San Francisco hit with bomb cyclone, one dead, 230,000 without power Signs of the Times

A 'bomb cyclone' slammed into San Francisco Tuesday evening in the latest severe storm to hit the West Coast, devastating the region with hurricane-force winds and torrential rainfall. The weather front is the latest major storm to hit the region this year, where it unleashed flash floods and blistering wind gusts throughout the Golden State. At least one person died after the gusts - which reached upwards of 78mph - caused a tree to fall near Portolla Valley. Meanwhile, more than 230,000 residents across California had their power wiped out in the storm. Glass from a San Francisco high rise reportedly plummeted to the ground after the storm swept in late afternoon, however no injuries were reported from the incident.

Bill Gates plots a global pandemic prison state Signs of the Times

An epic disaster like the COVID response, one might suppose, should inspire some humility and rethinking on how public health could have gone so wrong. They had their run at it but created a global disaster for the ages. This is more than obvious to any competent observer. The next step might be to see if there are any places where matters went rather well, and Sweden comes first to mind. The educational losses were non-existent because they didn't close schools. In general life went on as normal and with very good results. One might suppose the Swedish way would be vindicated. Sadly, our leaders care nothing for evidence, apparently. Their concern is for power and money at any cost. As a result, we are witnessing a concerted effort not only to double down on errors the next time but make them even worse.

The financial system is terminally broken, toast, kaput! Signs of the Times

Comment: Keeping in mind that the author is a goldbug, and the following is not financial advice, he does raise some excellent points. Anyone who doesn't see what is happening will soon lose a major part of their assets either through bank failure, currency debasement or the collapse of all bubble assets like stocks, property and bonds by 75-100%. Many bonds will become worthless. Wealth preservation in physical gold is now absolutely critical. Obviously it must be stored outside a broken financial system. More later in this article. The solidity of the banking system is based on confidence. With the fractional banking system, highly leveraged banks only have a fraction of the money available if all depositors ask for their money back. So when confidence evaporates, so do the balance sheets of the banks and depositors realise that the whole system is just a black hole. And this is exactly what is about to happen. For anyone who believes that this is just a problem with a few...

Guy Pays 50 Rent Per Month To Live In A Skip In London TruthTheory

guy lives in skip london

By Mayukh Saha / Truth Theory

Living as a renter in an expensive city like London cant be easy for a large portion of the population. This is why Harrison, an artist, lives in a skip in London where he pays a meager rent of 50 per month. When one steps into his skip, they would find a kitchen and a living space attached. The kitchen is lined with shelves where he keeps his Hob stoves, a mini fridge, and the cutlery. In order to make the skip a little aesthetic, he has also lined the walls with artwork from his friends and family. Above the kitchen is his bedroom- which he considers to be quite cozy. Harrison claims that not only is this tiny skip his house- but it is also a statement against the increasing cost of living in the country. Harrison states, This project was a way through which I could find- almost like a loophole that would give me a space to live for less money in a very great location and equally make a statement at the same time.

Artist lives in a skip in London which costs him 50 per month

The entrance to this skip in London is definitely not very comfortable- but one can make do with it. Harrisons bed is situated right at the top, which he climbs through a ladder, and is lined with cabinets for clothes, tools, and other paraphernalia. The artist had been working overseas and had recently returned to London. As most people usually do, he had to start searching for rooms in London- which are definitely quite expensive and few in quantity. There were other issues as wel...

What Red State vs. Blue State Looks Like to an Ant Dissident Voice

Red_vs_Blue_Ants_View

Just watching the two major parties ruthlessly claw at and attempt to malign and delegitimize each other, then seeing people now excitedly lining up on one side or the other like opposing Ninja turtle teams is both amusing and frightening.  We can count on the talking heads and modern media to regurgitate a story line familiar to devotees of Saturday morning cartoon shows to give substance to our political competitions and aspirations.  Unfortunately, the narrative is insultingly simple-minded and mostly a distraction.

With the nation divided into red and blue states, the news robots now have the solemn and putatively critical duty to keep us up to date on any shifting of allegiances and rebalancing of the color scheme, milking any incremental addition of a splotch of blue or dash of red for whatever drama they can generate, before cutting to a commercial break.

What has this got to do with the mounting crises we find ourselves in?

Here is a short list of profound challenges confronting the world:

  • Potential for nuclear war and the annihilation of the planet.
  • Climate change.
  • Resource depletion.
  • Desertification of shrinking tracts of farm land.
  • Diminishing fresh water supplies.
  • Acidification of the oceans and overfishing.
  • Antibiotic-resistant diseases.
  • Accelerating species extinction.
  • Human trafficking and enslavement.

Here is a short list of critical challenges just to our nation:

  • Destruction of democracy and rule by an oligarchy.
  • Historical levels of wealth inequality.
  • Loss of privacy and basic constitutional rights to the surveillance state.
  • Corporate tyranny and plutoc...

Imperial Visits: US Emissaries in the Pacific Dissident Voice

For some time, Washington has been losing its spunk in the Pacific. When it comes to the Pacific Islands, a number have not fallen at least entirely for the rhetoric that Beijing is there to take, consume, and dominate all. Nor have such countries been entirely blind to their own sharpened interests. This largely aqueous region, which promises to submerge them in the rising waters of climate change, has become furiously busy.

A number of officials are keen to push the line that Washingtons policy towards the Pacific is clearly back where it should be. Its all part of the warming strategy adopted by the Biden administration, typified by the US-Pacific Island Country summit held last September. In remarks made during the summit, President Joe Biden stated that the security of America, quite frankly, and the world, depends on your security and the security of the Pacific Islands. And I really mean that.

Not once was China mentioned, but its ghostly presence stalked Bidens words. A new Pacific Partnership Strategy was announced, the first national US strategy for [the] Pacific Islands. Then came the promised cash: some $810 million in expanded US programs including more than $130 million in new investments to support, among other things, climate resilience, buffer the states against the impact of climate change and improve food security.

The Pacific Islands have also seen a flurry of recent visits. In January this year, US Indo-Pacific military commander Admiral John Aquilino popped into Papua New Guinea to remind the good citizens of Port Moresby that the eyes of the US were gazing benignly upon them. It was his first visit to the country, and the public affairs unit of the US Indo-Pacific Command stated that it underscored the importance of the US-Papua New Guinea relationship and showed US resolve toward building a more peaceful, stable, and prosperous Indo-Pacific region.

In February, a rather obvious strategic point was made in the reopening of the US embassy in the Solomon Islands. Little interest had been shown towards the island state for some three decades (the embassy had been closed in 1993). But then came Beijing doing, at least from Washingtons perspective, the unpardonable thing of poking around and seeking influence.

Now, Prime Minister Manasseh Sogavare finds himself at the centre of much interest, at least till he falls out of favour in the airconditioned corridors of Washington. His policy friends to all, enemy to none has become a mantra. That much was clear in a May 2022...

UFOs An International Scientific Problem by Dr. James McDonald Presented March 12, 1968 The Black Vault

In this paper, Dr. James E. McDonald, a prominent atmospheric physicist, presents a detailed analysis of the UFO phenomenon and argues that it deserves serious scientific attention. McDonald emphasizes the need for a comprehensive, international, and interdisciplinary approach to study UFO sightings and related incidents. He highlights numerous cases and testimonies from various sources, including military personnel, pilots, and radar operators, as well as other credible witnesses. McDonald calls for the scientific community to move past the stigma associated with UFOs and to engage in open-minded research to understand these unexplained phenomena better.

Key Highlights:

  1. Scientific Stigma: McDonald laments the prevailing scientific stigma around UFOs and their study. He argues that this stigma has prevented the scientific community from engaging in a serious investigation of the UFO phenomenon, leading to a significant gap in knowledge and understanding.
  2. Credible Witnesses: The paper presents numerous UFO sightings and encounters reported by credible witnesses, including military personnel, pilots, and radar operators. McDonald emphasizes the need to take these testimonies seriously and consider them as valuable data sources for further research.
  3. Unexplained Phenomena: McDonald discusses various unexplained aspects of UFO sightings, such as their apparent ability to change shape, move at high speeds, and exhibit unconventional flight patterns. He suggests that these characteristics warrant scientific investigation and should not be dismissed as mere optical illusions or misidentifications.
  4. Need for Interdisciplinary Approach: McDonald calls for an interdisciplinary approach to study UFOs, involving experts from various fields such as atmospheric physics, meteorology, psychology, and sociology. He believes that only through collaboration can the scientific community achieve a comprehensive understanding of the UFO phenomenon.
  5. International Cooperation: McDonald highlights the importance of international cooperation in UFO research. He argues that UFO sightings are a global phenomenon, and as such, they require a global effort to collect and analyze data, share information, and develop unified research methodologies.
  6. Government Involvement: The paper also touches upon the role of governments in UFO research. McDonald acknowledges that government agencies, especially in the United States, have been involved in UFO investigations but criticizes their approach as inadequate and secretive. He calls for greater transparency and a more rigorous scientific methodology in governmental UFO research.

In conclusion, Dr. James E. McDonalds paper advocates for the serious scientific study of UFOs, emphasizing the need for interdisciplinary and international collaboration to better understand this complex phenomenon. He challenges the scientific community to overcome the sti...

Richard Spencer and the Navy SEAL Edward Gallagher Controversy The Black Vault

The controversy over Navy SEAL Edward Gallagher and then-Secretary of the Navy Richard Spencer dates back to a series of events that unfolded primarily in 2019.

Edward Gallagher was a Chief Petty Officer in the U.S. Navy SEALs with a decorated career. He faced allegations of war crimes, which led to a high-profile court-martial. The charges against him included the murder of a wounded ISIS prisoner, shooting unarmed civilians, and threatening fellow SEALs if they reported his actions. In July 2019, Gallagher was acquitted of most of the charges but was found guilty of posing with a corpse, resulting in a demotion.

In November 2019, President Donald Trump intervened and restored Gallaghers rank, a decision that sparked controversy and drew mixed reactions. Some praised the president for standing up for a military service member, while others criticized the move as undermining military justice and eroding discipline within the ranks.

This is where then-Secretary of the Navy, Richard Spencer, became involved. He disagreed with Trumps decision and pushed for a review of Gallaghers case, seeking to determine if Gallagher should maintain his status as a Navy SEAL and retain his Trident pina symbol of membership in the elite SEAL community. Publicly, Spencer appeared to support Trumps decision, but he was reportedly working behind the scenes to ensure that the review process would proceed.

Ultimately, the situation escalated, and Defense Secretary Mark Esper asked for Spencers resignation, citing a loss of trust and confidence due to his handling of the Gallagher case. According to Esper, Spencer had gone around him and proposed a secret agreement with the White House to allow Gallagher to retire as a SEAL with his Trident pin, which contradicted the public position he had taken.

In summary, the controversy around Edward Gallagher and Richard Spencers involvement stemmed from Gallaghers alleged war crimes, the intervention of President Trump, and the subsequent handling of the case by Navy leadership. The situation led to both public debate over the role of the president in military justice decisions and the resignation of Richard Spencer as Secretary of the Navy.

In November of 2019, The Black Vault requested all documents that had the keyword Gallagher in the mailbox of Richard Spencer.

The below are the results:

Stunning bolide over south of Spain (March 21) Signs of the Times

This impressive bolide was spotted over Spain on March 21, at 2:07 local time (equivalent to 1:07 universal time). It was almost as bright as the full Moon. The event was generated by a rock (a meteoroid) from a comet that hit the atmosphere at about 67,000 km/h. The fireball overflew the province of Sevilla (Spain). It began at an altitude of about 91 km over Paradas (province of Sevilla), moved northeast, and ended at a height of around 36 km over Villanueva del Rey (province of Sevilla). This bright meteor was recorded in the framework of the SMART project, operated by the Southwestern Europe Meteor Network (SWEMN) from the meteor-observing stations located at Huelva, La Hita (Toledo), Calar Alto, Sierra Nevada, La Sagra (Granada), Sevilla, Huelva, and El Aljarafe (Sevilla). The event has been analyzed by the principal investigator of the SMART project: Dr. Jose M. Madiedo, from the Institute of Astrophysics of Andalusia (IAA-CSIC).

8 dolphins found on Sea Isle City beach, New Jersey - 2 dead, 6 later euthanized Signs of the Times

Two dolphins have died and six others had to be euthanized by a veterinarian after their pod became beached on the shore of this Cape May County resort town on Tuesday, according to the Marine Mammal Stranding Center in Brigantine. "All eight dolphins have been transported to the NJ State Lab for immediate necropsies," the stranding center said in a Facebook post late Tuesday afternoon. "We share in the public's sorrow for these beautiful animals, and we hope that the necropsies will help us understand the reasoning for their stranding." A spate of marine mammal deaths off the Jersey Shore since December has triggered what at times has been an intensely emotional debate over the cause.

Former President Donald Trump unveiled his new plan Tuesday to "dismantle the deep state" by firing "rogue" bureaucrats and career politicians, according to a new policy agenda video. Trump released a list of ten items that indicate how he plans to "clean out the deep state," starting with re-instating an executive order that would give the president the authority to fire bureaucrats, according to the video posted on Rumble. The former president's plan would dismantle the "Washington Swamp," target corruption and ensure that federal bureaucrats and politicians are held accountable. "The departments and agencies that have been weaponized will be completely overhauled so that faceless bureaucrats will never again be able to target and persecute conservatives, Christians, or the left's political enemies, which they're doing now at a level that nobody can believe even possible," Trump said in the video.

Epstein victim allowed to sue big banks for allegedly enabling sex offender: 'We will leave no stone unturned' Signs of the Times

An unnamed victim of deceased child sex predator Jeffrey Epstein, as well as the government of the U.S. Virgin Islands, will be allowed to file suit against JPMorgan Chase and Deutsche Bank. United States District Judge Jed Rakoff tossed most of the charges against the two financial institutions in proposed class action lawsuits on Monday, according to a report from Bloomberg, and threw out three of the four claims against JPMorgan Chase in a separate suit from the U.S. Virgin Islands. Attorneys will be permitted, however, to contend that the firms benefited from the Epstein sex trafficking scheme by providing him with financial services. "Epstein's sex trafficking operation was impossible without the assistance of JPMorgan Chase, and later Deutsche Bank, and we assure the public that we will leave no stone unturned in our quest for justice for the many victims who deserved better from one of America's largest financial institutions," lawyers for the U.S. Virgin Islands and the...

Rice Doesnt Mean Just Paella: Two Simple and Delicious Recipes The Event Chronicle

Here are two recipes with rice that are easy and quick to make at home.

Rice with baby squid, hake, and shrimp

source:angsarap.net

Ingredients

  1. One medium coffee cup of bomba rice
  2. 7 oz Hake
  3. 17 oz of squid
  4. 6 shrimps
  5. Homemade sofrito (two tablespoons)
  6. Three medium-sized coffee cups of fish broth or fumet
  7. 1 clove of garlic

How to make it?

