"What a Joy It is To See The Citadels of Evil Begin to Crumble... as The Rays of God's Living Light Fall Upon Them!" Reflections in a Petri Dish

 Dog Poet Transmitting.......

So... Tranny Annie Oakley left behind a manifesto and certain powerful cabals of perversity do... not... want... it... released. I'm guessing that before the Nashville police turn it over to The Federal Bureau of Infernals, something along the lines of Hunter Biden's laptop is going to take place. Here in the time of Apocalypse, no lie is safe.

They are losing it!!! What a joy it is to see The Citadels of Evil begin to crumble as the rays of God's Living Light impact upon them! Who can stand against The Almighty? The clue to that can be found in the word...Almighty

They are shooting up these sexually confused young ladies with Testosterone, and... it is making them ANGRY, and AGGRESSIVE. Testosterone is an anabolic-androgenic Steroid. Reflect upon the rage that anabolic steroids cause in men. Of course, the psychopathic monsters that run the AMA-Pharmaceutical Combine know this. The Materialistic mindset that drives the engines of contemporary science cannot fail to create monsters.

Our Catamite government is a sort of gimp-masked submissive, (made tumescent by shame) writhing under the spiked leather heels of Madame Diabolically Craven. The government as the plow, with The Media and Big Business as The Backdoor Man, and His Satanic Majesty as the possessor and manipulator of all conscious and unconscious entities so engaged, represent the oppressors of Humanity in their present form. They are the force behind all the transsexual and otherwise abnormal practices of Seppuku-by-Materialism.

There are several motivations involved, but the chief motivation is having a greater control over all of us. Also, their delight in the performance of evil... for the sake of evil, and the confusion and chaos that operates in the minds of those susceptible to the influence of their subliminal and surface-mind invasions. It entertains them to destroy people... whose sense of self and tenuous grip on identity... are made even more screwed up by putting it on a wide spectrum of tormented gender distortions.

Another motive is seen in their desperation to survive. These once human, free-radicals, can only continue by means of that which results in the death of their host. Then it must look for a new food source. Finally... never let us forget... they are driven by the very power they remain in denial of. God weaves Evil and Good to form...

US Did not Send 365 Attack Plane It Sent its Judgement Day Planes Armstrong Economics

Biden has sent the E-6B Mercury which is an American military strategic control and communications aircraft. It is a command center for the US Navy. It is also called judgment day aircraft because it is used for communication with nuclear submarines for the purpose to control any launch of intercontinental ballistic missiles. These are the submarines of the Ohio class. Each submarine can have up to 24 Trident II D5 missiles, capable of carrying nuclear warheads, on board.

I cannot verify that 365 attack planes were sent. It appears that only squadron 365 may have been sent. All I can verify is that the US has been sending Air Force F-35 fighter jets to Estonia, Lithuania, and Romania.

Escobar diary account from Moscow: The Capital of the Multipolar World Signs of the Times

In Moscow you feel no crisis. No effects of sanctions. No unemployment. No homeless people in the streets. Minimal inflation. How sharp was good ol' Lenin, prime modernist, when he mused, "there are decades where nothing happens; and there are weeks where decades happen". This global nomad now addressing you has enjoyed the privilege of spending four astonishing weeks in Moscow at the heart of an historical crossroads - culminating with the Putin-Xi geopolitical game-changing summit at the Kremlin. To quote Xi, "changes that haven't been seen in 100 years" do have a knack of affecting us all in more ways than one. James Joyce, another modernity icon, wrote that we spend our lives meeting average and/or extraordinary people, on and on and on, but in the end we're always meeting ourselves. I have had the privilege of meeting an array of extraordinary people in Moscow, guided by trusted friends or by auspicious coincidence: in the end your soul tells you they enrich you and the...

Selective Outrage in Palestine: The Problem is Not Just Smotrich but Zionism MintPress News

By his own admission, Israels new Finance Minister, Bezalel Smotrich, is a fascist homophobe. This declaration, which he made on January 16, should be enough to accentuate the violent nature of the new political concoction created by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu last December.

Though Smotrich is not the only politician in Netanyahus cabinet with a track record of violence, both real and rhetorical, he is a special case. Unlike his boss, Smotrich does not feel the need for doublespeak or occasional diplomacy.

In recent months, Smotrich has become internationally famous, not because of his financial genius that could resolve Israels impending financial problems as a result of the weakening of the countrys legal system. Nor does the man have the answers, or even interest, in confronting Israels inherent socio-economic equalitynone of this. Smotrich is mostly popular for his racism.

In 2016, Smotrich made headlines when he suggested that Jewish and Palestinian women should be separated in maternity wards. His logic is as bigoted as it was foolish:

My wife really isnt a racist, but after giving birth, she wants to rest and doesnt want those mass parties that are the norm among the families of Arab women after birth.

At that time, Smotrich was a Knesset member, representing the Jewish Home party, before later joining the Union of Right-Wing Parties, Yamina, the Jewish Home and Yamina, again, and, finally, his current Religious Zionist Party. This indicates that Smotrich, himself an illegal Jewish settler from Kedumim, near the Occupied West Bank city of Qalqiliya, found an ideological home in most of Israels current rightwing political platforms.

In Israels right-wing parties, racism is an important prerequisite to succeed in politics.  In fact, this is precisely how Itamar Ben-Gvir rose from being a youth leader of the extremist Kach party to...

Alabama bridge collapses after heavy rain and flooding Signs of the Times

A portion of County Road 98 in LaFayette, Alabama, was closed after a bridge collapsed into Chatahospee Creek following heavy rain and flooding in the area on March 27. Myles Welch recorded this video, and told Storyful he and his father were driving around looking at flood damage when they noticed the sign for the bridge had fallen off. "So we stopped and got out. That's when we saw the ground was gone under the road," he said. "Then the pavement started cracking and that's when I started videoing the road." In the video, someone can be heard saying "there it goes" as the last piece of road connecting the bridge falls into the muddy water. The Chambers County Commission issued an "impassable travel advisory" on March 27, advising the public that all roads and bridges "should be considered impassable until further notice." The advisory was later lifted, but a dozen roads remained closed, including a section of County Road 98. Credit: Myles Welch via Storyful

200-foot tornado filmed in Chhattisgarh, India Signs of the Times

This is the shocking moment steel plant workers had to flee a 200-foot tornado. Onlookers were forced to clear a path as the tornado, filmed in Bhilai Steel Plant, in Chhattisgarh, India, headed towards them. One man had to stop filming as it edged closer - while others audibly panicked. Chhattisgarh had been experiencing temperatures of up to 40 degrees Celsius - which is thought to have brought the small tornado on. Luckily, it died down quickly and no-one was injured. Scientist HP Chandra, of Raipur Meteorological Department - who filmed the video - believes the tornado was still "powerful" enough to pull "a car" towards it. The incident is reported to have happened on March 29, 2023.

