presense of the Sasquatch.  We now have approximately 20,000 eye witness encounters and a few examples of direct communication as well.  Just when is science going to stop denial?

Let me make a powerful asser5tion.  The universe is mathematical in its nature and this means an act of creation and from that a natural expansion filling SPACE and TIME at the speed of light.  Which is what we see in our telescopes.

Mathematically we can imagine the SPACE TI(ME pendulum and fill SPACE with successors by way of geometric decay which also produces ribbons of photonic energy.

More important though, we can percieve three potential stages of matter.  The first assemblage is the production of Neutral Neutrino pairs.  Good luck on ever measuing those.  We see the high speed free neutrinos.  The second assembage is the neutral electron pair.    Same problem.  Yet both allow all forms of messy agglomeration and the potential of decay into something we might see.  This happens to be a lot of archetecture to form the 'MATRIX' and the natural emergence of logic machines able to make things happen.  Just as obvioulsy in terms of scale, it is not possible for us to see any of this.

The third stage is the Neutral Neutron Pair which we can potentially detect directly and have detected by indirdct means.  Such a pair can decay into a hydrogen atom and the larger agglomerations can potentially decay into the range of elements we know so well.

Then there is life.  It is only possibhle in the third stage of matter if there exists a working super computer able to operate a living cell.  Prove otherwise.  The sheer numbers make any form of random decission making absurd.  This means that the best model for a living cell is a complex bag of useful chemical all operated by a signalling super computer.  We can almost make this work ourselves.

'There's nothing left': Deep South tornadoes kill 26 --The tornado received a preliminary EF-4 rating, the National Weather Service office in Jackson said late Saturday in a tweet. | 25 March 2023 | Rescuers raced Saturday to search for survivors and help hundreds of people left homeless after a powerful tornado cut a devastating path through Mississippi, killing at least 25 people, injuring dozens, and flattening entire blocks as it carved a path of destruction for more than an hour. One person was killed in Alabama. The tornado devastated a swath of the Mississippi Delta town of Rolling Fork, reducing homes to piles of rubble, flipping cars on their sides and toppling the town's water tower. Residents hunkered down in bath tubs and hallways during Friday night's storm and later broke into a John Deere store that they converted into a triage center for the wounded. "Theres nothing left," said Wonder Bolden, holding her granddaughter, Journey, while standing outside the remnants of her mothers now-leveled mobile home in Rolling Fork. Richland County Emergency Manager Brett Lambrecht said that 31 cars of the 70-car train left the track, some of which were carrying liquid asphalt. Liquid asphalt is a flammable petroleum-based product, but Lambrecht said that cold temperatures will allow the material to solidify and reduce the chance of fire.

I always had a complicated relationship with technology. I would like it, then realize I like it too much, and then try to disentangle from it. I went through several cycles of this. As a young girl in the 1970s, I spent far too much time playing video games. Then in the 1990s, I spent every spare minute during one college semester playing a dungeon treasure hunt computer game. I stopped only after I convinced a friend to place a password on the game to prevent my access. Then came email. I simply could not stop checking it. In my rst apartment in New York City as a graduate student, I endlessly connected and disconnected my modem to check my emails. But for me and for many others, 2009 was the year when things started changing. This was the year that smartphones and Facebook became popular. Suddenly, we could text, email, access the internet, and engage in social interactions practically anywhere and anytime.

Water Contamination Is America Still a First-World Nation? Armstrong Economics

@johnniemac_first4848Breaking: The City of Philadelphia is recommending that residents use bottled water for drinking or cooking after a chemical spill into the Delaware River in Bucks County on Friday night. Contaminants have not been found in our system at this time, city officials said, however, testing continues. original sound Phillyfirst48

America is deteriorating so quickly that its hard to consider it a first-world nation due to the lack of clean drinking water. There was a massive chemical spill in Bristol, PA, on Friday. Officials failed to make an announcement until Sunday afternoon. Numerous people have sent me links saying they first learned about the chemical spill through TikTok, not traditional media. Over 1.5 million people call the Philadelphia area home, as it is the sixth-largest city in the US. The city sent out a mass text on Sunday, but the surrounding areas were not informed. They claimed the water was safe for an additional day AFTER their mass text triggered panic buying. Leaked Texts Liberal Govt Plotted to De-Bank Freedom Convoy Protestors Before Invoking Emergencies Act Armstrong Economics

Tyrant Justin Trudeau gave the green light to the Western world to begin de-banking citizens based on political beliefs. New text messages emerged that show the Liberal government pressured banks to freeze accounts long before the Emergencies Act (EA) was invoked amid the Freedom Convoy (also known as the Trucker Convoy).