  1. Start by cooking the squid in the paella pan with a little olive oil. As soon as they begin to brown, remove them and set them aside. Lightly mark the hake delights and the shrimps, proceeding then to reserve everything.
  2. Then, in the same oil, brown a clove of chopped garlic and add a spoonful of sofrito.
  3. Once everything is ready, add the rice, the saffron, and the broth and let it cook over high heat for 8 minutes. To intensify the flavor, add the content of the heads of the shrimps, squeezing them a little.
  4. Lower the heat to the minimum but control it so that the rice does not stop cooking and add the baby squids, leaving the rice to cook for another 7-8 minutes more. Carefully add the hake delicacies and the peeled prawns and turn off the heat, covering the rice with a tea towel while letting the last pieces added cook with the remaining heat and the steam under the cloth, leaving to rest for about 15 minutes before serving.

It is a type of pasta that has a mild, fairly neutral flavor, which is easily impregnated with the aromas of the ingredients with which it is cooked.

There are different variations of couscous; namely:

source:tastingtable.com

  2. Pearl couscous or Israeli couscous with semolina granules about the size of peppercorns and usually steamed in the traditional long cooking method.
  3. Lebanese couscous, which is larger than Israeli couscous with starch granules about the size of small peas.

Because of its nutritional value, its convenient method of cooking, and the delicious recipes you can prepare with it, we are going to talk in this post about pearl couscous. We will be referring to the way of cooking, tips, and benefits of this pasta.

The staple food that helped a country through difficult times

Pearl couscous, also known as Israeli couscous, was created in the early years of the 1950s, shortly after Israel was declared an independent nation. It is believed that Israeli Prime Minister David Ben Gurion asked a team of experts to develop a substitute for rice, given the nations food shortages. In the early 1960s, pearl couscous began to spread throughout the Mediterranean region, eventually reaching Northern and Eastern Europe.

Thanks to its versatility, it quickly became a staple in many European countries, including Italy, Spain, and France. Pearl couscous continued to spread throughout the world and eventually made its way to the United States in the late 20th century. Today, pearl couscous is widely use...

Humble teas antidepressant properties confirmed Terra Forming Terra

I actually got there quite recently  I have never particularly liked green tea, let alone Matcha, so i was a lousy prospect.

Then i realized that I needed to make the effort and let my taste buds adjust to it all.  After all, this worked for saurkraut and Kim chee.

Then i discovered that Tetly is making a matcho green leaf blend in tea bags.  Wonderful.  It suddenly became practical.

Now my morning bevferage is one tea bag steeped into two cups of tea as no tannins are involved and a half teaspoon of sugar to sweeten.  I actually use jaggary which darkens the color.  It all works and it is way better than what i usually used.

Tentsla adds a four-person tent to the back of a Tesla Model Y Terra Forming Terra

This is a huge improvement on the camping experience.  Everyone needs to drive to a camping site and then it problematic to set up.  Here we have height properly handled, a possible bed for two adults in the SUV and ample space for others on the floor of the tent.

I can see this becoming the standard and camp sites will cater to all this.  After all they can even get tightrer spacing out of it.  All good.

The car rental crowd will support this as well.

The Zoning Theory of Everything Terra Forming Terra

The prime purpose of government is to create and impliment protocols that allow economic processes take place.  After all ladies, zoning manipulation is the sole cause of homelessneess.  Yet we define them as those others and choose to do nothing at all.  When the fix is easy.

Just how useful is zoning regulation when your city is subjected to a creeping artillary barrage?  That is exactly how stupid folks are everywhere.

I do want to say that there are plenty of other ways to mandate protyocols that support economic growth.  Recall that all our land has a government based guarantee which eliminates bank risk over the life of any mortgage contract.  This also applies to student loans for example.  It may not be spelled out, but it is certainly a defacto guarantee.

By the way, it may be expedient to charge a monthly tax on housing that is vacant for more than three months equal to the market rental rate.  This will create a huge demand for tenancy of convenience to fill tghese spaces.  It would obviously be a shock, but guess what?  The market would adjust rather fast.

Reading about the nature of plasma, i am inspired to advance our thinking.  As i have posted, Cloud Cosmology throws up a plausible object which can be described best as a neutral neutron pair which can be expected to decay into an hydrogen atom with its own free electron.  Understand that we posit self assembly of a range of particles beginning with the 'neutral' neutrino pair actually described better as a SPACE TIME pendulum, then to a 'neutral' electron positron pairing and from there to our neutral neutron pairs which ultimately decays into hydrtogen providing us with free electrons and positive ions.  Besides the obvious, it is likely a whole range of intermediate partial constructs also emerge and when they decay, we identify them as cosmic rays.

What is interesting is that the neutral neutron pair is certainly not perfectly neutral but will act weakly at least along several axis.  This permits the attachment of either negative or positive ions as well but not necessarily bound as we experience with what we are able to detect.  It still means though that it should be possible to detect these objects and in fact we already have.  Electrons will pop free when absorbing a photon and then reemit a photon. Thus we can see those clouds.

All this is a round about way to describe the nature of plasma.  These objects are sticky enough to largely self assemble in order to produce potential complex atoms to fill the periodic table and explains a lot as well.  I use the word potential because we only see that potential realized on the surface of the sun under both pressure and also dense radiation

The surface of the sun sees neutron pairs decaying into hydrogen gas which then emits radiation as electrons are grabbed. It is possible that the...

I told you So Armstrong Economics

For the life of me, I have stated the obvious that the Biden Administration has been pushing China and Russia together not to mention North Korea, Iran, and perhaps even Turkey. I cannot believe that I am so brilliant that none of these people in the White House understood the historical event that just took place. That leaves me with the only possible conclusion that they KNEW what they were doing, and that this was DELIBERATE with the intention of creating World War III.

They made it clear that Russia is willing to negotiate but the USA wants war not peace. All they need to do is honor the Minsk Agreement which they refuse to do. In addition, they expressed concern about the West effectively creating NATO in Asia and the AUKUS (Australia, the United Kingdom, and the United States) and their plans to build nuclear submarines that would violate the non-proliferation of weapons of mass destruction.

Russian and China came to an agreement concerning a comprehensive partnership in the energy sector. They also expressed concern for the American Neocons who have been pushing military-biological activities and demand full disclosure. They are furthermore pushing for the US to accelerate the elimination of its stockpile of chemical weapons, which the Neocons seem to be dragging their feet intentionally under the Biden Administration.

They also stressed that the United States is pushing Ukraine into this proxy war that they viewed as leading to an uncontrollable phase. Moreover, they have also pointed out that the United States and the UK are bypassing the UN Security Council and acting in a rogue manner. The Biden Administration has already divided the world economy. Now, China and Russia are moving to a joint security policy on food and energy which will include defense.

NATO is by no means a defensive organization. They violated the agreements of 1991 and moved Eastward to the border of Russia. In return, China and Russia have called on NATO to strictly observe the defensive nature of their organization and respect the foreign sovereignty of nations, which they have not. Aside from the fact that they invited Russia to join in 1991 which led to the Gorbachev coup, the need for Russia to be the evil empire has been vital. Without an enemy, NATO serves no purpose.

They have also expressed concern that the United States has clearly intensified...

The Banking & Debt Crisis Continues Armstrong Economics

The banking crisis continues and it is impacting funds that have been buying bonds. Allianz, a subsidiary of Pimco, is writing off countless millions with Credit Suisse bonds. The banking crisis has been the result of artificially low-interest rates for far too long and banks were used to free money and buy long-term bonds all because they were making their money on the spread. Now that rates are rising, their risk management was effectively nonexistent, and thus the losses and widespread.

The Allianz subsidiary Pimco is one of the largest asset managers in the world. They have to now write off a loss in Credit Suisse bonds and its aint over yet as we head into April 10th.

What it means to be a resilient leader, according to an Oxford professor Fast Company

Resilience must be ingrained in a companys culture.

I have personally seen the importance of resilience in entrepreneurship. The story of Ismail Karra, my father, is one of resilience. As a refugee who fled Bulgaria as a Turkish ethnic minority in 1989 with only two suitcases to his name, he built a successful business selling textile and leather goods to Russia, the former Soviet bloc republics, and Ukraine. But when Russia attacked Ukraine in 2021, the stakes were raised higher than ever before. In the midst of this crisis, my family and I decided to stop all operations in Russia. My father, as the CEO of the business, was resolute in the decision. He knew that resilience is key to survival and success in business, and he had proven this time and again throughout his journey as a refugee and entrepreneur. He had faced the Russian ruble devaluation, which cost him everything overnight, the 2008 recession, and the refusal of his one and only Russian distributor to pay his debt. Now, with the persistent pandemic and ongoing geopolitical conflicts, he was ready to face yet another challenge.

White House Neocon Spokesman Admits They Do Not Want Peace in Ukraine Armstrong Economics

I have had two employees from Ukraine Kiev and Donetsk. The one from Kiev just mouths the standard Ukrainian propaganda. If they give up the Donbas, they will then want all of Ukraine. The UK is deeply involved walking hand and hand with Biden into world war III. They have clearly crossed the Rubicon here and for no justification. Had they simply honored the Minsk Agreement and let the Donbas, which is ethnically Russian, separate from a regime that hates their guts the war would be over in 5 minutes.

Instead, Britain appears to have been planning to give Ukraine nuclear weapons with depleted Uranium. Putin has come out and warned the UK that the delivery and use of depleted uranium missiles by the Ukrainian Armed Forces will be perceived as an attack against Russia with a weapon that has a nuclear component. Putin elaborated:

Today it became known that the United Kingdom, through the Deputy Head of the Ministry of Defense of the country, announced the supply of not only tanks to Ukraine but also shells with depleted uranium. It seems that the West really decided to fight Russia in the last Ukrainian not with words, but with deeds Russia will be forced to react once the collective West starts using weapons with a nuclear component.

There are some who believe that Ukraine should just be nuked. Give the people 2 weeks to flee to Poland or Germany, and then nuke the region and make it unlivable. That is basically the legion that Rome certainly razed the city entirely, but there are no contemporary sources stating that...

Faucis Door to Door Vaccine Campaign Fails Armstrong Economics

https://rumble.com/v2e37rm-faucis-door-to-door-vax-efforts-got-squashed-by-d.c.-residents-who-didnt-tr.html

This video is circulating the internet that shows RESISTANCE IS NOT FUTILE. Dr. Anthony Fauci goes door to door, pressuring residents of Washington, DC, to take an experimental injection for an experimental virus he likely helped leak. Watch how the people destroy Faucis misinformation in a few short minutes. One woman explains to Fauci that his shot does not prevent infection or transmissionwhats the point of taking the vaccine at all? Theyre not doing it because theyre saying they dont want to do it. Theyre Republicans and they dont like being told what to do, Fauci stated at the beginning of the video as if this issue were political.

The second man in this video really tells Fauci to Fauci off. Theyre still pressuring people to take the vaccine under the pretense that it will protect the public, although even the pharmaceutical companies admit the vaccines provide no such protection. When the gentleman in the video expresses his hesitation with valid points, Fauci attempts to present the science, which we have learned is ever-changing based on the agenda. When you start talking about paying people to get vaccinatedwhen you start incentivizing people to get vaccinated, there is something going on with that, the skeptical American said. He then told them that the entire pandemic was about FEAR and inciting terror within the population to force them to behave as ordered.

Nature published an article entitled, Vaccine incentives do not backfire policymakers take note. The study claims that cash incentives for vaccinations do not have negative consequences. Soros Taking Down America Armstrong Economics

Alvan Bragg in his vendetta against Donald Trump is clearly not just abusing his power, but he is attempting to interfere in the presidential election of 2024 by harassing Trump and trying to make him so toxic that nobody will donate to him. While I personally thought that Trump had fallen too far to be a viable candidate, at this point, this has all had the opposite effect.  We have to come to the realization that Washington DC is so toxic itself, on both sides, that perhaps we need Donald Trump to actually kick ass. Will anyone else be effective in DC as a president from here on out? The answer is absolutely no way. And BTW, even if Trump is indicted and found guilty, he can still be president. A felony does not preclude you from being president.

Bragg is trying to claim that Trump used his own funds that he put into his campaign to pay the hooker and that makes it illegal. Bill Clinton did the same to pay $850,000 to Jones to settle a public lawsuit after an election but before any reelection no less Hillarys run for president.  Trump won against Stormy Daniels that he never had an affair with her and she eventually admitted that whereas Clinton did have an affair with Jones. All of this is absolutely desperate interference in the 2024 election.

Israel's uncertain future in the wake of Great Power conflict Signs of the Times

As global power dynamics continue to shift, Israel's close western alignment could limit its ability to engage with emerging powers in the east. Arch-rival Iran, which has established ties with Russia and China, will be better positioned to gain from the shifting geopolitical landscape. Great-power competition has the potential to significantly impact the future of Israel. As a key player in West Asia, Israel is likely to be affected by the actions and strategies of major powers such as the US, China, and Russia. The US has historically been a strong ally of Israel, providing significant military and economic aid. However, Washington's current strategy of thwarting growing Chinese and Russian political and economic influence around the world may lead to increased pressure on Israel, a western-creation, to align with US interests in the region. At the same time, China and Russia are rapidly expanding their stakes in West Asia, which may set back Israel's recent rapprochement...

What Really Happens When We Die? A Shocking Revelation Awareness Act

Death is a topic that most people dont like to think about, let alone discuss. But as the saying goes, death is the great equalizer, and its something that we will all experience at some point. While there are many theories about what happens when we die, the truth is that no one knows for sure. However, recent research and personal accounts from those who have had near-death experiences have shed new light on this topic, and the revelations may shock you.

According to a study conducted by the University of Southampton in the UK, consciousness can continue to exist for several minutes after the body has died. The study, which analyzed more than 2,000 cases of cardiac arrest patients, found that nearly 40% of those who were resuscitated reported some level of awareness during the time that they were clinically dead.

One of the most interesting aspects of the study is that many of the patients reported similar experiences, regardless of whether they believed in an afterlife or not. Many described feeling as though they were floating above their body, watching as doctors tried to revive them. Others reported feelings of peace and tranquility, and some even said that they saw a bright light or a tunnel.

While its impossible to say for sure what these experiences mean, they do suggest that consciousness may be separate from the physical body and that it can continue to exist after death.

Another fascinating aspect of the study is that some of the patients reported hearing conversations that were taking place in the room while they were clinically dead. This suggests that hearing may be one of the last senses to go when we die, and that we may be more aware of our surroundings than we realize.

Of course, there are still many unanswered questions about what happens when we die. Some people believe in an afterlife, while others believe that death is simply the end. However, the research into near-death experiences suggests that there may be more to death than we previously thought.

Regardless of what happens when we die, its important to remember that death is a natural part of life. While it can be scary to think about, its also a reminder to live our lives to the fullest and to cherish the time that we have with our loved ones. So, whether we go on to a new plane of existence or simply fade away, we can take comfort in the fact that we will all experience death together, and that its simply a part of the cycle of life.

The Science of Death: Understanding the Final Moments of Life Awareness Act

Death is a natural and inevitable part of life, yet it remains one of the most mysterious and misunderstood phenomena. While we often think of death as a sudden event, the truth is that its a process that begins long before the moment of passing. In recent years, scientists have begun to unravel the science of death, shedding light on the final moments of life and what happens to the body and brain during this process.