Octopus is a popular ingredient in many cuisines, with some 420,000 metric tonnes of this mollusc being caught worldwide each year. The rising global popularity of octopus has been attributed to the increasingly adventurous tastes of younger consumers, its nutritional benefits and the decline of traditional fish stocks such as cod. This helps explain why the food processing corporation, Nueva Pescanova, aims to build the worlds first indoor octopus farm in Gran Canaria: a thous...

The Science Of Recoil: Understanding The Physics Behind Shotgun Kick The Event Chronicle

A shotgun is a versatile firearm designed to be fired from the shoulder. It is used for a variety of purposes, including hunting, sport shooting, recreation, and self-defense. It has smooth-bore barrels, meaning the inside of the barrel is smooth and does not have grooves.

Shotguns offer a unique shooting experience, and their sound can add to the excitement. However, they are powerful firearms and require proper training for handling. It is essential to follow all safety rules and regulations while using them.

At times, while shooting, strong recoil can be felt. So, using a shotgun recoil pad is a simple and effective way to reduce it, increase accuracy, and protect the firearm from damage. It should be bought from trustworthy manufacturers.

Understanding Shotgun Kick

Source: themeateater.com

You would have seen in the movies or shooting competitions that the shooter feels a backward jolt or a kick while firing a shotgun. This is caused due to the backward movement when it is fired. In technical terms, this backward movement is known as recoil. Read on to understand why it occurs.

To fire a shotgun, it needs to be loaded with ammunition. Commonly, ammunition consists of a plastic or paper shell containing a shot, slug, or a combination of both.

When a shotgun is fired, the gunpowder in the shell ignites, creating a high-pressure explosion that propels the shot or a slug out of the barrel at high velocity. According to Newtons third law of motion, every action has an equal and opposite reaction. This means that when a shot or slug is propelling out of the gun at high speed, an equal and opposite force is applied back to the gun and the shooter. This backward force acts on the shotgun and the shooter recoils.

Factors Impacting The Recoil

Recoil is an important shooting factor and affects accuracy, control, and comfort. With what force it kicks, the shooter depends on several factors. Some o...

Whopping 82% of Berlin's voters refuse to support net zero 2030 as referendum fails Signs of the Times

A key vote for Net Zero CO2 emissions by 2030 in Berlin has failed to reach the turnout threshold to be deemed valid, with just 18% turning out to vote in favour, in a major setback for activists. Pierre Gosselin in Watts Up With That? has more. Last Sunday's 'Berlin Climate Neutrality By 2030' referendum failed resoundingly despite the more than a million euros spent in a massive run-up campaign that included plastering the city with posters, concerts by famous performers, huge support and propaganda by the media and hefty donations coming from Left wing activists from the east and west coasts of the USA. Once the dust of the referendum had settled, it emerged that the 'yes' side fell way short of the quorum 608,000 votes needed to pass the measure. Only 442,210 cast a vote in favour, which represents only 18% of Berlin's eligible voters. The activists expected a far greater turnout. 82% refused to lend any support.

A compelling study published in Letters in Applied Microbiology shows that a commonly used food probiotic known as Lactobacillus plantarum is capable of degrading dangerous pesticide residues in wheat (pirimiphos-methyl), confirming the traditional fermentation-based food-processing technique known as culturing can significantly improve the safety of conventional food.

Deadly weed may actually help us look younger, heal faster

If youre on a hike, youd be best steering well clear of the cocklebur weed. While the stalky green plants with curious-looking spiky burs dont appear particularly deadly, this noxious plant is a killer.

In 2007, 76 villagers fell ill in northeastern Bangladesh after consuming the plants seedlings, and a quarter of those died. The toxin present in the seedlings and burs (also often called their fruit and their seeds), carboxyatractyloside, can cause nausea, palpitations, drowsiness, hallucinations and multiple organ dysfunction leading to death.

It can also cause acute liver failure in pigs, cattle, sheep, poultry, horses and other ruminants.

Bariatric surgery is successful at treating obesity, but it's not without its risks

https://newatlas.com/medical/weight-loss-injectable/

Bariatric surgery, which includes gastric bypass and other ways of manipulating the digestive tract, has proven to be a successful way of treating obesity and, in some cases, even reversing diabetes. However, as with all surgeries, it comes with certain risks, has a lengthy recovery time, and is a costly procedure to undergo. Now, working with rodents, researchers have found a way to harness benefits similar to those from surgery, but in the form of an injection. They also found that it helped with metabolism, insulin production and, most surprisingly, with opioid cravings.

BEST OF THE WEB: A guide to understanding the hoax of the century Signs of the Times

Prologue: The Information War In 1950, Sen. Joseph McCarthy claimed that he had proof of a communist spy ring operating inside the government. Overnight, the explosive accusations blew up in the national press, but the details kept changing. Initially, McCarthy said he had a list with the names of 205 communists in the State Department; the next day he revised it to 57. Since he kept the list a secret, the inconsistencies were beside the point. The point was the power of the accusation, which made McCarthy's name synonymous with the politics of the era. For more than half a century, McCarthyism stood as a defining chapter in the worldview of American liberals: a warning about the dangerous allure of blacklists, witch hunts, and demagogues. Until 2017, that is, when another list of alleged Russian agents roiled the American press and political class. A new outfit called Hamilton 68 claimed to have discovered hundreds of Russian-affiliated accounts that had infiltrated Twitter to sow...

Plants scream when stressed or hurt they're 'rather noisy': study Signs of the Times

Mum's the word. Thirsty or stressed plants emit popping sounds undetectable to the human ear, according to research published Thursday in the journal Cell. Tel Aviv University scientists used special microphones to record ultrasonic sounds produced by tomato and tobacco plants inside a sound-protected box and a greenhouse. The researchers say they developed machine learning models to identify the condition of the plants, including if they were dehydrated or diseased, based on the detected sounds. "From previous studies we know that vibrometers attached to plants record vibrations. But do these vibrations also become airborne soundwaves namely sounds that can be recorded from a distance? Our study addressed this question, which researchers have been debating for many years," study coauthor Lilach Hadany said in a statement. Researchers say they put the plants in a box in a basement with no background noise, placing ultrasonic microphones about 10 centimeters away from each...