Trudeau invoked the Emergencies Act on February 14, 2022, but plans to punish protestors began weeks prior. Senior advisers at the Prime Ministers Office (PMO) Ben Chin and Tyler Meredith began discussing plans to de-bank protestors on February 7. But we are talking with banks and insurance companies about how they can act on their own and what helpful signals we might be able to send, one text message stated.

The Liberals wanted to keep the heat off the bank branches, as many were reluctant to freeze accounts. The government was also concerned that people would retaliate directly against the banks. So how could they safely lock out hundreds of people from the economy? One thing I should add- from what we hear most of the big banks are actually doing a lot of work already within the terms and conditions of existing account agreements to manage flow of funds if they suspect someone or something. Thats an angle we are looking at...

The Tech Industry Armstrong Economics

QUESTION: The tech industry has been shedding jobs like its no tomorrow. Are you still hiring when everyone else is firing?

ANSWER: Yes, but only experienced people in Machine Learning/AI. We are in a different field with completely different end goals. Not a start-up company and not trying to create an AI that will know the name of Lady Gagas dog.

The layoffs are because they are focused on consumer spending. We are not directed at that. In fact, the worse the economy gets, the greater our demand becomes. We have always been counter-trend in that regard.

Tik Tok v WEF Armstrong Economics

A lot of people have bought into the idea that Tik Tok should be banned because a Chinese guy started it. The argument seems to center on the idea that China can be tapping into everyones phone and somehow influence them against the government I suppose. While I find this a very ironic position when in fact the US does that and every APP the government has a backdoor. They are even arresting people based on APPs that tell them where people are right now.

But all that aside. There is an organization that is foreign and not American that is DELIBERATELY dividing the country and seeking to indoctrinate the next generation with their FOREIGN philosophy. It is Klaus Schwab and his World Economic Forum. This is FAR MORE dangerous than Tik Tok and it is INTENTIONALLY doing what the conspiracy theories about Tik Tok are claiming.

The term "pirated content" has a whole new meaning in the contemporary world, the Kremlin told journalists on Saturday. It is Russia that has been outright "robbed" by the US and its allies, Peskov said, adding that Moscow has to deal with "pirates" in the West anyway. "They have seized our assets, stolen our assets," the Kremlin spokesman told journalists, saying that "before, such people were called 'pirates'; now, they are called 'bandits'." Earlier on Saturday, Medvedev suggested finding "proper pirates" and using them to obtain content from western entertainment companies that left Russia over its conflict with Ukraine. Gun rights groups continue to target state and federal assault weapons bans amid mass shootings Original Journalism from OpenSecrets News

A fatal shooting at a private Christian school in Nashville on Monday left three students and three adults dead and reignited a contentious political debate around gun policy. Following reports that the shooter used legally-obtained AR-style weapons, President Joe Biden once again called for a ban on assault weapons.

But a federal ban is unlikely to pass a divided Congress, in part due to the strong influence of the gun rights lobby. Gun rights groups have recently targeted legislation that would limit access to or ban assault weapons at the state and federal level, arguing such measures infringe upon the Second Amendment rights of Americans.

Gun policy is a politically polarizing issue. Gun rights groups have contributed a total of $15 million to members of the 118th Congress throughout their careers, overwhelmingly to Republicans. All members in the top 20 recipients of political contributions from gun groups over the course of their career were Republican.