One of the key aspects of the science of death is the concept of brain death. Brain death occurs when the brain is no longer functioning and cannot be revived, even with medical intervention. When the brain dies, its no longer able to regulate the bodys functions, such as breathing and heart rate, and ultimately, the body ceases to function.

However, even after the brain has died, some cells in the body may continue to live for a short period of time. For example, skin cells can live for several hours, while liver cells may be able to survive for up to a day. This process is known as cellular death, and its the reason why organ donation must occur soon after brain death.

During the process of dying, the body undergoes a number of physiological changes. One of the most well-known is rigor mortis, which occurs when the muscles stiffen after death. This occurs due to a lack of ATP, which is necessary for muscle relaxation. Other changes include the cooling of the body, known as algor mortis, and the pooling of blood in the lower parts of the body, known as livor mortis.

In addition to these changes, there are also a number of psychological changes that occur during the dying process. For example, as the brain begins to shut down, individuals may experience hallucinations, delirium, and other altered states of consciousness. They may also become less responsive and withdraw into themselves.

One of the most important aspects of the science of death is understanding the different ways in which individuals die. For example, some individuals may experience a sudden death, such as in the case of a heart attack, while others may experience a more gradual decline, such as in the case of a terminal illness. Understanding these differences can help individuals and their families to better prepare for the dying process and make informed decisions about end-of-life care.

Ultimately, the science of death is a complex and multifaceted field, and there is still much to learn about this mysterious process. However, by understanding the final moments of life, we can begin to demystify death and develop a deeper appreciation for the beauty and fragility of life itself.

Net zero must be brought forward by a decade to stop 'climate time bomb', says UN Signs of the Times

Net zero targets must be brought forward by a decade to stop the "climate time bomb", the UN has said at the launch of a major new climate change report. Rising emissions in recent years mean cuts in the next two decades will have to be more extreme than current plans, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) said. An 80 per cent global reduction in CO2 emissions is needed to limit warming to 1.5C, the upper aim of the Paris Agreement, its new report says. But the UN said richer countries must move faster than developing nations, by "super-charging" their net zero goals and helping poorer countries cut their own emissions. The UK, like most other developed nations, has set a target for net zero emissions by 2050, and its climate change advisers have said getting there quicker will "stretch feasibility".

The Canadian charge d'affaires in Moscow, Brian Ebel, was summoned on March 20 and issued with a formal protest over the remarks, the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement on Tuesday. Circus Politics Are Intended to Distract Us Dissident Voice

There is nothing more dangerous than a government of the many controlled by the few.

Lawrence Lessig, Harvard law professor

It is easy to be distracted right now by the bread and circus politics that have dominated the news headlines lately, but dont be distracted.

Dont be fooled, not even a little.

Were being subjected to the oldest con game in the books, the magicians sleight of hand that keeps you focused on the shell game in front of you while your wallet is being picked clean by ruffians in your midst.

This is how tyranny rises and freedom falls.

What characterizes American government today is not so much dysfunctional politics as it is ruthlessly contrived governance carried out behind the entertaining, distracting and disingenuous curtain of political theater. And what political theater it is, diabolically Shakespearean at times, full of sound and fury, yet in the end, signifying nothing.

We are being ruled by a government of scoundrels, spies, thugs, thieves, gangsters, ruffians, rapists, extortionists, bounty hunters, battle-ready warriors and cold-blooded killers who communicate using a language of force and oppression.

The U.S. government now poses the greatest threat to our freedoms.

More than terrorism, more than domestic extremism, more than gun violence and organized crime, even more than the perceived threat posed by any single politician, the U.S. government remains a greater menace to the life, liberty and property of its citizens than any of the so-called dangers from which the government claims to protect us.

No matter who has occupied the White House in recent years, the Deep State has succeeded in keeping the citizenry divided and at each others throats.

After all, as long as were busy fighting each other, well never manage to present a unified front against tyranny in any form.

Unfortunately, what we are facing is tyranny in every form.

The facts speak for themselves.

Were being robbed blind by a government of thieves. Americans no longer have any real protection against government agents empowered to seize private property at will. For instance, police agencies under the guise of asset forfeiture laws are taking Americans personal property based on little more than a suspicion of criminal activity and keeping it for their own profit and gain. In one case,...

The War Drive Against China Dissident Voice

When will this hate-filled nonsense stop? Surveillance balloons treated like evocations of Satan and his card-carrying followers; other innumerable unidentified phenomena that, nonetheless, remain attributable in origin, despite their designation; and then the issue of spying cranes. In the meantime, there has been much finger pointing on the culprit of COVID-19 and the global pandemic. Behold the China Threat, the Sino Monster, the Yellow Terror.

In this atmosphere, the hawkish disposition of media outlets in a number of countries in shrieking for war is becoming palpable. The Fairfax press in Australia gave a less than admirable example of this in their absurd Red Alert series, crowned by crowing warmongers warning Australia to get ready for the imminent confrontation. The publications were timed to soften the public for the inevitable, scandalous and possibly even treasonous announcement that the Australian government would be spending A$368 billion in local currency on needless submarines against a garishly dressed-up threat backed by ill-motivated allies.

For days, the Australian press demonstrated a zombie-like adherence to the war line that had been fed by deskbound generals no doubt suffering from piles and deranged civilian strategists desperate to justify their supper. It is a line that always assumes the virtue of war; that going into battle, much like US President Theodore Roosevelt thought, will always outdo the tedium of peace in a haze of phosphorescent glory. It is only in the morgues and the crowded cemeteries that we find a worthy patriotism. Go out and kill, you noble sons and daughters. Do your nation proud, however stupidly.

The desperation of such a measure is also a reflection of how public opinion rejects the war drive. In a 2022 poll by the Lowy Institute think tank, 51% of Australians said they preferred their country to remain neutral in a conflict between the US and China over Taiwan. This was not a bad return, given the repetitious insistence by various Australian government ministers that joining a war with the United States over Taiwan was simply assumed.

In the US, the Wall Street Journal was also doing much the same thing, plumping for great power competitions that can only end badly, rather than great power cooperation which, when it goes well, spares us the body bags, the funerals and the flag fluttering.

Protests & strikes rage on in France, MPs 'threatened with guillotine' ahead of crucial vote Signs of the Times

The French government has survived two parliamentary no-confidence votes over President Emmanuel Macron's decision to push through a controversial pension reform bill without lawmakers' approval. The failed motions on Monday were followed by renewed violent unrest overnight. The first no-confidence motion, tabled by a small group of opposition lawmakers, garnered significant support in the National Assembly, dominated by Macron's centrist alliance. The motion fell just nine votes short of the 287 required to pass. The second motion, put forward by the right-wing National Rally party, was backed by only 94 lawmakers. Despite failing to pass the motions, some opposition lawmakers urged the government to resign anyway. "The government is already dead in the eyes of the French," left-wing MP Mathilde Panot said after the votes. "It doesn't have any legitimacy anymore." Comment: She has a point; polls have shown that 52% of people support a 'social explosion' movement against the...

700 NYPD riot cops mobilized, steel barriers deployed ahead of potential Trump arrest Signs of the Times

The New York Police Department (NYPD) has mobilized 700 riot cops and deployed steel barricades around the Manhattan Criminal Court in anticipation of civil disorder, should the Manhattan District Attorney's office order the arrest of former President Donald Trump, following a potential grand jury indictment for allegedly paying a former porn star for her silence ahead of his 2016 presidential campaign. As the NY Times gleefully reports, "He would be fingerprinted. He would be photographed. He could even be handcuffed. And if Donald J. Trump is indicted by a Manhattan grand jury in the days ahead for his role in a hush money payment to a porn star, the former president of the United States of America will be read the standard Miranda warning: He will be told that he has the right to remain silent and the right to an attorney."

Biden issues first veto of his presidency over influence from 'MAGA Republicans' Signs of the Times

President Joe Biden vetoed a bill for the first time in his presidency on Monday, arguing that the legislation was overly influenced by "MAGA Republicans." The Republican-led legislation prevented Biden's administration from taking environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG) issues into account when making investment decisions. GOP lawmakers argue ESG is a measure of a corporation's loyalty to "woke" cultural movements and should not be taken into account. "I just vetoed my first bill. This bill would risk your retirement savings by making it illegal to consider risk factors MAGA House Republicans don't like. Your plan manager should be able to protect your hard-earned savings whether Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene likes it or not," Biden announced in a Monday tweet. The bill specifically ended enforcement of a new Labor Department rule that urged private retirement plan fiduciaries to consider ESG in their investment decisions.

This Has Got to Stop Signs of the Times

"As the evidence mounts of an even broader censorship effort by the Biden administration, the Democrats' attacks have become more unhinged and unscrupulous. After shredding any fealty to free speech, they now are attacking journalists, demanding their sources and claiming their reporting is a public threat." Jonathan Turley And it will stop because, as the old wag Herb Stein laid down in his law years ago: Things that can't go on, stop. Which raises the question: which things? And the answer is the things Western Civ is doing in its attempted suicide: inciting war, recklessly running up debt, persecuting its own citizens and stealing their liberties, subjecting them to medical malfeasance, destroying their goods production and food-growing capabilities, and subjecting the public to incessant mind-fuckery in a campaign to falsify and disfigure reality. A consortium of public and corporate bureaucracies has institutionalized the falsification of reality under the pretense of saving...

Ukraine's Crimea military plans detailed by Bild Signs of the Times

The German newspaper has cited an unnamed NATO official as claiming that Kiev is preparing to strike in Zaporozhye and Lugansk... Russia and Ukraine are approaching a decisive period in their conflict, with Kiev aiming to sever the Russian land bridge to Crimea this spring, Germany's Bild newspaper has reported. The tabloid cited an anonymous NATO source who claimed the bloc is providing Ukraine with everything it needs to retake its former territories. In a report on Tuesday, Bild quoted a "leading" NATO official as stating that the alliance's analysts expect the conflict to reach a climax in the spring and summer. The official expressed confidence that heavy weaponry being delivered to Ukraine will be brought to bear in several counteroffensives as early as May. "The coming six months will be a key period in the war not only for Ukraine, but also for the allies," the unnamed source predicted. While refusing to go into detail regarding planned operations, the official asserted...

Biden signs legislation to declassify info on COVID-19 origins Signs of the Times

President Biden on Monday signed legislation to declassify information related to the origins of COVID-19 after the measure was passed unanimously in Congress. The House had passed the bill earlier this month, but the White House had been non-committal about whether Biden would sign it into law. Biden said in a statement: "We need to get to the bottom of COVID-19's origins to help ensure we can better prevent future pandemics. My Administration will continue to review all classified information relating to COVID-19's origins, including potential links to the Wuhan Institute of Virology. "In implementing this legislation, my Administration will declassify and share as much of that information as possible, consistent with my constitutional authority to protect against the disclosure of information that would harm national security." The president noted that he directed intelligence agencies in 2021 to investigate the virus' origins. The legislation, titled the COVID-19 Origin Act,...

Comer says '6 or 7 Biden family members' may have been involved in overseas business schemes Signs of the Times

House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer believes that more than half a dozen members of the Biden clan may have been involved in various worldwide business schemes that profited off their family name. Comer, whose committee is investigating the Biden family's business dealings, shared the insight in a Wednesday night interview with Fox News host Laura Ingraham. Referring to his panel's far-reaching probe, Comer (R-KY) said: "At the end of this I think we're gonna see there are probably six or seven Biden family members that were involved in various business schemes around the world." Comer didn't mention any names in the interview and declined to reveal the identity of the unnamed Biden family member who got proceeds from a $3 million wire to Hunter Biden associate John "Rob" Walker just weeks after Joe Biden left the vice presidency in 2017.

Tremors before an earthquake: on the coming financial crisis Signs of the Times

Note: we haven't reached peak money printing yet, but that's coming. With the current financial uncertainty, I wanted to take a few minutes and give you my take on what's happening with the banking industry, the financial crisis, the recession, and where I believe we're headed. Bottom Line Up Front: This financial crisis will end the short-term boom-bust cycle and, more importantly, end the long-term boom-bust cycle with catastrophic consequences. This is the event you should be preparing for. Here's why I think this. First, right now, banks can park their cash at the Federal Reserve risk-free at nearly a 5% yield, which reduces the incentive for them to approve loans heading into a period of financial uncertainty. The net result is that we're likely to see credit rationing as banks improve their reserve ratios by pulling back on loans. This will decrease economic activity. Second, this is accelerating the end of the short-term boom-bust cycle as credit availability dries up and...

I am the "US-based Kremlin intermediary" that tried to help Tucker Carlson book an interview with Putin Signs of the Times

Tucker Carlson accused the NSA of spying on his personal communications when he tried to schedule an interview with Russian President Vladimir Putin. I can corroborate his story. On March 10, Fox News host Tucker Carlson told the Full Send podcast that the US government "broke into [his] text messages" in the summer of 2021, just months before the launch of Russia's February 2022 invasion of Ukraine. Carlson claimed the spying occurred as he was planning a trip to Russia, where he hoped to record a conversation with the country's president. According to Carlson, he learned of the surveillance after a US government source arranged to meet him in Washington and proceeded to share information with him that only someone with access to his private, personal text messages could have known. "This person's like... 'Are you planning a trip to go see Putin?' This was the summer before the war started. And I was like, 'how would you know that? I haven't told anybody,'" Carlson recalled. After a heavy storm rolled over Lake Erie and through Buffalo, New York the area was blanketed in ice and snow. The city of Buffalo got absolutely blanketed in snow this Winter. The recorded snow total for Buffalo has reached an eye-watering 133.3 so far. That is 44.1 above normal for Buffalo. We are officially into Spring but there's always a chance of more snow like the heavy Lake Erie storm that turned cars into ice cubes last weekend. The massive lake effect snow storm his Buffalo on Saturday, March 18th. The @BuffaloWeather Twitter account which tracks severe weather in Upstate New York from the Great Lakes to the Adirondacks shared videos and pictures that look other-worldly. Trump moves to crush 'flawed' Georgia election inquiry Signs of the Times

Former President Donald Trump's lawyers moved on Monday to quash the report from a special grand jury in Georgia's 2020 election inquiry. The legal team also seeks to "preclude the use of any evidence derived" from the report and the recusal of Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis's office, according to The New York Times. "The results of the investigation cannot be relied upon and, therefore, must be suppressed given the constitutional violations," Trump's attorneys wrote in their motion in Georgia court. The attorneys asked that the motion get a hearing by a different judge than the one who oversaw the special grand jury.

Biden admin glosses over State Department's Ukrainian abuses in human rights report Signs of the Times

The State Department's annual assessment ultimately blames Russia for Kiev's transgressions An annual human rights report, published by the US State Department on Monday, adopts a light touch in assessing human rights abuses in Ukraine. The study blames the censorship of media, bans on political parties and extrajudicial executions in Ukraine on Russia, though some of these processes had begun before Moscow launched its military assault, in early 2022. Kiev's crackdown on the Ukrainian Orthodox Church is not mentioned at all. The report notes that businessman Denis Kireev was "allegedly killed during his arrest by the Security Service of Ukraine [SBU] after it obtained a recording of Kireyev allegedly implicating himself in treason." It goes on to quote the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) saying "the circumstances of [Kireev's] death remain unclear."