Before you start packing, take some time to go through your belongings and separate what you want to keep, donate, or throw away. This will not only reduce the amount of stuff you have to pack, but it will also make it easier to unpack and organize in your new home. Plus, donating items can be a great way to give back to your community.

2. Use the right packing supplies

Having the right packing supplies can make a huge difference in the efficiency of your move. Invest in sturdy boxes, packing tape, bubble wrap, and packing paper. You can also use items you already have, like suitcases and laundry baskets, to pack clothes and other soft items. Dont forget to label your boxes with the contents and which room they belong in. This will save you time when youre unpacking and trying to find specific items.

3. Pack strategically

When youre packing, think about the order in which youll need to unpack your boxes. Pack items youll need first, like toiletries and a change of clothes, in a separate box or suitcase. Pack heavier items on the bottom of boxes and lighter items on top to prevent damage. You can also use clothing and towels to wrap fragile items instead of buying more bubble wrap.

Choosing the Right Vape Juice: Tips for Selecting the Best Flavors & Nicotine Levels The Event Chronicle

Vaping has become a popular alternative to traditional smoking, and with the variety of vape juices available, its easy to see why. Vape juice, also known as e-liquid, is a flavored liquid that is heated by the device to create vapor. With so many different flavors and nicotine levels available, it can be challenging to choose the right vape juice. In this article, well provide you with some tips for selecting the best flavors and nicotine levels.

1. Determine Your Nicotine Level

source:healthline.com

Nicotine is the addictive substance found in cigarettes, and many people turn to vape as a way to wean themselves off cigarettes. When selecting vape juice, its essential to consider the nicotine level. The nicotine level is measured in milligrams per milliliter (mg/ml), and there are usually several nicotine levels available, ranging from 0mg to 36mg.

If you are a heavy smoker, you may want to start with a higher nicotine level, around 18mg. However, if youre a light smoker or trying to quit nicotine altogether, you may want to start with a lower nicotine level, such as 3mg or 6mg.

2. Consider Your Flavor Preferences

One of the most significant benefits of vaping is the variety of flavors available. From fruity to dessert-inspired flavors, there is a vape juice flavor for everyone. When selecting a flavor, its essential to consider your preferences.

Its also worth trying different flavors to find your favorite. Many manufacturers offer sample packs that allow you to try different ones without committing to a large bottle.

Can We Really Last until 2032? Armstrong Economics

QUESTION #1: Martin,

Since Trump was already not guilty of having the affair (to which Stormy Daniels admitted never took place), does that mean that the New York Court has indicted him on the charges of being blackmailed?

DB

QUESTION #2: Bill Clinton committed perjury. That was legal grounds to indict him and remove him from office. Nobody wanted to indict Richard Nixon either. I can now see why Socrates is forecasting the collapse of the United States. I just realized that the Declaration of Independence was approved by the Continental Congress on July 4, 1776, announcing the separation of 13 North American British colonies from Great Britain. What I did not know was it was only a vote of 12 and New York abstained. It seems like New York is at it again. Do you really think we can last until 2032?

ANSWER: What Bragg has done is so undermining to the entire country and he has accepted money from a foreign power seeking to undermine the United States George Soros. That is treason in my book. He is doing the bidding of a declared enemy against the United States and everything our way of life has stood for.

Yes, the Declaration was signed 1776.506. The United State will exist no more after 2034.50. I am very concerned that the 2024 Presidential election is not going to be fair if at all. By the time we get to 2025.90, this does not look good in the least. It is highly unlikely that we are looking at this lasting as we have known it until 2032. It looks like everything unravels starting in 2027.

Earn Six Figures Without Working Armstrong Economics

The US government has been on a spending spree over the past few years and there is absolutely no way they can ever pay the bill. Federal spending hit $4.45 trillion in 2019 in the wake of the pandemic, according to the Congressional Budget Office (CBO). That figure hit $6.21 trillion as of the latest report, marking a 40% uptick in four years. What has changed?

This goes far beyond the Ukraine fiasco. While defense spending rose 18% over the past four years, nondefense spending shot up 43% to $941 billion. Spending on Social Security and retirement increased 33% from 2019 to 2023 as the Baby Boomer generation began to exit the workforce. Retirement has become a luxury with the current cost of living and many are opting to continue working rather than retire. Yet, the mentality of hard work paying off is dwindling. The effects of the pandemic can still be felt as the workforce dynamic has changed. The supplemental unemployment income distributed freely during the pandemic has had disastrous consequences.

US Sent 365 Attack Craft to Confront Russia Armstrong Economics

QUESTION: Marty; It looks like NATO is preparing to invade Russia. What the hell is going on?

HR

ANSWER: That may be old footage. It is squadron 365, not 365 planes. Nevertheless, the US is preparing troops for Europe. As I have explained, the Neocons are in full control of US foreign policy. They are intent on starting a war BEFORE 2024. They have 300,000 troops on the border of Russia in Poland. They have used Ukraine to weaken Russias conventional forces. They think they can take Russia in less than one week. They believe that Russia will not push the button. What if they are wrong? They believe in their own propaganda.

They have waged a brilliant campaign. They pretend their warmongering is being patriotic. They do not care about America, its people, or anything honorable. They used Ukraine as cannon fodder and they will do the same with Americans. They killed 58,000 Americans in Vietnam. For what?

They are INTERNATIONALISTS, not Americans, and in their view, they must rule the world. Who cares about Americans? There are too many of us anyhow. Thin the herd is their view.

Welcome to World War III

War Powers Inquiry into International Armed Conflict Decision Making - Parliament of Australia (We) can do better

"Clear need to improve the transparency and accountability of government decision-making in relation to armed conflict.' "Require a written statement to be published and tabled in the Parliament setting out the objectives of major military operations, the orders made and legal basis"; "Facilitate debate ..."

The Defence Subcommittee of the Joint Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs, Defence and Trade has completed its examination on how Australia makes decisions to send service personnel into international armed conflict.

Defence Subcommittee Chair, Mr Julian Hill MP, said The power to declare war and send military personnel into conflict is arguably the most significant and serious institutional power, and the gravest decision a government can make.

Through this inquiry, the Committee has carefully and seriously considered fundamental questions regarding decision-making in relation to international armed conflict and parliamentary oversight, both preceding and during the commitment of the Australian Defence Force.

The Committee has concluded there is a clear need to improve the transparency and accountability of government decision-making in relation to armed conflict. Australias system of parliamentary democracy is likely to be kept healthy, effective, and well-adapted by making sensible changes that respect our well-established institutions and conventions.