Delaware River spill: Philadelphia water safe to drink through Monday evening at 11:59 p.m. CLG News

Delaware River spill: Philadelphia water safe to drink through Monday evening at 11:59 p.m. [What happens to the water at midnight?] | 27 March 2023 | The Philadelphia Water Department is now encouraging residents to store tap water -- instead of buying bottled water in stores -- after hazardous materials spilled into the Delaware River. The recommendation comes after officials said Sunday afternoon that water in the city will remain safe to drink through Monday evening at 11:59 p.m. "We advise people that they can drink their tap water. There's no need to buy water." Mike Carroll, deputy managing director for the city's Office of Transportation, Infrastructure and Sustainability [?] said in a virtual news conference Sunday evening. "If they want to store water, they should store water from their tap in a bottle or pitcher and they can stick it in their fridge or refrigerator and it will be fine for them to drink" It's the latest in a series of updates after residents were advised just hours earlier to drink bottled water until further notice after an estimated 8,000 gallons of a latex-based solution spilled into Otter Creek from a plant in Bucks County. The plant makes acrylic resins, which are often used in paints to prevent corrosion, and weather-proof manufactured items like cars.

Biden issues first veto as president, blocks measure by Congress on 'woke' investment | 21 March 2023 | Joe Biden issued his first veto Monday after Congress voted to block a Labor Department rule allowing retirement plans to weigh the long-term impacts of social factors and climate change on investments -- a move Republicans say is a "woke" policy that hurts retirees' pockets. Senate Republicans, along with two Democrats, voted on the measure March 1, needing only a simple majority for it to pass. Sens. Jon Tester, D-Mont., and Joe Manchin, D-W.Va., voted with Republicans. Ahead of the bill going to his desk, Biden said he would veto it. A two-thirds majority of Congress would be needed to override Biden's veto.

With His First Veto, Biden Puts Woke Capitalism Before American Workers and Retirees CLG News

With His First Veto, Biden Puts Woke Capitalism Before American Workers and Retirees | 27 March 2023 | Joe Biden issued his first veto against a bipartisan bill that sought to protect millions of Americans' retirement plans from woke investments. His action shows he prioritizes politics over Americans' financial security. Early this month, the U.S. House and Senate passed a bipartisan resolution to prevent fiduciaries of retirement plans from subordinating financial returns to woke causes. Biden chose to ignore all the concerns and warnings, including those from his own party. Instead, he used his first veto to preserve a so-called environmental, social, and governance, or ESG, rule that his administration adopted last year. His action confirms that despite his rhetoric of bipartisanship, he is an inflexible politician.

Local governments in China are facing a debt crisis, with direct debt exceeding 120% of revenue, which is more than what Beijing has unofficially said is an acceptable debt level. The Chinese government has prioritized reducing financial risks, including in the real estate and local government debt sectors. In its annual government work report, the government dedicated an entire section to preventing and defusing major risks in these areas and called for preventing new debt build-up while reducing existing debt.

From the wall-mounted flat-screen across from his bed, the specter of a of giant rabbit emerges, gaunt and grizzled, draped in chains and weighty padlocks. "Who are you, spirit?" Bragg asks. "I am the ghost of prosecutions past," it moans. The big questions that weren't answered by the Telegraph's Lockdown Files Signs of the Times

The Telegraph's Lockdown Files have fizzled out. I fear they've had less impact than lockdown sceptics hoped. Now we're back to trivia: Lineker, Partygate, and a dredge through the lower sludge of the Met, which ignores their main deficiency: an inability to catch burglars. The Files reveal Matt Hancock as arrogant, vain and ignorant. He lacks curiosity. He entangles himself in his own spin, unable to reduce quarantine when he's told he can do so. He 'deploys' data on the Alpha variant to increase fear, not owing to its medical impact. He is drunk on power, mocking those paying to be imprisoned in Heathrow's Premier Inn. His supposed boss - Boris - emerges marginally better. Boris half-knows that it is all mad. He occasionally expresses alternative views, but he is too feeble, cowardly and...

Germany now addicted to US LNG - German MP Signs of the Times

Opposition politician laments ecological and economic effects of losing access to Russian energy... The sabotage of the Nord Stream natural gas pipelines has turned Germany's dependence on Russian natural gas into an addiction to liquefied natural gas (LNG) from the US, a member of the German Bundestag, Andrej Hunko, has said. Germany has paid heavily for last year's explosions on the pipelines, which were built to deliver cheap natural gas from Russia, The Left party politician told China's Global Times newspaper in an interview on Thursday. He noted: "The sabotage left Berlin without an option to "choose which gas is better and cheaper and which is ecologically better. Before, it was a decision under political pressure, whether to use gas or not. But now there is no infrastructure to use gas, and this is the biggest impact." Germany used to meet up to 40% of its demand with gas from Russia. Last year, Berlin managed to reduce its reliance on the fuel from the sanctioned country...