Observations on the Ukrainian War, no. 3 Signs of the Times

Ukraine Is Winning? Westerners like Joe Biden and Michael McFaul continue to assert that Ukraine is winning the NATO-Russia Ukrainian War. The reality is far different. The war could end this year with a complete collapse of the Ukrainian army and Maidan regime. This is not a certain outcome as yet but is possible if not this year then certainly in 2024 in lieu of some negotiated end to war or at least the fighting when Russian, Ukrainian and American presidential elections are scheduled. The election offing raises the stakes of the Ukrainian outcome, which is bleak for Kiev and Washington. Ukraine is running out of artillery shells and firing systems are suffering high attrition. The US has announced plans to produce 50,000 shells next year for Ukraine, but Ukraine is using 90,000 per month, ten times less than Russian and allied forces are using. Moscow has still to commit its newly mobilized troops in an all-out counteroffensive, but nevertheless Russian, Donbass, and Wagner...

Trump posts late-night video to supporters Signs of the Times

The former US president posted footage on Truth Social, warning Americans it would be in their best interests to stand up for him Former US President Donald Trump rallied his supporters with a video posted on Monday night to his Truth Social platform, condemning the "four horrible, radical left Democratic investigations" that have not yet managed to sink his political career. The video came days after Trump warned he would soon be arrested on charges stemming from the Stormy Daniels scandal, in which his former lawyer Michael Cohen allegedly paid hush money to the porn actress. In the video, the 2024 presidential candidate described how previous lengthy, well-funded investigations against him had failed to prise him from the White House. Special Counsel Robert Mueller's "Russian collusion" probe, the FBI raid on his Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach, and the "Stormy Horseface Daniels extortion plot" were all "sick" and "fake news," he said.

The Iraq War didnt kill liberal internationalism, just our ability to debate it The Duck of Minerva

Twenty year recollections of the 2003 invasion of Iraq are popping up. Some are debating whether there were any positive outcomes from the war, others reflecting on what it meant for those who fought (on the US side) or suffered (on the Iraqi side). The Iraq war has played a big role in my career, but I wanted to talk about what it means for the liberal internationalist orientation to the world.

The Iraq War and Me

In the first lecture of my classes, I tell my students that the 9/11 attacks were my second week of college, and discuss what a big impact they had on my choice of career and research area. Thats true, but I really should talk about the Iraq war as well.

As the build up to the war began, my classmates and I at my isolated lefty college were shocked. How could anyone want to start a second war after just invading Afghanistan? How could anyone think Iraq had anything to do with 9/11? How could anyone believe this was a good idea?

I soon realized it didnt matter what I thought. Conservative friends and family members were swept up in post-9/11 patriotism/panic.

Some have argued that neoconservative adventures like the Iraq war are the end result of liberal internationalism, and it should be abandoned

And then, during spring break, the war began. I watched in shock as the United States unleashed its might on Iraq. I was torn. I wasnt one of those lefties who defended Saddam Hussein (we had some at my college). I wanted him gone. But even at 20 I knew this wasnt the way to do it.

I continued with my plan to work in the US intelligence community while also pursuing scholarly studies. I got an internship with a defense contractor, was assigned to an intelligence agency. A few years into my career, I got accepted to a PhD program, was offered a promotion at my firm, and was offered a permanent job with the government agency. I went the PhD route (whether or not that was the right choice is the topic for another post).

The Iraq War and liberal internationalism

I said this post wasnt going to me about me, and I meant it. I gave this background to explain how I became involved in the bigger debate about the Iraq war: whether it invalidated liberal internationalism. While I was working in DC I also became part of a foreign policy group, the Truman National Security Project, meant to revive muscular liberal internationalism within the Democratic Party. I left after a few years, but the debates we had there stuck with me.

Liberal internationalism is a specific orientation towards the world. Advocates believe there is an international order that can be mutually beneficial. States should resolve disputes peacefully and multilaterally, through the United Nations and other international organizations. Human rights should trump narrow security interests. And states foreign policy shou...

However, so far we have not observed such readiness on their part," Putin stated. UK to Send Depleted Uranium Ammunition to Ukraine CLG News

Breaking: UK to Send Depleted Uranium Ammunition to Ukraine --Russia has previously warned the use of depleted uranium will be considered an attack by a 'dirty nuke' | 21 March 2023 | United Kingdom Deputy Minister of Defense Annabelle Goldie publicly stated today that the UK will supply Ukraine with depleted uranium (DU) ammunition for some of the weapons systems supplied by NATO. Russia has previously warned the use of depleted uranium will be considered an attack by a "dirty nuke" and will result in a nuclear response... On January 25, this web site reported that Konstantin Gavrilov, the head of the Russia Delegation to the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) has just publicly thrown down the nuclear gauntlet to the collective west, in an official statement. Gavrilov said that he has been instructed by his government to announce: "We know that the Leopard-2 tank, as well as the Bradley and Marder infantry fighting vehicles, are armed with uranium-core armor-piercing projectiles, the use of which leads to [radioactive] contamination of the area, as happened in Yugoslavia and Iraq. 'Tremendous Amount of Danger' - Secret Service Recommends Virtual Arraignment of Trump CLG News

'Tremendous Amount of Danger' - Secret Service Recommends Virtual Arraignment of Trump | 21 March 2023 | White House Secret Service reportedly recommended that New York state authorities pursue a virtual arrest of President Donald Trump in a pending case by the Manhattan district attorney, citing a "tremendous amount of danger" by attempting a physical arrest at his residence in Florida. Sources speaking with Fox News said the meeting, held at NYPD headquarters on Monday, encompassed an all-hands-on-deck effort required to execute the first criminal arrest of a president in the nation's history. Should a physical arrest be needed, the Secret Service would take the lead. By leaking news of an impending indictment, Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg has brought a host of logistical nightmares on officers involved in the case. "That created a lot of security issues. The chance of anyone getting hurt has dramatically increased," the source said.

Craigslist Craig Funded the Censorship-Industrial Complex to Silence Dissent Online CLG News

Craigslist Craig Funded the Censorship-Industrial Complex to Silence Dissent Online | 21 March 2023 | The billionaire founder of Craigslist, Craig Newmark, is using his fortune to further shape journalism into partisan activism to help Democrats win elections. He is the nation's leading financier of the "mis"- and "disinformation" industries and is now the largest private stakeholder in Americas legacy journalism schools. The most recent Twitter Files released by Matt Taibbi add a deeply disturbing new layer to the story. They show Newmark is at the very heart of an incestuous web of government agencies, nonprofit organizations, and corporate media institutions operating in concert to censor political opponents on social media. Newmark is financing the largest coordinated assault on American free speech in living memory. On March 9, journalist Matt Taibbi outlined how pre-Elon Musk Twitter acted as "a partner to government," working in concert with the Department of Homeland Security, Federal Bureau of Investigation, Department of Health and Human Services, Treasury, the National Security Agency, and local police. An elaborate system for reporting hundreds of thousands of accounts was set up, and Twitter obliged by deleting thousands of accounts on demand.

Biden assures Americans their bank deposits are safe in Ukraine Signs of the Times

Amid the monumental collapse of several banks over the last few days and broader fears that the banking system is no longer safe, President Biden made a statement to assure Americans that all their bank deposits are perfectly safe in Ukraine. "Folks don't worry. Due to the decisive actions of this administration, everyone's money is safe in Ukraine," said Biden. "I withdrew all the money and shipped it over there last night myself! My son Hunter personally supervised the transfer! That's leadership! I'm sure the Ukrainians will put your money to good use by buying bazookas and paying the pensions of government officials. I will take no questions at this time." Biden then did an about-face and spent 15 minutes trying to walk out of the room as he couldn't find the door. Americans are being assured to wait until the war in Ukraine is over and they pay us back before making any large withdrawals. At publishing time, 12 more banks had collapsed during Biden's speech.

ABC's Sarah Ferguson grills Russian ambassador to Australia on Ukraine and alleged war-crimes - partial transcript (We) can do better

In her interview with the Russian ambassador to Australia, 7.30 Report 21 March 2023,  , I think that Sarah Ferguson failed to give her audience adequate information about the nature of the International Criminal Court, and the fact that neither the US nor Russia are signatories. The US has threatened members of the ICC in ways that would make them fearful of incurring US displeasure.[1] This makes the court unreliable in disputes involving the United States, which the Ukraine conflict clearly does. She also failed to explain how the United States is able to exert pressure on the UN, although this is clear in voting patterns during controversies, which reflect dependencies and fear. Sarah Ferguson did not give the credit due from a professional journalist to the Ukraine-Russia conflict having two sides. She seems to be engaged in a propaganda effort that aimed to consolidate Australias support for US-NATO involvement in Ukraine.

Sarah Ferguson was the caricature of an authoritarian headmistress dealing with a pupil from the wrong side of town who had been reported as a bully by the child of wealthy and influential parents. Clearly the odious child was there to be quelled by an avalanche of accusations framed as insults, and to learn that no-one was interested in his side of the story.

Sarah: For only the third time with the International Criminal Court, a serving president has been targeted by an arrest warrant. The ICC has found Russian President Vladimir Putin criminally responsible for war-crimes, specifically the deportation of Ukrainian children from occupied areas of Ukraine. Separately, a UN-backed inquiry did its own report today, detailing war-crimes by Russian troops during the war. Dr Alexi Palovski is the Kremlins ambassador to Australia. I spoke to him before the arrest warrant was made public.

Sarah: Ambassador Pavlovski, welcome to 7.30.

Ambassador: Good day.

Saras first question takes the form of a ridiculous insult: Ambassador, youre here in Australia, enjoying the benefits of a free and open society, how do you live with yourself, representing the repressive, dictatorial Putin regime?

The ambassador laughs.

Sara notes, You find that funny.

Ambassador: What I find funny is your way to start an interview.

Sarah says, Pretty straight question, with a self-satisfied grin on her face. [Ill teach you to stand up to the protegs of rich Americans, you execrable little slav!]

Ambassador: I never had problems living in...

Always Wanting More Dissident Voice

Always wanting more is an operational definition of hedonism. This brief article is my mea culpa. Inexplicably, I overlooked hedonism per se as a trait in my psychoscope of the evil superpower elite in Americas corpocracy.1 In my defense, I did briefly allude to greed as an outgrowth of ambition.

Why Always Wanting More?

The ancient Greek poet Ovid had an answer, the Goddess of Plenty. Americas power elite are like Erysichthon, the greedy timber merchant in Ovids ancient tale. Erysichthon cuts down a sacred tree, angering Ceres, the Goddess of Plenty. She condemns him to eat everything in sight including himself after all else had been consumed.

Well, thanks Ovid, but Id like several other sources to chime in with their explanations, not that I expect them to be anymore edifying than you explanation.

The Journalists Answer

I always rely on good journalism as a source for my writings. Guess what I found? A handbook on hedonism, no less! Its a step-by-step guide to gluttony. The author is a New York Times best-selling author.2 I bet it is a best seller among Americas super rich!

The Philosophers Answer

While there must be millions of PhD philosophers on our planet who think for a living, trying to find them on the Internet is a chore. The first one I stumbled upon was a philosophers article entitled The Feels Good Theory of Pleasure.3 In order to read it I would have had to pay $39.95 for a PDF copy! Had I stumbled upon a case of the greedy writing about greed?

The Psychoanalysts Answer

Indonesias Betrayal of Palestine: Hosting Israel in Under-20 World Cup MintPress News

As though someone was trying to prove me right, a few days after I published the article By Recognizing Israel, Muslim Countries Are Betraying the Palestinian Cause, I received a message from friends in Indonesia. The piece talks about the seemingly unstoppable movement within majority Muslim and Arab countries pushing towards normalizing relations with Israel. The message from my Indonesian friends mentioned that Indonesia will be hosting the Under-20 world football (soccer) championships this summer. The Israeli team qualified and will be participating, and as of the time these words are being written, the Indonesian government is permitting the Israeli team to enter the country and play.

I was asked to send a video urging the Indonesian government to refrain from allowing the Israeli team to enter. The video has gone viral in Indonesia and has been shown on television and mentioned in the local press, adding to an ongoing campaign to ask the government to maintain the countrys long-standing stance against Zionism.

Indonesia has never had diplomatic relations with Israel and maintains its position in support of the Palestinian people in their struggle for freedom and against the apartheid regime. However, as I mentioned in the earlier article, there are forces within Indonesia, Malaysia, Pakistan and the Arab countries who have not yet normalized relations with Israel to do so and quickly.

There can be no doubt that the United States is placing pressure on these governments to move in that direction, and there are benefits promised. This is particularly true with regard to Saudi Arabia, who, for now, chose to renew diplomatic ties with Iran and not Israel. When asked about this rather unexpected development, President Joe Biden demonstrated very obvious frustration. The Saudi governments move has to be seen as a serious blow to Bidens administration. In its desperate attempt to legitimize...

Reckless Capitalist Banks Rescued by Government Socialism Again! Dissident Voice

Once again, government socialism ultimately backed by taxpayers is saving reckless midsized banks and their depositors. Silicon Valley Bank (S.V.B) and Signature Bank in New York greedily mismanaged their risk levels and had to be closed down. The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), in return, to avoid a bank panic and a run on other midsized banks went over its $250,000 insurance cap per account and guaranteed all deposits no matter how large, which are owned by the rich and corporations in those banks.

Permitting such imprudent risk-taking flows directly from the Trump-GOP Congressional weakening of regulations in 2018, which was supported by dozens of Democrats, led by bank toady Senator Mark Warner (D-VA). That bipartisan deregulation provided a filibuster-proof passage by the Senate.

The other culprit is the Federal Reserve. Its very fast interest rate hikes reduced the asset value of those two banks holdings in long-term Treasury bonds, which reduced their capital reserves. With the what, me worry snooze of the California Department of Financial Protection and Innovation, S.V.B had little supervision from state regulatory examiners and compliance enforcers.

Actually, big depositors sniffed the shakiness of these two banks and acted ahead of the regulatory cops with mass withdrawals that sealed the fate of S.V.B. Imagine, S.V.B was giving out bonuses hours before its collapse. For this cluelessness, the banks CEO, Gregory Becker, took home about eleven million dollars in pay last year.

All this was predicted by Senator Elizabeth Warren and Rep. Katie Porter. Warren, in particular, specifically opposed the 2018 Congressional lifting of stronger liquidity and capital requirements along with regular stress tests for banks with assets over $50 billion. Trumps law allowed the absence of these safeguards to cover banks with assets up to $250 billion. Such de-regulation covered S.V.B and Signature.

Signature Bank had former House Banking Committee Chair Barney Frank on its board of directors. His name is on the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act, which was passed following the 2008 Wall Street collapse. Even Mr. Frank was clueless about what Signatures CEO Joseph DePaolo was mismanaging. (DePaulo was paid $8.6 million last year.)