Accompanying recommended changes to the Cabinet Handbook and new Standing Resolutions of both Houses of Parliament, the Government has an historic chance to exercise leadership and establish the Joint Statutory Committee on Defence to enhance Australias national security while providing increased parliamentary scrutiny of Defence.

In 1988, Prime Minister Bob Hawke created the Parliamentary Joint Committee on ASIO, rejecting the advice of the Hope Royal Commission not to enhance parliamentary oversight of the intelligence agencies. History has proved he was right to do so, and the Government is encouraged to emulate Prime Minister Hawkes example and act to strengthen national security and enhance the accountability of Defence to the Parliament.

The Committee is convinced that greater transparency and parliamentary consideration of the decision to commit forces to an armed conflict can and must occur, and commends this report, on this most serious of subjects, to the Government.

The Committees recommendations are to:

  • Reaffirm that decisions regarding armed conflict are fundamentally a prerogative of the Executive, while acknowledging the key role of Parliament in...

NYC The Most Corrupt Legal System in the USA Armstrong Economics

Jacob Chansley, 35, who pleaded guilty to breaching the U.S. Capitol and was sentenced to 41 months in prison, was released from prison after Fox News aired footage of him being escorted by police officers inside the U.S. Capitol on January 6th, 2021. The videotapes confirm that Chansley was innocent. Why would he plead guilty to a false charge by a prosecutor who knew he was innocent? Because the judges do whatever the prosecutor tells them. If he says life, he is given life. The first thing a corrupt court-appointed lawyer tells you, you cannot win, just plead guilty.

The United States has one of the MOST corrupt legal systems in the Western World. We do not honor the law or the constitution, and it is standard practice to force innocent people to plead guilty under threats to their family or terms of imprisonment for life by stacking multiple charges. They will routinely call every email a separate crime even though they were all part of a single transaction.

Judge Jed S. Rakoff was probably the most honest judge in New York City Federal Court. He wrote a book to explain why the innocent were pleading guilty and the guilty go free as long as they bring in more people for the prosecutors like Bragg. Every person I met who was an actual big drug importer, said the same thing. If they had $500,000 in cash they confiscated, the indictment would say $250,000. When they would tell the court-appointed lawyer who is professional at selling citizens to the prosecution to maintain their 97%-99% conviction rate, tell them to keep their mouth shut. More money means more time. They arrest drug dealers and spread the cash among themselves. This was not just one person, but EVERY drug dealer said...

Certainty Trap: L'Entente is a bitter pill for the West Signs of the Times

The West is stuck between the public sentiment which it contrived and the reality on the ground, Alastair Crooke writes. Consequential Strategic Change - Upon leaving his meeting with Vladimir Putin, Xi Jinping said to Putin, "Change is coming that hasn't happened in 100 years - and we are driving this change together". The 'Entente' was sealed during hours of talks over two days, and amidst a plethora of signed documents. Two powerful states have formed a duality that, in marrying a gigantic manufacturing base to the pre-eminent raw materials supplier and the advanced weaponry and diplomatic nous of Russia, leaves the U.S. in the shade. A seat in the shadows (assumed through volitation, or inability to contemplate such radical transition) reflects the U.S. with its back turned towards participation in the unfolding multipolar world.

Brian Tooheys address to the Australian Anti-AUKUS Coalitions national zoom meeting of 26th March,2023 (We) can do better

Nearly everything this government says about nuclear subs is ludicrous and highly damaging.

Despite Defence Minister Marles apparently saying Australia will not participate in a war over Taiwan, Hugh White (ex- Dep Head Defence) says US would never sell N subs to Australia without guarantees they will always be used in a US war. Reason is these subs are taken from of its line of battle, not additional ones from the production line. Once again, Australian sovereignty does not exist in the sense of being able to use US weapons how we want to do after buying them.

Marles now says the nuclear subs are not for war, but to protect Australian merchant shipping. A leading a leading economist Percy Allan points out there 26,000 cargo ship movements to and from Australia each year. Nuclear subs have terrible maintenance problems and if we buy the expected three second hand Virginia Class attack subs from America, only one might  be operationally available at any time and probably none. One sub, let alone none, cant protect 26,000 cargo shipping movements, but mainstream journalists swallow this nonsense.

wanted to deploy the N subs off the Chinese coast to fire long-range cruise missiles into the mainland.  This represents a return to the Forward Defence doctrine that failed in Singapore in 1942, and later in Vietnam. Arthur Calwell gave a magnificent anti-war speech in 1965. He was fully vindicated when the Vietnamese won a war against a horrendously destructive  invasion that was a war crime. Now, Albanese effectively supports war.

With Labor now returning to the disastrous  Forward Defence doctrine, its worth remembering the Coalition defence minister in 1969 Allen Fairhall scrapped this doctrine and cut military spending by 5%, while there were still 7000 Aust troops in Vietnam. The Coalition then switched to the direct defence of Australia. Whitlam, Fraser, Hawke and Keating all embraced the defence of Australia, not forward defence. Keating also adopted a long sighted policy of seeking our security in Asia, not from it.

Howard reverted do Americas bidding in another war crime of aggression.

Australias best defence is its surrounded by water and long way from China or India. There is no evidence either is a threat. If this changes for the worse, the Def of Aust doctrine will come into its own.

Marles and Albanese will recklessly position nuclear subs off China. But thats where Chinas forces are concentrated.  Because Marles and Albanese would be playing to Chinas strengths, they would then be responsible for a disastrous military blunder when the subs are sunk. It would be much better to play to our strengths by...

World Court rules US illegally froze some Iran assets, must pay compensation Signs of the Times

In a partial victory for Iran, judges at the International Court of Justice (ICJ) on Thursday ruled Washington had illegally allowed courts to freeze assets of some Iranian companies and ordered the United States to pay compensation, the amount of which will be determined later. However, in a blow for Tehran, the World Court said it did not have jurisdiction over US$1.75 billion in frozen assets from Iran's central bank. Acting Legal Adviser Rich Vise of the US State Department said in a written statement that the ruling rejected the "vast majority of Iran's case", notably where it concerned the assets of the central bank. "This is a major victory for the United States and victims of Iran's state-sponsored terrorism," Vise added. Comment: Exemplary US denial right there.