While describing the amount as "very considerable," the president stated that according to Moscow's data, the US is currently producing 14,000-15,000 artillery shells a month, while the Ukrainian military uses up to 5,000 shells each day. "Next year... [the US plans] to produce as much as 42,000, and 75,000 in 2025." However, Putin said that Moscow's forces have been using far more munitions than Ukraine, and that the Ministry of Defense and the General Staff "even had to introduce certain limitations." "Russia's output level...

According to figures provided by the organizers, a total of 630,000 people attended the rallies. In Tel Aviv alone, which was the main venue for the activists, around 200,000 protesters gathered, local media said.

Fauci should be prosecuted for negligent homicide for vaccine lies Signs of the Times

I recently proposed that COVID Warlord Fauci can and should be prosecuted for negligent homicide vis a vis the illicit gain-of-function research he funded in Wuhan Institute of Virology. Here, I would like to expand the indictment to include his vaxx-related criminality, which is legion. On the vaxx front, Fauci is culpable for an untold number of deaths which will become, perhaps, more concrete over time as the research unfolds into what exactly the long-term effects of the gene therapy are. As of March 2023, there are 19,476 preliminary reports of death from the COVID-19 shots reported to the CDC's and FDA's Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS). However - and this is a huge caveat - the figures reflected in VAERS are likely significant under-estimates of the actual death toll. Research indicates that less than 1% of adverse events are ever actually reported to VAERS.

Israeli hate crimes against Christians soar in occupied East Jerusalem Signs of the Times

Israeli extremists have increased their attacks on Palestinian Christians and Christian institutions in occupied East Jerusalem since the beginning of the year, with police doing little to stop violent incidents, according to Israeli daily Haaretz. Church leaders say the spike in violence can be attributed to the Jewish supremacist rhetoric of the current far-right government, whose ministers have called for Palestinian villages to be "wiped out" and even denied the existence of a Palestinian people. On top of this, locals who spoke with Haaretz say the police "do not treat the situation seriously enough and refuse to identify the growing list of violent incidents as a trend."

Russia possesses weapons capable of wiping out any enemy, including US Patrushev Signs of the Times

Russia possesses advanced unique weapons capable of wiping out any enemy, including the United States, Security Council Secretary Nikolay Patrushev said in an interview with the Rossiyskaya Gazeta daily on Monday. "Russia is patient and does not intimidate anyone with its military advantage. However, it possesses advanced unique weapons capable of destroying any enemy, including the United States, in case of a threat to its existence," the security chief said. The view held by US politicians that Russia won't be able to retaliate against a US pre-emptive nuclear strike is a short-sighted and dangerous stance, Patrushev stressed.

Obstacles to gratitude and its life-changing power Signs of the Times

Comment: The following is the transcript to one video from George Simon's Character Matters series where he tackles what he terms, the biggest issue of our time, character disturbance, i.e. pathology and that what is sorely missing in our modern era is the development of true character. Introduction Hello, I'm Dr. George Simon and welcome to another edition of the new, Character Matters. This is the program where we talk about all things pertaining to character and character disturbances. And over the past couple of programs, we've been talking about, what I term, in the upcoming book on the subject, the second commandment of character which has to do with overcoming any sense of entitlement and developing a profound sense of gratitude and the resulting obligations that come with feeling inherently indebted for the many gifts that we have, that are in fact, unearned. Now, today I would like to focus a little bit more on some of the impediments that there are - especially in our day...

Technology and a Tyranny Worse than Prison BlackListed News

By now we know that such mass surveillance does not merely have the purpose if it ever did of tracking and predicting consumer behaviour with the aim of maximising profits; far from it. It is generally known among those who prefer to remain informed about global developments, and who do not only rely on the legacy media for this, that in China such mass surveillance has reached the point where citizens are tracked through a myriad of cameras in public places, as well as through smartphones, to the point where their behaviour is virtually completely monitored and controlled.