Of course, the underfunded FDIC doesnt have enough money to make good all the large depositors in these two banks. So, it is increasing the fees charged to all banks for such government insurance. The banks will find ways to pass these surchargers on to their customers.

Other midsized banks may be shaky as more major depositors pull out and put their money into mega-giant banks like JPMorgan Chase, Bank of America and Citigroup, which are universally viewed as too big to fail. The smaller businesses harmed by these closed banks are now on their own. No corporate socialism is as yet saving them.

One of the provisions...

Cheap Algerian Gas vs Rightwing Ideology: Will Italy Change Its Position on Jerusalem? MintPress News

When Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu left Tel Aviv for Rome on March 9, he was flown to Ben Gurion airport in Tel Aviv by a helicopter because anti-government protesters blocked all the roads around it.

Netanyahus visit was not met with much enthusiasm in Italy, either. Pro-Palestine activists in downtown Rome organized a sit-in under the slogan, Nonsei il Benvenuto You Are Not Welcome. An Italian translator, Olga Dalia Padoa, also refused to translate his speech at a Rome synagogue scheduled for March 9.

Even Noemi Di Segni, President of the Union of Italian Jewish Communities, though unsurprisingly reiterating her love and support for Israel, expressed her concern for Israeli state institutions.

Back in Tel Aviv, Israeli opposition leader Yair Lapid slammed Netanyahus trip to Italy as a wasteful and unnecessary weekend on the countrys dime. But Netanyahus trip to Italy had other goals besides spending a weekend in Rome or distracting from the ongoing protests in Israel.

In an interview with the Italian newspaper La Repubblica, published on March 9, the Israeli prime minister explained the lofty objectives behind his trip to Italy. I would like to see more economic cooperation, he said. We have natural gas: we have plenty of it, and I would like to talk about how to bring it to Italy to support its economic growth.

Recently, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni has shuttled between several countries in search of lucrative gas contracts. Not only does Meloni want to secure her countrys need for energy following the Russia-Ukraine crisis, but she also wants Rome to be a central European hub for gas imports and exports. Israel knows this and is particularly wary that Italys major gas deals in Algeria on January 23 could undermine Israels economic and political position in Italy, as Algeria continues to serve as a bulwark of Palestinian solidarity throughout the Middle East and Africa.

Netanyahu had other issues on his mind, aside from gas. On the strategic front, we will discuss Iran. We must prevent it from going nuclear because its missiles could reach many countries, including Europe, and no one wants to be taken hostage by a fundamentalist regime with a nuclear weapon, Netanyahu said with the usual fear-mongering and stereotypical language about his enemies in the Middle East.

Netanyahu has two main demands fro...

Reader-Comments at Russias RT News and Censorship in America Dissident Voice

On March 20, Russias RT News reported, The US Department of Defense announced on Monday that it will send Ukraine another $350 million worth of military aid. The further supplies come as Ukraine reportedly gears up for a spring offensive, despite suffering heavy losses in Donbass. The package is the 34th tranche of military aid doled out to Ukraine by the US since August 2021. The US has given Ukraine more than $32.5 billion in military aid since last February, out of more than $110 billion allocated by the administration of US President Joe Biden for military and economic assistance to Kiev.

Some reader-comments there were against Russias Government, such as Trish: What a disaster for Russia, the sooner Putin goes the better. But others were instead against Americas Government, such as TBTB: And the US says it is not party [to] the war? It instigated it with NATO expansion to Russias borders, a coup in Ukraine to install a neo-Nazi proxy regime, arming it, training it, financing it, providing it with war plans and intelligence, plus mercenaries and diplomatic support. If this is not being party to the conflict, at minimum, then when Russia hits back no one should be surprised. It is self-defense. It has already knocked out a US sophisticated spying drone that was collecting intelligence on live combat and passing it to its neo-Nazis to kill Russians.

Whereas the comment from Trish is similar to many that I have read at U.S. news-sites, the one from TBTB is so fundamentally different from that American norm so that it raises the question as to whether it is reflecting information that appears on Russian news-sites but not on American ones. If that is the case, then why would that be so? Is it because the comment reflects realities that are hidden in U.S. news-media, or instead because it reflects non-realities that are prohibited to be published in the U.S.?

If it reflects realities that are hidden in U.S. news-media, then why would ANY realities be hidden in U.S. news-media? Should they be?

If it instead reflects non-realities that are prohibited to be published in the U.S., then who is doing this censorship and who ought to be legally authorized to make such censorship-decisions in the U.S.? Is there a severe need in the U.S. for new legislation which will delineate how news-censorship in the U.S. is to be done? Would it be best to continue the current legal standard in America that censorship in America is ONLY...

Jesus Belatedly Charged With Sexual Assault Dissident Voice

World famous feminist lawyer Gloria Allbucks revealed shocking details contained in previously unread biblical blogs from the Dead Ocean Scrolls which show that Mary Magdaline suffered outrageous sexual abuse from Jesus but was too frightened of his power to say anything at the time.

Now that times have changed and brave people are coming forward we can speak out for her and finally show the world what really went on in the days before TV, the internet and lucrative litigation said Allbucks, whose press conference was attended by hundreds of elected officials, dozens of paparazzi, several former clergy awaiting trial, and six members of Girl Scouts of America who had come to the wrong press conference.

Calls for re-crucifixion came from Atheists, Agnostics, Jews, Muslims, Democrats, Republicans, the Little Sisters of the Poor and the Big Brothers of the Rich, while many devout Christians asked  for restraint and listening to both sides before rushing to judgement. Informed that both sides had been dead for thousands of years if they ever existed at all, they urged prayer and that Catholics conduct a second collection for all the suffering children in Americas charter schools.

Allbucks said she was dropping her case against statue defilers for their vicious cruelty to animals in removing bird toilets from public places and would put the full force of her skill into this case to finally reveal the untold story of a sexists criminal who fooled the world for far too long.

When this case is over, things will never be the same for men, women and the other recently discovered sexes, she said.

Several of the elected officials in attendance were later accused of sexually molesting the Girl Scouts in attendance and another lawsuit is expected.

Harriet Tubman Exposed as Vicious Anti-Semite Dissident Voice

Plans to put Underground Railroad hero Harriet Tubman on the U.S. $20 bill have been permanently shelved due to her recently uncovered lifelong anti-Semitism, announced Fox Abramson of the Anti-Defamation League.

Its incredibly bad judgment that she was ever even considered as a candidate, Abramson complained. They called her Moses but she didnt lift a finger to help the victims of the 1859 Odessa pogrom in Russia, ignoring their plight and continuing to focus laser-like on black people out of pure spite, he added.

A more vicious hate crime could hardly be imagined.

Psychologists are probing Tubmans history of Jew-hatred to determine where it came from and why it manifested itself in such an ugly manner. Early hints suggest she was angry that Jesus failed to attend his own Bar Mitzvah and took it out on the entire self-chosen master race. Other possibilities include resentment that Moses wife saved her son from angel attacks by circumcising him, an option that was denied the childless Tubman.

Its easy to see how she might have had a What am I chopped liver? relationship with God, says Minister Fairy Jalwell of the Very Reformed Protestant Church.

In the wake of the anti-Semitism charge the U.S. Treasury Department has been bombarded with alternate suggestions for currency changes, including Representative Ilhan Its All About The Benjamins   Omar for the $100 bill, Joe Biden for the $1 bill (nearly worthless), and, at his own suggestion, Donald Trump for the upcoming trillion dollar bill because, no one has a bigger bill than me.

The First Round: NSAs Effort against International Terrorism in the 1970s Cryptologic Almanac, November December 2002 by Robert J. Hanyok The Black Vault

As far back as the late 19th century, terrorism has been the tool used by many national, ethnic, political, or religious groups or movements to further their aims . Historical examples include the Irish Republican Army (known once as the Irish Republican Brotherhood), the Serbian Black Hand, and the Zionist Irgun Zvai Leumi, and a variety of anarchist groups. However, there is a problem of perception . No doubt that many movements have committed acts that can be interpreted as terrorist. More often, though, criteria, such as politics , propaganda, and ethnic or religious sympathies , were more important when it came to labeling a group terrorist. One important characteristic of these many groups was that usually they confined their terrorist acts within the borders of the nation or territory in which they existed, and that national military or security forces dealt with them, if not always successfully.

An Idaho hospital made the decision to axe its labor and delivery department, saying the "political climate" made it too difficult to keep it staffed. "The Idaho Legislature continues to introduce and pass bills that criminalize physicians for medical care nationally recognized as the standard of care. Reality Tunnels: How to Control & Re-Program Your Mind Waking Times

Jack Fox-Williams, New Dawn
Waking Times

When I was in secondary school, a teacher showed me an animated optical illusion in which a dancer appears to be spinning in one direction. I was adamant that the dancer was spinning clockwise, while my teacher insisted it was spinning counterclockwise. She then told me that you could change the direction of the dancer by focusing on the feet. I gazed with meditative fixation, and suddenly, to my amazement, the dancer started spinning counterclockwise! My teacher explained that since there are no visual cues for three-dimensional depth, your mind can determine what direction the dancer spins.

At that moment, I realised that reality is a construct of the mind, and we all potentially see the same world differently. I may have put it in less eloquent terms than that (considering I was only a teenager), but there was a fundamental shift in my understanding. The illusion made me realise that the notion of objective truth was essentially arbitrary since our subjective beliefs mediate sensory experience.

My teacher and I could have argued for hours, days or weeks as to which direction the dancer was spinning; science couldnt have proven either of us correct since it was a matter of perception rather than truth. In reality, the dancer was spinning in both directions, but since the brain has a natural tendency to classify, categorise and catalogue information in binary terms (up/down, left/right, black/white, clockwise/counterclockwise), the animated optical illusion appears monodirectional.

There are numerous examples of this in our day-to-day lives, like when we fail to appreciate other peoples viewpoints because we perceive the world differently. We believe we are right despite the multiple (if not infinite) interpretations about the nature of reality.

What are Reality Tunnels?

The countercultural guru Timothy Leary coined the term reality-tunnel to describe our filtered perceptions of the world. Robert Anton Wilson later developed the concept to describe pre-composed patterns of thinking which limit and distort the perception of reality by reducing complexity and options.1 According to Wilson, reality-tunnels shape our phenomenological sense of self, editing out experiences that do not support our beliefs while focusing on those which do.2

An advocate for capitalism, for example, will gather facts to s...

Police failing to teach officers importance of free speech while spending thousands on pronoun training Signs of the Times

Police forces are failing to train officers on the importance of free speech while teaching them obscure pronouns, according to a report from the Free Speech Union into the free speech crisis in British policing. The Times has the story. The Free Speech Union (FSU) said there was a "free speech crisis" in British policing and that forces were not emphasising the importance of freedom of expression to officers. Officers are undergoing tens of thousands of hours of equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) training in which they are told that gender is "culturally determined" and about the use of pronouns including "fae" and "faer". At least one force still uses the "genderbread" diagram, which illustrates the notion that biological sex is irrelevant to an individual's innate sense of gender.

Asian leader warns Putin warrant could spark nuclear war | 20 March 2023 | The issuance of an arrest warrant for Russian President Vladimir Putin by the International Criminal Court (ICC) could lead to nuclear war, as well as creating other implications globally, Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen has warned. The warrant has only sowed further division in the world, potentially jeopardizing diplomatic efforts to reach a settlement of the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, which has been raging for over a year already, the PM believes. "This ICC warrant to arrest Putin will complicate efforts to find a peaceful solution to the conflict between Ukraine and Russia, especially before [Chinese] President Xi Jinping's visit to Moscow during which he is expected to mediate for peace," the PM said in a social media statement on Sunday. ...Moreover, the ICC move has sharply increased the risk of events spiraling into a nuclear exchange in Europe, the PM warned.

Putin's trip to Donbass was 'spontaneous' - Kremlin Signs of the Times

The Russian president made an unplanned stop in Mariupol where he met with locals and checked on the restoration of the city. Russian President Vladimir Putin's surprise visit to the Donbass region was largely "spontaneous" and effectively turned into a full-fledged "working trip," Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov revealed on Sunday. The overnight trip was the first time Putin has visited Donbass since it broke away from Ukraine in 2014. It was eventually incorporated into Russia following referendums last year. During Putin's stay in the city of Mariupol, he met locals and visited flats in a newly constructed residential building. The city was the scene of intense fighting early in the conflict between Russia and Ukraine and ended up being heavily damaged in the process. "Initially, the plan was only to visit this residential complex, and, of course, neither meeting the citizens, nor paying them a visit [in their homes] was planned. It was all entirely spontaneous," Peskov told...

This week marks the first time the Chinese leader has traveled to Russia since Moscow launched its military offensive in Ukraine, although the two presidents have been in frequent contact.

Bill Pending in Israel Would Criminalize Talking About Jesus - in Person, Online, Print and by Mail: Two Years Prison CLG News

Bill Pending in Israel Would Criminalize Talking About Jesus - in Person, Online, Print and by Mail: Two Years Prison | 20 March 2023 | Christian Leaders are urging Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to stop a bill pending in the Israeli Knesset (Parliament) that would make it criminal to tell people about Jesus, inside Israel. Just days before Good Friday, Palm Sunday, and Easter, the bill would punish believers for sharing the Gospel of Jesus. The bill was introduced by two ultra-Orthodox members of Netanyahu's Coalition -- United Torah Judaism party members Moshe Gafni and Yacov Asher. The bill would make it ILLEGAL to share, in personal conversation, or produce content online, in print, or by mail, talking about Jesus or His Gospel... The punishment for doing so would be "one year imprisonment." If the conversation is with minor - someone under the age of 18 - the punishment would be "two years imprisonment." This bill would apply to people having spiritual conversations with Israelis of any religion. However, in their official explanation of the bill, the two Israeli legislators specifically emphasized the warning to stop Christians, in particular.

Recalling the Future and TIME Terra Forming Terra

Understand that time as we know it looks continous when it is actually experienced a page at a time.  Those pages are super thin and it may well be that we actually recall those pages by jumping along a few pages at a time.  Why would we not?

It is also reported that a need to jump forward or backward in time is actually accomadated when it does not cause problems.  Such as completing a four hour road trip often done in side two hours.  This was actually treported to me by an informant who got to understand that I am thinking about TIME.  This alone tells me that this is not uncommon.

It is just that we are not running around noticing this, or if noticed, we are not talking about it.  A little like UFOs and Bigfoot.

My take home is that our mind can and will recall a future page when it suits us and that often closes the loop on new knowledge.  This makes remembering the past a good way to locked into some past truth and clearly explains the natural rejection of new knowledge when presented.  That is likely why wee teach new knowldege to thirty or so students at a time.  It allows the bias to be overcome.

Is the Proton a Plasmoid? Terra Forming Terra

Nice but that question is likely too early. I do think the issue is boundedness which a neo crystalline structure maintains and that is my approach with Cloud cosmology.  Trying something else is likely to end up with all sorts of things like the above image.