Magnetic storms can destroy up to a quarter of the Earth's ozone layer, new study reveals Signs of the Times

Physicists from St. Petersburg State University (SPbGU) and other Russian universities, together with scientists from the Davos Physical and Meteorological Observatory, have proved that during magnetospheric storms, up to 25% of the entire ozone layer of the Earth can be destroyed during a day. The ozone layer is part of the stratosphere that blocks ultraviolet rays that have a detrimental effect on all living organisms. The largest ozone hole on Earth is located over Antarctica. As of October 2022, its size was approximately 23.2 million square meters. km. "During geomagnetic disturbances (changes in the Earth's magnetic field, usually manifested during magnetospheric storms), the concentration of radicals increases in the polar atmosphere. This leads to the destruction of ozone at the heights of the mesosphere during the day. The maximum detected destruction was 14-25% at an altitude of about 75 km," said Irina Mironova, head of the section "Magnetosphere and the influence of...

Trump is Indicted This May Backfire in Spades Armstrong Economics

Donald Trump is now the first former US president to face criminal charges after a grand jury in New York has voted to indict him on charges related to hush money payments to an adult film star. President Warren G. Harding (1865-1923), 29th President of the United States (1921-1923), has gone down as perhaps the worst president in Americas history. Hardings legacy was overshadowed by corruption. He was surrounded by cronies which took his administration down the rabbit hole of amazing corruption.

Harding preferred to play poker and womanizer rather than tackle the serious questions of his time. Herbert Hoover, who succeeded Harding, said: He was not a man with either the experience or the intellectual quality that the position needed.

Nevertheless, despite Hardings Administration having been one of the most corrupt in modern history, he was still honored on stamps when he died. Yet they still gave him a presidential funeral. West Virginia Gov. Jim Justice signs ban on gender-affirming 'care' for minors Signs of the Times

West Virginia Republican Gov. Jim Justice on Wednesday signed a bill banning gender-affirming care for minors, joining at least 10 other states that have enacted laws restricting or outlawing medically supported treatments for transgender youth. The bill outlaws those under 18 from being prescribed hormone therapy and fully reversible puberty blockers. It also bans minors from receiving gender-affirming surgery, something physicians say doesn't even happen in West Virginia. Unlike measures passed in other states, however, West Virginia's law contains a unique exemption: It permits doctors to prescribe medical therapy if a teenager is considered at risk for self-harm or suicide. Under the law, which will take effect in January 2024, a patient can be prescribed puberty blockers and hormone therapy after receiving parental consent and a diagnosis of severe gender dysphoria from two clinicians, including a mental health provider or an adolescent medicine specialist.

House Judiciary Chair Jim Jordan has demanded that the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) turn over copies of documents related to its search of journalist Matt Taibbi's home on the day he testified before the weaponization subcommittee. Jordan, a Republican from Ohio, has been leading the investigation into the alleged "weaponization" of the federal government, based on concerns from conservatives that some agencies have had a bias against them under the Biden administration. Despite GOP insistence, Democrats in Congress have frequently questioned the validity of the investigation and the quality of some witnesses that have been called to testify. Taibbi is an independent journalist who collaborated with Twitter owner Elon Musk on the "Twitter Files," a project that claimed to reveal new information about prior Twitter leadership's attempt to suppress a story relating to Joe Biden's son, Hunter, in the lead-up to the 2020 election. Conservatives widely hailed the project as evidence...

France in Flames : Macron Attempts to Crush the Movement against the Pension Reform with Lethal Violence CrimethInc.

In France, a powerful movement has erupted in response to an attempt to raise the retirement age. While millions have gone on strike and poured into the streets, President Emmanuel Macron and his henchmen have attempted to crush this movement by escalating police violence to lethal extremes. In the following report, we offer a chronology of the events of the past week, including a translation of an account by one participant in the movement and a statement from the parents of another who remains in a coma. You can read an overview the first phase of the movement and an analysis of the issues at stake here.

When French president Emmanuel Macron ran for office last year, part of his platform was an unpopular pension reform that would force workers to work several years more before retirement. Forced to choose between outright fascists and neoliberals, French voters grudgingly elected Macron, but a showdown has been brewing ever since.

The movement against the pension reform got underway with a strike on January 16, 2023. Polite protests gave way to generalized unrest on March 16 when prime minister lisabeth Borne used article 49.3 of the Constitution to bypass a vote in the National Assembly, implementing the new law by force. As the revolt gathered steam, it expanded beyond opposing the pension reform to rejecting neoliberalism as a whole. The protests, strikes, and blockades became gestures of resistance against the arbitrary power of the executive office as well as against Macron and his cronies (Macron et son monde), reminiscent of the Yellow Vests movement in 2018.

Today, the movement has reached another stage. In response to the intensification of the struggle and the diversification of tactics and battlefronts, police have dramatically escalated the violence with which they are targeting demonstrators. Even corporate business media like the The Financial Times are criticizing Macrons repressive and authoritarian handling of the movement.

Protests in Lorient on Tuesday, March 28.

The General Strike of March 23

On March 22, the day before a general strike called by the unions, Macron stoked the fires of resentment. He showed up to address corporate media wearing a watch worth 80,000 euros, which...

Controversial group behind 'Trans Day of Vengeance' raised money for firearms training Signs of the Times

Despite three nine-year-olds being gunned down by a transgender shooter at a private Christian school in Nashville, activists are still rallying the troops to protest for a 'Trans Day of Vengeance' - months after raising money for firearms training. Transgender shooter Audrey Hale opened fire on the Covenant School in Nashville at 10.30am on Monday, killing Hallie Scruggs, William Kinney and Evelyn Dieckhaus during her rampage at the school. But despite rising political tensions across the country, which saw a press secretary for Arizona Democrat Governor post a Tweet about shooting transphobes, the Trans Radical Activist Network (TRAN) is pushing forward with their protest in DC. The Virginia chapter of the group held a 'dance party fundraiser' in Richmond 'benefiting firearm/self-defense training for trans-Virginians' on March 7, before the mass shooting had taken place.

Twitter removed thousands of posts promoting a "Trans Day of Vengeance" following Monday's shooting at a Nashville public school, a senior executive tweeted. "We had to automatically sweep our platform and remove >5000 tweets /retweets of this poster," Ella G. Irwin, vice president of trust and safety at Twitter, posted Tuesday. "We do not support tweets that incite violence irrespective of who posts them. 'Vengeance' does not imply peaceful protest. Organizing or support for peaceful protests is ok."

Western Europe once ruled the world, now its former powers are just vassals of the US Signs of the Times

Russia and China are shaping global politics while the US dominates its dependents across the Atlantic, leaving them as mere passengers... The meeting of Russian president Vladimir Putin and his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping in Moscow last week was met with predictable accusations in Western circles that Moscow was becoming "subservient" or even a "vassal" of Beijing. MEP Guy Verhofstadt, a Euro-fantasist and former prime minister of Belgium, jeered on Twitter, "Putin's appalling legacy now includes turning Russia more and more into a Chinese vassal state," oblivious to the irony of his own words. As the United States took the lead in denouncing China's peace plan for the Ukraine conflict, publicly setting out the conditions on which it should end, the European Union was nowhere to be seen, or at least had nothing original to say. This makes Verhofstadt's comments a damning display of lacking self-awareness. Russia and China are setting out their vision for a new multipolar world,...

Report: House Republicans to subpoena Antony Blinken for Afghanistan withdrawal dissent cable Signs of the Times

House Republicans will deliver a subpoena to Secretary of State Antony Blinken on Tuesday to turn over classified cables related to the disastrous Afghanistan withdrawal, according to a report. House Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Mike McCaul (R-TX) told the Associated Press on Monday the State Department notified him that it would not turn over a dissent cable written by diplomats at the Kabul Embassy shortly before the August 2021 withdrawal. "We have made multiple good faith attempts to find common ground so we could see this critical piece of information. Unfortunately, Secretary Blinken has refused to provide the Dissent Cable and his response to the cable, forcing me to issue my first subpoena as chairman of this committee." According to the Wall Street Journal, the cable sent July 2021 warned Blinken about the potential fall of Kabul through a special dissent channel, which officials can use to express contrarian views to senior State Department officials. The State...

Trump's lead over DeSantis doubles in latest GOP primary race poll Signs of the Times

Support for former President Donald Trump is continuing to increase within the GOP primary for the 2024 election, gaining the majority of support from Republicans, while many Democrats hope President Joe Biden is in his last term. A recent Fox News survey found that Trump received 54% of the vote when respondents were read a list of 15 declared and likely Republican candidates, doubling his lead over Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL). In March, Trump held a 30-point lead over DeSantis (54%-24%) compared to a 15-point lead in February (43%-28%). Of those who supported Trump in 2020, 60% will support him in the 2024 primary, while 25% pick DeSantis and 5% pick former Vice President Mike Pence. When asked who their second choice would be, Trump primary voters said they would back the Florida governor over the former vice president, and DeSantis supporters said they would vote for Trump.

Ukraine can't defend itself against Russia's newest jets Signs of the Times

The Su-35 has given Moscow's forces "increasing dominance" of the skies, a Kiev government source has told the network... Russia's latest generation of Su-35 fighter jets has capabilities that Kiev's forces can't neutralize, a senior Ukrainian government official has told ABC News. The newest Su-35s are equipped with "very effective radar and long-distance rockets," enabling them to attack Ukrainian jets and provide air support for Russian ground troops, the unidentified source said in an article posted on Monday. Ukraine "does not have capabilities" to counter this threat, he added. Kiev sees Russian air superiority as a "real risk," the official admitted, making its push for more air defense systems from the US "priority No. 1" for Ukraine. "This is a problem," another unidentified official said. "What we keep telling the Americans is that in the end, there is no other solution than to give us fighter jets." He claimed that Russia has 12 times more military aircraft than Ukraine.

Conservative judge fires back after Stanford disruption: 'They hate my work and my ideas' Signs of the Times

U.S. Circuit Judge Kyle Duncan used a lecture at the University of Notre Dame last week to condemn a group of students who disrupted a lecture he was supposed to give at Stanford Law School earlier this month. Duncan, a Trump appointee to the 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, blasted students who disrupted his lecture at Stanford Law earlier this month during an event at Notre Dame that focused on freedom of speech and legal education. "Let's say the quiet part out loud: The mob came to target me because they hate my work and my ideas," Duncan said at the event, which was hosted by Notre Dame's Center for Citizenship and Constitutional Government. Duncan's March 9 visit to Stanford Law set off weeks of controversy that began when students and Tirien Steinbach, a diversity, equity, and inclusion administrator, disrupted his event. Jenny Martinez, the dean of the law school, apologized to Duncan two days after the incident, which elicited more protests from students.

'A total fiasco in all aspects': 20 years on, how the illegal invasion of Iraq backfired on the US Signs of the Times

In March 2003, then President George W Bush approved the military attack, with major repercussions for US politics, and global perceptions of the country... Twenty years ago, the world was shaken by one of the major geopolitical events of this century. On the morning of March 20, 2003, the US officially launched its illegal invasion of Iraq. The rationale was based on Iraqi President Saddam Hussein's alleged ties with terrorists, and intelligence regarding the presence of weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. However, both claims turned out to be false and were later refuted. Russian political analysts believe that the real reasons behind the invasion of Iraq included a desire for control over oil fields, the naive hope of creating a 'showcase of democracy' in the Middle East, and a demonstration of the 'fight against terrorism' to US voters. None of these goals were achieved, but the grievous consequences of the endeavor are evident.

Indigenous people of the American West used 'sacred' horses a half-century earlier than previously thought Signs of the Times

Indigenous oral histories and archaeological evidence are rewriting the story of how horses came to the American West. Centuries-old horse skeletons from the American Southwest are helping rewrite a colonial myth: When the Spanish colonized the region in the 17th century, they didn't introduce horses to Indigenous people, as long thought. Instead, horses were present in the Southwest long before Europeans, and were traded by Indigenous people who formed close, sacred relationships with them, a new study finds. Horses lived in North America for millions of years but went extinct at the end of the last ice age, about 11,000 years ago. When Europeans reintroduced horses to what is now the eastern U.S. in 1519, these hoofed mammals radically altered Indigenous ways of life, rapidly causing changes to food production methods, transportation and warfare. In the Southwest, historical Spanish records suggest horses spread throughout the area after the Pueblo Revolt in 1680, when Indigenous...

The Russian media reported that President Vladimir Putin made an extraordinary gesture as President Xi Jinping left the Kremlin following the state dinner last week on Tuesday evening by escorting him to the limousine and seeing him off. And Xi during the goodbye handshake reportedly responded, "Together, we should push forward these changes that have not happened for 100 years. Take care." Xi was alluding to the past 100 years of modern history that witnessed the United States transforming from a country to the north of Mexico in the Western Hemisphere to a superpower and global hegemon. With his profound sense of history and dialectical mind, Xi was recalling the intense talks with Putin that dwelt on the contemporary realities burying the US' unipolar moment in the dustbin and on the imperatives of China and Russia joining hands to consolidate the transition of the world order toward democratisation and multipolarity. It was an appropriate finale to a state visit that began the...