It may be helpful or not and just how do we confirm?

So I am neutral at best here.

Imitating Nature: The Fastest Route to Fusion

Plasma structures that are confined by their own magnetic fields, called plasmoids, are central to LPPFusions approach to fusion energy generation. It is in the dense, hot plasmoids that the fusion reactions in our FF-2B device take place. Researchers have long known that plasmoids are formed in nature at much larger astrophysical scales in the suns atmosphere, in the formation of stars, all the way up to giant quasars. Weve used observation of astrophysical objects to create our theories of plasmoids and filament in our dense plasma focus device (DPF). We imitate nature as the fastest path to fusion.

Long Before Trees Overtook the Land, Earth Was Covered by Giant Mushrooms Terra Forming Terra

How odd really, but there you are.  Evolution fills space when it is not occupied.  It also tells us that we can do a lot more with mushrooms which we are now mastering.  Mushrooms do have a texture akin to some meats and useful nutrient profiles.

So yes, we need to get serious because they may well feed us wonderfully.  Portobello actually provides a superior replacement for beef hamburger.

Just saying.

Macron narrowly survives crucial no-confidence votes in parliament Signs of the Times

Emmanuel Macron's government narrowly survived a no-confidence vote in the French parliament Monday, after it pushed through a deeply unpopular pensions overhaul without a vote last week, sparking outrage and spontaneous protests across the country. In a high-stakes vote in France's lower house of parliament, 278 MPs, mostly from the left and the far right, voted in favor of a cross-party motion of no confidence, falling just short of the 287 votes needed to topple the government. A second motion, backed only by the far-right National Rally, did not garner enough votes. The outcome of the first vote was much tighter than anticipated and increases the pressure on Macron to withdraw his reform. It may also give a boost to the protest movement led by trade unions against the measures. The French president will also be under pressure to respond either by addressing the country or reshuffling his government. Speaking ahead of the votes, the centrist MP Charles de Courson, one of the...

The Art and Science of Glass Bottle Blowing: Techniques and Skills Required The Event Chronicle

Glass bottle blowing is a time-honored craft that combines artistry and science to produce beautiful, functional containers. It is a technique that has been used for centuries and is still a popular method of glass production today. This process requires a great deal of skill and knowledge, as well as a deep understanding of the properties of glass.

The Process

source:newyorker.com

To begin the process, glassblowers first gather molten glass on the end of a blowpipe. The glass is heated in a furnace until it reaches a temperature of around 2,100 degrees Fahrenheit, at which point it becomes pliable and can be shaped. This step is crucial to ensure it remains malleable and easy to work with throughout the process.

Once the glass has been gathered onto the blowpipe, the blower will begin shaping it. They do this by using a variety of tools, such as wooden blocks, jacks, and shears, to shape it into the desired form. It takes a lot of skill and practices to manipulate it in a precise and controlled manner, and many blowers spend years perfecting their technique.

Glass bottle manufacturing is a complex process that requires a great deal of attention to detail and precision. Each step of the process, from gathering the glass to shaping it and annealing it, must be done carefully and correctly to ensure the final product is of high quality. There are many different techniques used in glass bottle blowing, each with its own unique advantages and challenges.

South Africas Power Grid is Failing Armstrong Economics

South Africa is desperate for allies, economic allies. The country is failing and the people are suffering. There is international outrage right now misdirected at South Africa for its desire to host the Bric summit with Russia, China, Brazil, and India. The International Criminal Court (ICC) wants to arrest Putin for his war crimes, and President Cyril Ramaphosa is defending his position to invite Putin before the invitations for the event have even gone out. I warned that countries who were previously banned from discussions at the big table would turn to China and Russia for support since the West has abandoned them. What about Ukraine! the media cries. Well, what about South Africa? No one comments that the conditions in South Africa are WORSE than in Ukraine during an active war.

South Africa was in a bad spot economically long before COVID. GDP grew by a mere 1% between 2012 and 2021, according to the World Bank. The nations entire infrastructure is crumbling, and the power grid is on the verge of complete failure. Blackouts are common, and many blame state-owned power plant Eskom which routinely cuts off the power grid to produce rolling blackouts to conserve power. These rolling blackouts can last over 12 hours. This affects fuel availability, phone and internet coverage, traffic lights, power to hospitals, etc. It also limits the availability of food and water. Crime is more prevalent during blackouts as there are no cameras or security systems. Rape and crimes against women are disgustingly common. Civil unrest is so prevalent that the president issued a state of disaster warning on February 9, long after the situation became irreparable.

COMMENT: Mr. Armstrong, I just wanted to thank you for the education. When you explained that Bitcoin was not some hedge against central banks or an exception to everything out there but was just another trading vehicle, you saved my life for sure my wife would have killed me during the crash. The November turning point proved correct. Now we head into some very interesting times with Directional Changes ahead. The bounce now is the same pattern you see in gold. It is just a trading vehicle and not a store of wealth. Thank you for that reality check.

Sam

REPLY: Yes, spousal abuse can be a major deterrent. Merrill Lynch paid me to teach a client how to trade who had created the biggest one-day loss perhaps in trading history and wrote a check and kept trading. I got him to pay more attention, but when he was winning, he was too busy to watch. He seemed to love to lose money for that got him all geared up. It was his wife that made him stop trading.

Look, Bitcoin is NOT some store of wealth. You will lose your shirt, pants, and spouse if you buy into that. It is a trading vehicle nothing more. Just follow Socrates. That gives at least an unbiased viewpoint. What goes up, comes down and what goes down eventually goes up. That is just the law of the market.

6 Consequences Of People Pleasing Awareness Act

As humans, we all have a natural desire to be liked and accepted by others. While theres nothing inherently wrong with wanting to please others, it becomes problematic when it comes at the cost of our own well-being and happiness.

Personally, I have seen people in my life who are chronic people pleasers, always putting others needs and wants before their own. While they may be initially praised for their accommodating nature, it often leads to feelings of resentment and burnout. They end up feeling drained and stressed from the constant effort of trying to meet everyones expectations.

At the same time, people pleasing can also create a vicious cycle where others come to expect a certain level of accommodation from the people pleaser, leading to even more pressure to please. It can be hard to break out of this cycle, but its important to recognize the negative impact that people pleasing can have on our mental and emotional health.

In my opinion, its crucial to find a healthy balance between valuing relationships with others and taking care of our own needs and desires. This can involve setting boundaries, learning to say no when necessary, and focusing on personal growth and development. By prioritizing our own well-being, we can ultimately lead more fulfilling and authentic lives.

People pleasing is a common behavior where individuals go out of their way to please others, often at the expense of their own needs and desires. While it may seem like a positive trait to always put others first, there are several consequences of people pleasing that can have a negative impact on ones life. Here are 6 consequences of people pleasing:

Loss of Self-Identity

People pleasers often prioritize other peoples needs and opinions over their own, leading to a loss of self-identity. They may find themselves constantly changing their behaviors, preferences, and even their values to fit in with others. Over time, this can lead to a feeling of emptiness or a lack of purpose in life.

Burnout and Stress

People pleasing requires a lot of emotional labor, as individuals may feel the need to constantly monitor and adjust their behavior to meet the expectations of others. This can lead to burnout and stress, as people pleasers may find themselves exhausted and overwhelmed from always putting others first.

Difficulty with Decision-Making

People pleasers often struggle with making decisions, as they may be more focused on what others want or expect from them rather than what they truly want for themselves. This can lead to a lack of confidence and indecisiveness.

Resentment and Bitterness

People pleasers may feel resentful or bitter towards others when their efforts to please are not appreciated or reciprocated. They may feel used or taken advantage of, leading to a negative impact on their relationships and self-estee...

The Top 5 Mistakes Every Parent Makes (And How to Avoid Them) Awareness Act

Parenting is one of the most rewarding and challenging roles that anyone can take on. While every parent wants to do their best for their children, its inevitable that mistakes will be made along the way. Here are the top 5 mistakes that every parent makes, and some tips on how to avoid them:

Overprotecting Your Child

Its natural for parents to want to keep their children safe, but overprotecting them can lead to a lack of independence and self-confidence. Children need to be able to take risks and learn from their mistakes in order to develop resilience and problem-solving skills. To avoid this mistake, try to strike a balance between keeping your child safe and allowing them to explore and take risks in a safe and controlled environment.

Comparing Your Child to Others

Every child is unique, and comparing your child to others can be damaging to their self-esteem and confidence. Children need to be accepted for who they are, not compared to others. To avoid this mistake, focus on your childs strengths and encourage them to develop their own talents and interests, rather than trying to mold them into someone elses idea of success.

Not Setting Clear Boundaries

Children need structure and routine in order to feel secure and develop a sense of responsibility. Without clear boundaries, children may feel lost or confused, leading to behavioral problems or a lack of discipline. To avoid this mistake, set clear expectations and consequences for behavior, and be consistent in enforcing them.

Using Punishment Instead of Discipline

Discipline is about teaching children right from wrong, while punishment is about making them suffer for their mistakes. Punishment can be damaging to a childs self-esteem and can lead to a lack of trust between parent and child. To avoid this mistake, focus on positive reinforcement and praise for good behavior, and use discipline as a way to teach your child how to make better choices.

Not Taking Care of Yourself

Its easy to get so caught up in the demands of parenting that you forget to take care of yourself. However, neglecting your own needs can lead to burnout, resentment, and a lack of patience with your children. To avoid this mistake, make sure to take time for yourself each day, whether its exercising, reading, or just taking a few minutes to relax and recharge.

In conclusion, parenting is a learning experience, and its important to recognize that mistakes will be made along the way. However, by being aware of these common mistakes and taking steps to avoid them, parents can create a more positive and fulfilling parenting experience for themselves and their children. Remember, parenting is a journey, not a destination, and every day is an opportunity to learn and grow as a parent.

10 Long-Term Effects Of Toxic Parenting On Children Awareness Act

Toxic parenting can have a significant impact on children, with many long-term effects that can persist into adulthood. One of the most common effects of toxic parenting is low self-esteem. Children who grow up with toxic parents may struggle to feel worthy or valued, leading to feelings of inadequacy that can persist into adulthood. This can have far-reaching consequences, from difficulties forming healthy relationships to a lack of confidence in ones own abilities.

Another common effect of toxic parenting is anxiety and depression. Children who have experienced emotional or physical abuse, neglect, or other forms of toxic parenting may suffer from anxiety and depression later in life. This can be due to the trauma they experienced in childhood, as well as the ongoing stress of dealing with toxic parents.

Children of toxic parents may also struggle with trust issues. This can include difficulty trusting others in general, as well as difficulty trusting authority figures or others in positions of power. This can have a range of consequences, from difficulty forming healthy relationships to difficulty seeking help when needed.

Toxic parenting can also lead to difficulty with emotional regulation. Children who have experienced emotional abuse or neglect may struggle to manage their emotions in healthy ways, leading to difficulty with stress, anxiety, and other negative emotions later in life. This can also lead to difficulty with coping mechanisms, leading to substance abuse and other negative behaviors.

Overall, the long-term effects of toxic parenting can be severe and long-lasting. However, its important to remember that healing is possible with the right support. Seeking therapy or other mental health support can be an important step in overcoming the effects of toxic parenting and building a fulfilling, healthy life.

The long-term effects of toxic parenting on children can be severe and long-lasting. Here are some common outcomes that adult children of toxic parents may experience:

Low self-esteem

Children who grow up with toxic parents may struggle with feelings of worthlessness and inadequacy, which can lead to low self-esteem as adults.

Anxiety and depression

Toxic parenting can cause significant psychological trauma, which can lead to anxiety and depression in adulthood.

Trust issues

Children who have experienced toxic parenting may struggle to trust others, particularly authority figures, due to their experiences.

Difficulty with relationships

Perfectionism

The US is stocking vaccines for a hypothetical smallpox bio-attack Signs of the Times

Planning for a bio-terrorism smallpox attack, the U.S. government just bought up enough smallpox medication supplies to treat two million people. But given that smallpox was eradicated in 1980 and that the only known remaining samples of the disease are kept under lock and key in the U.S. and Russia, the New York Times points out, some critics are crying foul over the $463 million the government shelled out for the vaccines. Experts fear, though, that terrorists may have secret stockpiles of the virus or could figure out how to reengineer smallpox in the lab. Two million doses of treatment, the Times writes, could contain an outbreak in a large city in the event of terrorists dousing an airport or stadium with pathogens. But around 12 million doses would be needed to combat a nation-wide epidemic.

Gaslighting is a form of emotional abuse that involves manipulating someone into doubting their own perceptions, memories, and sanity. It can be particularly damaging in parent-child relationships because children are more vulnerable to manipulation and may be dependent on their parents for emotional and physical support.

Gaslighting in parent-child relationships can take many forms. For example, a parent may deny that certain events occurred, such as a past instance of abuse or neglect. They may also twist the childs words or actions to make them seem unreasonable or crazy. Additionally, they may use their position of authority to control and intimidate the child, using threats or guilt to get their way.

Over time, gaslighting can have serious psychological effects on the child, including anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and a distorted sense of reality. Children who have experienced gaslighting may struggle with trust and may have difficulty forming healthy relationships in the future.

Its important to recognize the signs of gaslighting in parent-child relationships and to take action to protect the child. This may involve seeking support from a therapist or other mental health professional, setting clear boundaries with the parent, or even cutting off contact if necessary. Remember that gaslighting is a form of abuse, and no one deserves to be treated this way, especially not by a parent.

  1. Denial of Reality: A gaslighting parent may deny or minimize events that the child knows to be true. For example, they might deny that an argument happened, even though the child clearly remembers it. They might also deny their own behavior or blame the child for it.
  2. Twisting the Truth: A gaslighting parent may twist the childs words or actions to make them seem unreasonable or crazy. For example, they might say that the child is being too sensitive or overreacting to something that was hurtful or abusive.
  3. Constant Criticism: A gaslighting parent may constantly criticize the child and make them feel like they cant do anything right. They might belittle the childs accomplishmen...

Putin's staff told to ditch iPhones over security concerns - Kommersant Signs of the Times

Members of the Russian presidential administration whose jobs focus on domestic policy have been instructed to discard their iPhones by the end of March, the business daily Kommersant reported on Monday. The decision was made due to the risk of Western espionage, the outlet said. Russian officials will have to "throw away or give to their kids" their devices running the iOS operating system, according to how one source summarized a discussion during a seminar in early March. Kommersant sources say the final say on the matter and the deadline came directly from Deputy Chief of Staff Sergey Kirienko, who supervises several departments in the presidential office in charge of various aspects of domestic policy. The ban will also affect officials who liaise with regional governments on behalf of the administration, the newspaper reported.

One of Ukraine's largest oil depots destroyed in huge fire after troops shoot down Russian drones Signs of the Times

One of the largest oil depots in the central part of Ukraine burned out completely. We are talking about an oil storage facility in the city of Novomoskovsk, Dnepropetrovsk region. The fire at this fuel and energy infrastructure facility broke out a couple of days ago due to an air strike on the oil depot. Drums were used drones "Geran", which, as the Ukrainian side initially reported, "were successfully shot down." However, the "downed" drones somehow managed to cause an incident that led to the burnout of thousands of tons of fuel and crude oil. Comment: If that sounds unbelievable, lest we forget that Kiev recently shot down a Russian missile, that was headed to energy infrastructure, instead causing it to hit a civilian populated apartment block. The fire was burned for two days.

BEST OF THE WEB: Poland's French embassy says they could 'enter conflict' in Ukraine against Russia Signs of the Times

According to Polish Ambassador to France Jan Emeryk Rosciszewski, a situation may arise in which Poland would have to directly enter the Russia-Ukraine war. "It is not NATO, Poland or Slovakia that are exerting more and more pressure, but Russia, which has invaded Ukraine. Russia that is usurping its territories. Russia that is killing its people. And Russia that kidnaps Ukrainian children," the 57-year-old ambassador told French broadcaster LCI on Sunday evening. "So either Ukraine defends its independence today, or we have to enter this conflict. Because our main values, which were the basis of our civilization and our culture, will be threatened. Therefore, we will have no choice but to enter the conflict," he added.

BEST OF THE WEB: Earth dodges one of the fastest CMEs ever recorded Signs of the Times

Late on Monday, March 13, the Sun blasted out a coronal mass ejection (CME) traveling at at least 3,000 kilometers per second (6,700,000 miles per hour), possibly the fastest ever recorded. The expelled particles reached the Earth's orbit in less than a day. Had they hit the Earth, the results could have been catastrophic, but fortunately the CME was directed almost directly opposite. However, the explosion is a reminder the next time we may not be so lucky. Comment: That it was 'almost directly opposite' is interesting in itself. Despite coming from the far side of the Sun, it appears the event has caused a minor radiation storm on Earth. A smaller, and much slower, CME on Saturday that was predicted to graze the Earth may have also contributed. CMEs can affect each other, with one clearing a path for the charged particles from another. Spaceweather.com predicts shortwave radio failures for planes flying over the poles.

The U.S. Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions is set to grill Moderna CEO Stphane Bancel on Wednesday after reports the company is considering quadrupling the price of its COVID-19 vaccine.

On one of the most important matters facing our country the American people Democrats, Republicans, independents, progressives, and conservatives could not be more united. And that is the need to take on the unprecedented corporate greed of the pharmaceutical industry and to substantially lower the outrageously high price of prescription drugs, Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), chair of the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee, remarked on the Senate floor on Feb. 15 the date Bancel accepted an invitation to testify before the committee. The same day, Moderna announced a patient assistance program that would provide its vaccine to uninsured or underinsured patients at no cost starting in May.

The pharmaceutical industry consistently spends more money on federal lobbying than any other industry. Pharmaceutical companies and industry groups spent a combined $373.7 million on federal lobbying in 2022,...

Ransacking Iraq

Four men lie dead before me tonight. Their faces are pixelated on my screen. There is blood on their garments, on their skin, on the parched soil where their corpses are dumped. Their mouths open in a moment of silence, and there are boots in a corner.

Twenty years ago in March 2003, our cries were lost in a cacophony of imperial bedlam, our bodies crushed beneath the hoofs of Americas war machine as it galloped its way to the familiar gates of Iraq where it dwells today.

"There is More Than a Difference in Appearance Between Processed Potato Chips... and An Actual Potato." Reflections in a Petri Dish

Dog Poet Transmitting.......

We do not regularly expound on every area of interest that enters our mind; even those areas of interest that have been present in our mind for decades, such as Permaculture; Electromagnetics... Solar Metaphysics... (which has great similarities to Electromagnetics) and Hermetic Science. Sometimes though, something seems to be worth mentioning.

On one hand... the complexity can be intimidating, and on the other hand, there is an ever-greater chance that I won't know what I'm talking about when I go outside the range of my knowledge... which is... heh heh... extremely limited.

Being interested in a subject is not the same as knowing anything about the subject. It's similar to one fronting for something... not being the same as... actually representing it; like Taylor Swift and Inspired Art being mutually exclusive.

There is more than a difference in appearance between processed potato chips and an actual potato. Here too... Taylor Swift might serve as an example for those able to make the connection. Even though most people might not associate Taylor Swift with potatoes, she has a lot in common with them... even if only metaphorically.

Before I've segued right off the table, let us return to subjects of interest off the beaten path, and forget about our reference to common items found on the common path.

This brings me to Electroculture, which I think most readers might not have heard of, and which most people who are not readers here... are definitely unlikely to have heard of.

I only bring up Electroculture because one perspicacious fellow has found an ancillary use for it (sorry about the big words).

Dozens of people have been displaced and at least 3 fatalities reported. Three people from the same family died after heavy rain triggered a landslide which destroyed their home in Aratuba on 16 March 2023. A further 15 homes were damaged or deemed unsafe by authorities, forcing around 50 people to evacuate. A three-day period of mourning was declared. State Governor Elmano de Freitas visited the area on 17 March.

Time is running out to speak freely about free speech Signs of the Times

Americans need to have an important discussion about free speech now before the Censorship Complex makes it impossible to do so. The Censorship Complex whereby Big Tech censorship is induced by the government, media, and media-rating businesses threatens the future of free speech in this country. To understand how and why, Americans need to talk about speech and the government's motive to deceive the public. To frame this discussion, consider these hypotheticals: Two American soldiers training Ukraine soldiers in Poland cross into the war zone, ambushing and killing five Russian soldiers. Unbeknownst to the American soldiers, a Ukrainian soldier filmed the incident and provides the footage to an independent journalist who authors an article on Substack, providing a link to the video. Russia uses its intelligence service and "bots" to flood social media with claims that the Ukrainians are misusing 90 percent of American tax dollars. In truth, "only" 40 percent of American...

California snowfall: Now the second snowiest winter ever on record Signs of the Times

Snowpack statewide is over double the normal, and much above what we typically have by April 1st, which is historically the deepest snow depth of the season. More snow is ahead this week, and while the moisture is wonderful for the state of the drought, the back to back systems are overwhelming California's soils & rivers. The heavy rain and snowmelt led to widespread flooding around rivers and creeks, most notably in Porterville and Kernville in central California. Here, the rivers overflowed, resulting in mandatory evacuations for the surrounding communities. The southern Sierra has benefited the most from the active winter season. Soda Springs, CA has received over 56 feet of snow this season, making this season the 2nd snowiest since records started in 1946! We are about 11 feet shy of the record 1951-52 year but with more snow in the forecast, we will get awfully close in the next couple of weeks.

Meteor fireball over Spain (March 18) Signs of the Times

This bright bolide was spotted over Spain on March 18, at 23:57 local time (equivalent to 22:57 universal time). The event was generated by a rock (a meteoroid) from a comet that hit the atmosphere at about 80,000 km/h. The fireball overflew Ciudad Real (Spain). It began at an altitude of about 94 km over Argamasilla de Alba (province of Ciudad Real), moved northwest, and ended at a height of around 34 km over Herencia (province of Ciudad Real). This bright meteor was recorded in the framework of the SMART project, operated by the Southwestern Europe Meteor Network (SWEMN) from the meteor-observing stations located at La Hita (Toledo), Sierra Nevada, La Sagra (Granada), and Sevilla. The event has been analyzed by the principal investigator of the SMART project: Dr. Jose M. Madiedo, from the Institute of Astrophysics of Andalusia (IAA-CSIC).

Saxony premier Michael Kretschmer said the sabotaged gas pipelines would be needed if Germany and Russia resume trade Germany should repair the Nord Stream gas pipelines while it is still possible, the state premier of Saxony, Michael Kretschmer, has argued. The politician suggested that the pipelines, which were blown up last September, could be needed again in the event that Germany and Russia normalize trade relations under new leadership in Moscow. "In energy policy, it's all about keeping options open," Kretschmer told Germany's Focus magazine in an interview published on Sunday. "When Putin is gone, the pipeline could also be an opportunity for a successor to restore economic relations with us," the official added, predicting that this could happen in around five years' time.

Nancy Pelosi is once again setting up the Trump 'incitement' narrative ahead of his expected arrest Signs of the Times

MAGA supporters tempted to protest an expected Trump arrest should be wary, especially in a major city. They might be walking into another "insurrection" trap. Donald Trump, 45th President of the United States, is about to be arrested. The expected Trump indictment hinges on his former lawyer Michael Cohen sending $130,000 to pornstar Stormy Daniels to prevent her from disclosing a purported 2006 affair with Trump, who has denied the allegation. Trump allegedly reimbursed Cohen with campaign funds, allegedly claiming them as "legal expenses." Alvin Bragg responded on Saturday night to pushback ahead of the expected Trump arrest, as reported by Breanna Morello. In part, Bragg told the members of his office: "Please know that your safety is our top priority. We have full confidence in our outstanding security staff and investigators, along with our great OCA and NYPD colleagues, and will continue to coordinate with all of them. We do not tolerate attempts to intimidate our office or...

How Covid lockdowns primed the current financial crisis Signs of the Times

The lockdowns and the stimulus required to keep the economy alive helped drive inflation. Then the Fed jacked up interest rates. And all hell broke loose. On Friday March 10th, 2023, Silicon Valley Bank (SVB) died of Covid. Alright, it's a little more complicated than that, but Covid lockdowns followed by massive government stimulus were a critical - and massively under-acknowledged - factor in propelling the bank's demise. At the heart of the crisis is the gigantic pile of low-interest debt that was issued during the height of the pandemic. While private-sector pandemic-era debt like corporate bonds also soared, US government debt like Treasury bonds piled up. In a nutshell, during the pandemic the government issued enormous amounts of extremely low interest government debt about $4.2 trillion of it. But now interest rates, including on government debt, are higher than they have been in 15 years and investors are dumping their old low-interest debt. As they dump, the resale...

Moscow opens criminal case over Putin warrant Signs of the Times

Russia's investigative committee says the ICC's top prosecutor and its judges acted "illegally"... The International Criminal Court's (ICC) principal prosecutor and the judges who issued an arrest warrant for Russian President Vladimir Putin have become the targets of a criminal case, Russia's Investigative Committee announced on Monday. In a Telegram post, the committee said that it had opened cases against ICC prosecutor Karim Ahmad Khan, as well as judges Tomoko Akane, Rosario Salvatore Aitala and Sergio Gerardo Ugalde Godinez. Khan sent a petition on February 22 to the ICC Pre-Trial Chamber to obtain warrants for the arrest of Putin and Russia's commissioner for children's rights, Maria Lvova-Belova, whom he accused of being responsible for the "illegal deportation of children from Ukraine." His petition was approved by the aforementioned judges. Moscow regards the evacuation as providing the safety of civilians from territories at risk of attacks by Ukrainian troops.

Japanese officials urge government to tell the truth about 210,000 excess deaths following vaccine mandates - highest number since WWII Signs of the Times

The Government of Japan is urged to tell the truth about the huge number of vaccine injuries and excess deaths during a hearing. Japanese lawmaker Mr. Yanagase Hirofumi, a Japanese politician who is a member of the House of Councillors of Japan, accused the Japanese government of covering up COVID-19 mRNA vaccine injuries and deaths. Below is the transcript of Mr. Hirofumi's speech: "The number of deaths in Japan has been on the rise continuously. As you can see from this panel, the dramatic increase in the number of deaths is quite obvious. Last year, the number of deaths in 2022, exceeded 1.58 million, the highest number since World War II. Compared to 2021, the number of deaths has increased by more than 140,000. Compared to 2020, the number of deaths has increased by a staggering number of 210,000. Covid didn't cause so many more deaths. There must be factors (like vaccines). I wonder how the government is analyzing this problem?

Trump indictment delayed, "surprise witness" to testify on Monday Signs of the Times

According to Business Insider sources, a possible Trump indictment is on hold until a final "surprise witness" can testify before the Grand Jury on Monday. Here's the report from Business Insider: Not so fast. A New York grand jury will hear a final surprise witness on Monday and won't vote on Trump indictment until it's over. "There is one more witness," a source with knowledge of the investigation told Insider on Saturday night. The source spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to divulge details of the grand jury proceedings. The source declined to identify the witness, whose testimony will cap a two-month grand jury presentation by prosecutors under District Attorney Alvin Bragg. A separate source, who also spoke on condition of anonymity, told Insider that the witness is not Allen Weisselberg, Trump's former CFO, who is serving a five-month sentence for admittedly masterminding a payroll tax-dodge scheme at the Trump Organization.

Saudi king invites Iranian president to Riyadh - official Signs of the Times

Saudi Arabia's King Salman has invited Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi to a meeting in Riyadh, Raisi's deputy chief of staff said on Sunday. Planning is also underway for a meeting between the two countries' foreign ministers, after a Chinese-mediated deal restored diplomatic relations following a seven-year rift. Salman extended the invitation in a letter to Raisi, Deputy Chief of Staff Mohammad Jamshidi wrote on Twitter on Sunday. "Welcoming this invitation, the president emphasized Iran's readiness to strengthen cooperation," Jamshidi added. In a follow-up tweet in English, Jamshidi stated that Salman referred to Saudi Arabia and Iran as "brotherly countries" in his letter. Saudi Arabia and Iran announced last week that they would restore diplomatic ties and commit to "non-interference" in each other's internal affairs, in a landmark deal brokered by Chinese President Xi Jinping. Police in the Pakistani capital filed charges Sunday against former Prime Minister Imran Khan, 17 of his aides and scores of supporters, accusing them of terrorism and several other offenses after the ousted premier's followers clashed with security forces in Islamabad the previous day. For hours on Saturday, Khan's followers clashed with police outside a court where the former prime minister was to appear in a graft case. Riot police wielded batons and fired tear gas while Khan's supporters threw fire bombs and hurled rocks at the officers. More than 50 officers were injured and a police checkpoint, several cars and motorcycles were torched. Police said 59 of Khan's supporters were arrested during the violence. Khan never actually appeared inside the court to face charges that he had sold state gifts received while in office and concealed assets.

10 Genius Parenting Hacks For Raising An Empathetic Child Awareness Act

We live in a world where empathy is more important than ever. Empathy is important because it is our ability to put ourselves in someone elses shoes and understand things from their vantage point.

While empathy is a complex skill to develop, it is not a difficult thing to teach a child, if you start early and you act intentionally. Every moment you have with your child is an opportunity to teach them how to live more empathetically and harness compassion from within. Here are 10 genius parenting hacks for raising an empathetic child.

1. Model it.

The number one tip for teaching your child empathy is to model it, not only toward others, but especially toward your children. At the end of the day, the way you act and interact with your children will be the number one factor in how they turn out. Why? Because kids pay attention to how we act and interact with the world around us.

2. Help them practice reading emotions.

Practice makes perfect. One helpful way to teach empathy is to practice helping your child read emotions. For example, if you see a child that dropped their ice cream cone at the park, and they are crying, ask your child how they think that child is feeling.

3. Label emotions to expand their emotional vocabulary.

Throughout your childs life, you should be labeling emotions that you observe, to help them build their emotional vocabulary. If you see someone who is angry, point that out. If you see someone who is the sad and upset, point that out.