'Pro-democracy' Arizona Democrats sue to block third party from ballot in bid to protect Biden's 're-election' chances CLG News

'Pro-democracy' Arizona Democrats sue to block third party from ballot in bid to protect Biden's 're-election' chances | 30 March 2023 | After campaigning on fighting for democracy, the Arizona Democratic Party is reportedly suing to stop a third-party organization from accessing the state's presidential ballot in the 2024 election. The lawsuit targets No Labels, a centrist group that aims to give voters a non-extreme presidential option next year and has secured ballot access in three states, including Arizona. Democratic officials will file a complaint Thursday in state court in Phoenix alleging that Secretary of State Adrian Fontes, a Democrat, erroneously accepted signature petitions from the group, The Washington Post reported. The lawsuit claims that accompanying affidavits from proposed electors were signed before all the petitions were gathered, in violation of state statute. "As a result, the Arizona Democratic Party claims the affidavits purporting to verify the petitions should be considered false and the petitions invalid," the Post reported.

'Pro-Moscow' Russian Orthodox monks resist Zelensky's eviction from Ukraine monastery Signs of the Times

Monks have refused an order to leave a Kyiv monastery following accusations they had links to Russia, whose invasion of Ukraine has strained religious ties between the warring neighbors. After Russia's full-scale invasion in February 2022, the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (UOC) officially cut ties with the Moscow Patriarchate, whose primate, Patriarch Kirill has been accused of endorsing the war started by Vladimir Putin. However, Kyiv believes the UOC is de facto dependent on Moscow and terminated the lease that allowed the monks to stay at monastery caves at Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra, which overlooks the Dnipro River and has a key role in both Ukrainian and Russian history. The Ukrainian government had given an eviction deadline of Wednesday to monks at the ancient cave monastery. But Metropolitan Kliment, the head of the information and educational department of the UOC, told reporters the monks would not leave.

Why America Will Lose this War As every one Since WWII Armstrong Economics

A number of people have asked why does Socrates say that the United States will lose this war. One states: The standalone American firepower without UK/ France, etc, itself is tremendous. How does Socrates say that America will lose the war? It may lose financially. The Chinese have the worst track record in any war. Perhaps I should just say, cyclically its just TIME.

The Neocons are in charge of this war. They are trying conventionally for their constant goal of REGIME CHANGE. They are doing what Khrushchev had threatened Communism would win and we will bury you. This is their mantra and they think forcing a Republican form of government upon the rest of the world will bring peace. Those were the dreams of Hitler and Napoleon as well. Communism collapsed because it is simply unsustainable. Nevertheless, the Neocons have never backed down. They objected to Reagan even meeting with Gorbehev saying you can never trust Russians.

The Neocons have pushed endless wars for their hatred. They have NEVER won a single war. The US has lost EVERY war post WWII. Korea was a standoff, and Vietnam, along with Afghanistan were all losses and for what? They remove Saddam Husein and unleashed ISIS where Saddam kept the religious fanatics in check. Their theory was to remove all dictators in the Middle East and that...

'Unfriendly' West triggers consolidation of Russian elite Signs of the Times

The claim that sanctions, the ICC arrest warrant against President Putin, and other unfriendly actions by the West have had no effect on Russian political reality is fundamentally false. After the collapse of the USSR, the new economic elites of Russia aligned themselves firmly with the West. Flattering themselves that they would be whole-heartedly embraced by the Western global aristocracy, they felt little solidarity with their less-fortunate compatriots, and were happy to enable the merciless colonial exploitation of Russia that prevailed in the last decade of the 20th century. The country plunged into chaos, and the poverty of the ordinary people became a stark contrast to the glitter of the oligarchy. It could not go on like this for long. The excesses of the exploiters provoked the rise of a new political class, determined to restore the nation's sovereignty, and, after Putin came to power, the country began the long hard crawl back to self-respect. Amongst the first signs of...

The Shady Past of Keir Starmer, with Oliver Eagleton MintPress News

From hotshot lawyer to head of the Crown Prosecution Services (CPS), Keir Starmer is perhaps not the first person many would associate with the British Labour Party. But the partys shift in ideological stance under former Prime Minister Tony Blair opened the door for the highly polished Starmer to become the leader.

Joining Lowkey on todays episode of The Watchdog is Oliver Eagleton, author and assistant editor of the journal, The New Left Review. Eagleton knows Starmer well; his 2022 biography, The Starmer Project: a Journey to the Right, forensically dissects both Starmers background and his rapid ascension to the top of the party and details the Labour Partys ideological shift from social democracy to neoliberalism.

Today, Eagleton highlights the 60-year-old politicians questionable relationship with Washington during his time as Director of Public Prosecutions, stating:

Starmer developed a close relationship with the Obama administrationhe went over to Washington and had a series of meetings with Eric Holder, head of the DOJ [Department of Justice] who, at the time, is the guy most famous for developing the legal infrastructure around the Obama administrations drone program.

Starmer has played a key role in the prosecution of Wikileaks co-founder Julian Assange. As head of the CPS, he used every weapon in his arsenal to keep the Australian publisher in the country and under constant surveillance, even threatening Swedish prosecutors who wished to drop their charges against him the entire pretense underwriting Assanges detention.

Swedish prosecutors had grown tired of the case, [it was]consuming a lot of resources, and they want to drop it. Again, the CPS intervenes and says no, no, no, you must keep the case going, Eagleton told Lowkey; The exact form of words that they used were: dont you dare get cold feet.

Eagleton was unimpressed by Starmers political history or his ideological consistency. He is just sort of a political chameleon or a blank canvas, and he can sort tack right or tack left, depending on who he is listening to at that moment, he said. What we do know is that the leader of the Labour Party pushed for tougher sentences for a whole range of crimes and demanded more police presence in working-class communities.

Before wrapping up, Oliver Eagleton makes a fundamental distinction between Keir Starmer and Tony Blair as leaders of the Labour Party.

Many have compared Starmer, both in outlook and in tone, to Tony Blair. Yet Eagleton says that this is, if anything, unfair to...

The Swinger Lifestyle: Debunking Taboos and Misconceptions The Event Chronicle

The swinger lifestyle is a topic that has always been shrouded in secrecy and taboo. However, in recent years, there has been an increasing openness and acceptance of the idea of swinging. Despite this, there are still many misconceptions and taboos surrounding the lifestyle. In this article, we will explore and debunk some of these myths.