4. Point out acts of kindness.

Its important to make a big deal about the right things. So, whenever you see someone doing something kind or compassionate, do not miss the opportunity to teach your child about compassion.

5. Read stories about feelings.

Use reading time as a teaching time to teach about feelings. Some great books for this are My Many Colored Days, by Dr. Seuss, How Are You Peeling by Saxton Freymann, and Feelings by Aliki.

6. Use I messages.

I phrases are especially helpful because they teach self-awareness. I dont like it when you yell at me, it hurts my feelings.

7. Validate your childs difficult emotions.

When your child comes to you with difficult emotions, do not turn them away. Dont tell them to stop crying, Dont tell them that they are fine. Instead, listen to them, validate their emotions, and help them understand what they are going through.

8. Use pretend play.

Pretend play is perfect for teaching toddlers empathy. An example of this is saying that your stuffed bear doesnt want to take turns with his friend, the stuffed puppy. Now, ask your child, how do you think the stuffed puppy feels.

9. Think through the use of Im sorry.

A lot of times, we use the phrase Im sorry,&#822...

6 Mistakes You Will Regret In 10 Years Awareness Act

Our lives will pass us by before we realize it, and in the blink of an eye, the weight of our choices can come crashing down on us. We all make bad choices, and we all make mistakes, however, some of our mistakes can follow us around forever.

There have been many times in my life when I was making a big decision where I had to pause and take a step back and ask myself, Am I making a big mistake? Of course, I think we all have these moments. Looking back, I know my choices werent always the greatest. The impact of our choices and decisions, even small ones, can be massive. Unfortunately, we dont always realize this until later on. (Hindsight is 20/20.)

Below, I will go over 6 mistakes you will regret in 10 years.

1. Never leave your comfort zone.

Its easy to get caught up in a moment and to want to take it easy. However, its also easy to get stuck in this mode and never feel able to reach beyond that. In some cases, the thought of reaching out of your comfort zone may make you feel anxious, so instead of trying, you stay back. One day, though, you may be left wondering what you could have done if you had left your comfort zone.

2. Waiting for the perfect time.

The notion of perfect timing is a myth. There is no perfect time to buy a house or start a family, get married, or move in with your partner. Life just isnt like that. Things happen and no matter how much we prepare, there will be obstacles. If you are always waiting on the perfect time, you will always be waiting.

3. Giving up too quickly.

When things get difficult, it can be tempting to give up. Unfortunately, when you get into a cycle of just giving up when the going gets tough, you are going to miss a lot of good opportunities. Much like anything else, anything worth having is going to require effort.

4. Pretending to be someone you are not.

Its in our human nature to want to fit in. We want to be accepted, and we want to be loved and to feel secure in our communities and social circles. This desire can lead us to put on a front and to fit into a mold to fit into society. The thing is, if we all try to fit into a mold, there is no room for individuality. What is the fun of that? Not only that, but its miserable trying to be someone else, instead of just being who you are and learning to live with that.

5. Staying in bad relationships.

It might seem like the right thing to do, to stay in a relationship that isnt optimal, because you have kids or because you feel like the relationship has potential. People stay in bad relationships for several reasons. One day, though, if your relationship is legitimately bad, you may regret wasting years of your life with someone that wasnt right for you.

6. Not learning from your mistakes.

We all make bad choices in life, and when we do, we can either fa...

House Judiciary Committee demands Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg testify about possible Trump indictment CLG News

House Judiciary Committee demands Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg testify about possible Trump indictment --Jordan said the facts have not changed since 2018 and Trump's 2024 presidential campaign is the 'only intervening factor' | 20 March 2023 | The House Judiciary Committee is demanding that Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg testify before Congress in the wake of his "unprecedented abuse of prosecutorial authority," as he reportedly considers indicting former President Trump on charges related to alleged hush money payments made to adult film star Stormy Daniels in 2016. Committee Chairman Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, sent a letter, exclusively obtained by Fox News Digital, to Bragg Monday morning demanding his testimony. The letter was also signed by House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer, R-Ky., and House Committee on Administration Chairman Brian Steil, R-Wis. Jordan warned Bragg that if news reports of a possible Trump indictment are accurate, Bragg's actions "will erode confidence in the evenhanded application of justice and unalterably interfere in the court of the 2024 presidential election."

Operation Babylift and the hypocrisy of the International Criminal Court Signs of the Times

Compare Putin's supposed abduction of Ukrainian children to an organized mass kidnapping of Vietnamese children. In the "collective West," hypocrisy rules the narrative, most recently in regard to the ICC and the "kidnapped" children of Ukraine. In America, the scurrilous neocon and warmonger propagandist Max Boot weighed in on the meaningless and unenforcible decision to arrest President Putin. Boot's argument is delusional, but then neocons thrive on lies and delusions. Propaganda, pure and simple. Boot is an accessory to mass murder, having advocated the invasion of Iraq, the slaughter of over a million Iraqis, and the engineered destruction of their country.

BEST OF THE WEB: Ellen Brown: The Looming Quadrillion Dollar Derivatives Tsunami Signs of the Times

On Friday, March 10, Silicon Valley Bank (SVB) collapsed and was taken over by federal regulators. SVB was the 16th largest bank in the country and its bankruptcy was the second largest in U.S. history, following Washington Mutual in 2008. Despite its size, SVB was not a "systemically important financial institution" (SIFI) as defined in the Dodd-Frank Act, which requires insolvent SIFIs to "bail in" the money of their creditors to recapitalize themselves. Technically, the cutoff for SIFIs is $250 billion in assets. However, the reason they are called "systemically important" is not their asset size but the fact that their failure could bring down the whole financial system. That designation comes chiefly from their exposure to derivatives, the global casino that is so highly interconnected that it is a "house of cards." Pull out one card and the whole house collapses. SVB held $27.7 billion in derivatives, no small sum, but it is only .05% of the $55,387 billion ($55.387 trillion)...

Patriotism and Sinophobia Dissident Voice

People such as former US military men like Scott Ritter and Douglas MacGregor provide excellent analysis on the geopolitics and warring in Ukraine. Ritter and McGregor are two Americans apparently able to relay a perspective based on their own take of a situation, a take independent of government pronouncements and home media reports. Nonetheless, despite reporting their governments involvement in a proxy war and being well aware of US imperialism and war crimes, these men feel the need to profess their love of country. This is despite their country stirring up wars abroad; stealing oil and wheat in Syria; withholding money that belongs to the poor people of Afghanistan; having overthrown or trying to overthrow governments in Ukraine, Venezuela, Iran, Bolivia, Peru, Russia, etc.; leaving Americans without healthcare to fend for themselves as well as the homeless and destitute; carrying out a slow-motion assassination of Julian Assange; forcing Edward Snowden to live in exile; and a war against several other whistleblowers, Chelsea Manning, John Kiriakou, to name a few. So why the need to express an undying love for country?

One must not be harsh, as one can assume that to not declare an unwavering patriotism would put these independent speakers at risk of a harsh backlash.

I admire Ritter and MacGregor for their independent streak. (I also appreciate the analysis of former US marine Brian Berletic who does not engage in rah-rah for the United States, but then he is an ex-pat).

Of course, that an ex-military man can provide excellent military analysis does not mean that views expressed outside ones bailiwick are equally profound. Such views may even be deserving of criticism or censure.

In a recent video, MacGregor is interviewed by Stephen Gardner (who displays a large Star and Stripes in the background). MacGregor imparts a perspective that is at odds with that trotted out by his government and the US monopoly media concerning warring in Ukraine.

However, a final question that Gardner posed to MacGregor was rather revealing in a very negative light.

Gardner tendentiously asks (around 29:25), You mentioned that the humane thing would be for the United States to step in and say this war is over; lets be done. Dont you feel like China is trying to fill that vacuum, where they are now saying, Oh Saudi Arabia and Iran, theres a lot of money to be made, lets broker peace. Russia, Ukraine, hey, the United States is not going to step in;...

Pro-Israel and Ukraine Groups Use Identity Politics to Attack Free Speech Dissident Voice

Questioning Canadas contribution to NATOs proxy war is hate that must be shut down according to some Ukrainian groups mimicking Zionist organizations by promoting an identity politics laced cancel culture.

A Ukrainian student group sought to cancel my talk at Kings College in London, Ontario, on Thursday. In Western Ukrainian Students Association Statement on The Kings University College Yves Engler Event, they called me an apologist to a bloodthirsty regime who spreads disinformation and uses Russian propaganda talking points. They also argued that I endanger victims of colonialism everywhere and my speaking may also incite violence on campus. The statement boldly concluded, we cannot allow a proponent of hateful disinformation and Russian propaganda on our campuses in any capacity.

I have referred to the Russian invasion as illegal and brutal in dozens of articles and interviews. But Ive also challenged Canadas role in provoking and escalating the conflict. In a sign of their fanaticism, the event at Western wasnt even about Ukraine but rather Canadas contribution to Palestinian dispossession.

A few days before the Western Ukrainian Students Association released their statement a masters student at the Norman Paterson School of International Affairs published a similar attack on a January event I did with Tamara Lorincz and Miguel Figueroa. The Chair of the Carleton University Euro-Atlantic Partnership Council and Model NATO, Matthew Selinger, labelled me a master of historical revisionism that runs in line with Russian propaganda. The former Ukrainian Canadian Congress (UCC) intern concluded with a call to defund Carletons Public Interest Research Group (OPIRG) for simply having booked the room used for the Ottawa Peace Council e...

Criminals at Large: The Iraq War Twenty Years On Dissident Voice

The arrest warrant from the International Criminal Court for Russian President Vladimir Putin came at an opportune moment. It was, if nothing else, a feeble distraction over the misdeeds and crimes of other leaders current and former. Russia, not being an ICC member country, does not acknowledge that courts jurisdiction. Nor, for that matter, does the United States, despite the evident chortling from US President Joe Biden.

Twenty years on, former US President George W. Bush, former UK Prime Minister Tony Blair, and Australias own John Howard, the troika most to blame for not just the criminal invasion of a foreign country but the regional and global cataclysm consequential to it, remain at large. Since then, Bush has taken to painting; Blair and Howard have preferred to sell gobbets of alleged wisdom on the lecture circuit.

The 2003 invasion of Iraq by the US-led Coalition of the Willing was a model exercise of maligning the very international system of rules Washington, London and Canberra speak of when condemning their latest assortment of international villains. It recalled those sombre words of the International Military Tribunal, delivered at the Nuremberg war crimes trials in 1946: War is essentially an evil thing. Its consequences are not confined to the belligerent states alone but affect the whole world. To initiate a war of aggression, therefore, is not only an international crime; it is the supreme international crime differing from other war crimes in that it contains within itself the accumulated evil of the whole.

The invasion of Iraq defied the UN Security Council as the sole arbiter on whether the use of force would be necessary to combat a genuine threat to international peace and security. It breached the UN Charter. It encouraged instances of horrendous mendacity (those stubbornly spectral weapons of mass destruction) and the inflation of threats supposedly posed by the regime of Saddam Hussein.

This included the unforgettable British contribution about Saddams alleged ability to launch chemical and biological weapons in 45 minutes. As Blair declared to MPs in September 2002: It [the intelligence service] concludes that Iraq has chemical and biological weapons, that Saddam has continued to produce them, that he has existing and active military plans for the use of chemical and biological weapons, which could be activated within 45 minutes.

Putin, not one to suffer amnesia on this point, also noted this fact in his speech made announcing Russias attack on Ukraine. Iraq, he noted, had been invaded without any legal grounds. Lies, he said, were witnessed at the highest...

However, its also important to consider other advertising methods such as print, radio, television, and outdoors when deciding which approach is best for your business

The decision between using Facebook Ads or another type of advertising will depend on your goals and budget. There are pros and cons to each approach and its important to identify which one will work best for you.

To get started, its helpful to find the right consultant who can walk you through each option and make personalized recommendations based on your objectives.

Advantages of Using Facebook Ads

Source: youtube.com

Facebook Ads offer many advantages compared to traditional advertising methods. The primary benefit is that they allow you to target specific audiences with precision based on factors like location, interests, age, gender, job titles, and more. This helps ensure that your ads are reaching the right people at the right time.

They also offer great flexibility when it comes to pricing options. You can select either Cost Per Impression (CPM) or Cost Per Click (CPC) models depending on what suits your budget and campaign goals best.

Additionally, they have detailed analytics tools so you can monitor how well your ads are performing in real-time and make necessary adjustments as needed.

So if your boss were to have the technology to project the image that you were thinking about- that would be an immense violation of privacy, wouldnt it? Surprisingly enough, Nita A. Uganda: Museveni calls gay people 'deviants' as anti-LGBT bill advances Signs of the Times

Uganda's President Yoweri Museveni on Thursday described gay people as "deviants" and called for an investigation into homosexuality as lawmakers in the conservative East African nation prepare to vote on an anti-LGBT bill. The bill, introduced earlier this month, proposes tough new penalties for same-sex relations in a country where homosexuality is already illegal, sparking criticism from human rights groups. In a state of the nation address before lawmakers, Museveni, who has ruled Uganda since 1986, called gay people deviants as MPs urged him to comment on the new legislation.

Oxfam's new 92-page inclusivity guide calls English 'the language of a colonising nation' and tells staff to avoid the words 'mother' 'headquarters' - and even 'youth', in move slammed by critics Signs of the Times

Oxfam came under fire last night for issuing a bizarre 'inclusive' language guide to staff. The 92-page report warns against 'colonial' phrases such as 'headquarters', suggests 'local' may be offensive and says 'people' could be patriarchal. Workers were told 'parent' is often preferable to 'mother' or 'father', terms such as 'feminine hygiene' should be dropped, and 'people who become pregnant' should be used instead of 'expectant mothers'.

Strawberry fields forever? California crops lost after floods - how much of the US will feel the shortage? Signs of the Times

Too much thing, rain, is sinking farmers' bottom lines across California's Central Coast. The area some call "America's salad bowl" more resembles a soup bowl as round after round of atmospheric river-fueled storms overwhelmed farmland. We all may start to notice a difference in the grocery store as some staples become harder to find. FOX Weather brought you to Pajaro, California when the levee failed recently. The farming community in the Pajaro River Valley disappeared under feet of water. Similar scenes played out across the Salinas River Valley, another iconic farm area in Monterey County which is the fourth top agricultural producer in the state, according to the California Department of Food and Agriculture. "For the farms that were flooded, this catastrophe hit at the worst possible time," said California's Strawberry Commission President Rick Tomlinson in a statement. "Farmers had borrowed money to prepare the fields and were weeks away from beginning to harvest." Acre...

The Minsk Deception and the Planned War in Donbas BlackListed News

There is a historically possible world in which the Minsk Agreement never needed to be made. In 2014, a US supported coup removed the democratically elected Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych, with his eastern base, and replaced him with a West leaning president who was handpicked by the US. Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Victoria Nuland can be heard on an intercepted phone call selecting Arseniy Yatsenyuk as Americas choice to replace Yanukovych.