The swinger life is a term used to describe consensual non-monogamous relationships, where couples or individuals engage in sexual activities with others outside their primary relationship. This could include attending parties, socializing with other couples, or engaging in sexual activities with others.

Understanding the Taboos and Misconceptions

Source: freepik.com

Despite the increasing acceptance of the swinger lifestyle, there are still many misconceptions and taboos surrounding it. These misconceptions often lead to negative judgments and stigma around those who practice swinging.

Myth #1: Swingers are Promiscuous and Sex-Crazed

However, this is far from the truth. Swingers are individuals or couples who have decided to engage in consensually non-monogamous relationships. They are not more promiscuous than individuals in monogamous relationships, and they do not engage in sexual activities more often than monogamous couples.

Myth #2: Swinging is Only for Married Couples

Swinging is not exclusive to married couples. It is open to all consenting adults who are interested in exploring their sexuality and engaging in consensual non-monogamous relationships.

Myth #3: Swinging is a Sign of Relationship Problems

Another common misconception about swinging is that it is a sign of relationship problems. This is far from the truth. In fact, swinging can be beneficial for relationships. It can help couples to communicate better, build trust, and explore their sexuality in a safe and consensual way.

Myth #4: Swinging is Unsafe and Unhealthy...

Torrential rains in Yemen cause floods and cut off towns Signs of the Times

Torrential rainfall across Yemen caused widespread flooding that cut off several towns, local media reported. The rains started overnight and continued into Thursday morning. Reports said that Hadramawt province recorded the most rainfall overnight, with the rain damaging dozens of homes and cutting off several towns. Governance by Artificial Intelligence: The ultimate unaccountable tyranny Signs of the Times

It's no secret that globalist institutions are obsessed with Artificial Intelligence as some kind of technological prophecy. They treat it as if it is almost supernatural in its potential and often argue that every meaningful industrial and social innovation in the near future will owe its existence to AI. The World Economic Forum cites AI as the singular key to the rise of what they call the "Fourth Industrial Revolution." In their view, there can be no human progress without the influence of AI algorithms, making human input almost obsolete. This delusion is often promoted by globalist propagandists. For example, take a look at the summarized vision of WEF member Yuval Harari, who actually believes that AI has creative ability that will replace human imagination and innovation. Not only that, but Harari has consistently argued in the past that AI will run the world much better than human beings ever could.

A state of never-ending crisis: The government is fomenting mass hysteria Signs of the Times

We have become guinea pigs in a ruthlessly calculated, carefully orchestrated, chillingly cold-blooded experiment in how to control a population and advance a political agenda without much opposition from the citizenry. This is mind-control in its most sinister form. With alarming regularity, the nation is being subjected to a spate of violence that terrorizes the public, destabilizes the country, and gives the government greater justifications to crack down, lock down, and institute even more authoritarian policies for the so-called sake of national security without many objections from the citizenry. Take this latest shooting in Nashville, Tenn. The 28-year-old shooter (a clearly troubled transgender individual in possession of several military-style weapons) opened fire in a Christian elementary school, killing three children and three adults. Already, fingers are being pointed and battle lines are being drawn.

Welcome to the age of average Signs of the Times

Introduction: In the early 1990s, two Russian artists named Vitaly Komar and Alexander Melamid took the unusual step of hiring a market research firm. Their brief was simple. Understand what Americans desire most in a work of art. Over 11 days the researchers at Marttila & Kiley Inc. asked 1,001 US citizens a series of survey questions. What's your favourite colour? Do you prefer sharp angles or soft curves? Do you like smooth canvases or thick brushstrokes? Would you rather figures that are nude or clothed? Should they be at leisure or working? Indoors or outside? In what kind of landscape?

The Future Of Test Automation: Trends To Watch Out For In 2023 The Event Chronicle

Test automation has been an integral component of software development in recent years. As technology improves, software applications become more sophisticated, and manual testing is no longer sufficient to ensure software quality. Test automation services guarantee software reliability, efficiency, and performance as planned.

Teams working on software constantly seek new methods to enhance their testing processes in todays fast-paced technological ecosystem. Integration of artificial intelligence and machine learning, shift-left testing, automation in Agile and DevOps contexts, cloud-based automated testing, and test automation are all current developments in test automation.

A test automation company plays the role of a main character in Agile and DevOps contexts because aggregates and releases are enabled through test automation, minimizing downtime between software creation and deployment. This allows teams to spot problems more rapidly and effectively, leading to quicker resolution and higher unit testing.

Hungary comments on Ukraine's NATO and EU bids Signs of the Times

Budapest will not support Kiev's membership due to discrimination against minorities, the foreign minister has insisted. Hungary will not agree to Ukraine joining NATO and the EU as long as Kiev continues to discriminate against ethnic Hungarians living in Transcarpathia, Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto has stated. Szijjarto added that he raised the issue at a meeting with the UN assistant secretary general for human rights, Ilze Brands Kehris. Up to 99 Hungarian primary and secondary schools are in danger of being closed in Ukraine due to the nation's education law, Szijjarto said. "I made it clear to Ilze Brands Kehris... that Hungary will not be able to support Ukraine's transatlantic and European integration [bids] under any circumstances as long as Hungarian schools in the Transcarpathia region are in danger," the minister posted on Facebook on Friday.

CANADA: Male powerlifter breaks women's record to protest gender self-identification policy Signs of the Times

A male powerlifting coach self-identified into the women's category and broke the Alberta women's bench press record in an apparent effort to protest gender self-identification policies in sport. Avi Silverberg, a powerlifting coach who has worked with Team Canada, self-identified as a woman last week to participate in the women's category at the Heroes Classic Powerlifting Meet held in Lethbridge, Alberta. Silverberg was attempting to highlight the unfair advantage males have when competing in women's athletics. In participating in the Saturday event, Silverberg unofficially broke the Alberta women's bench press record for the 84+ kilograms category. The Canadian Powerlifting Union (CPU) announced a gender self-identification policy earlier this year, explicitly allowing any males to participate in women's competitions on the basis of "gender" alone.

There is no denying that this is a digital world. Moreover, it is challenging to find the cons of anything going digital for a change towards betterment. There are endless benefits that the freight brokerage has also been able to experience with the development of modern freight broker software.

Connecting shippers with carriers was cumbersome when traditional methods were used. FBI and Chris Wray missed Nashville school shooter's manifesto and final messages - instead focused on empowering female officers in "diversity" pledge on SAME DAY as shooting Signs of the Times

At 12:41 pm CT on Tuesday, the FBI's official Twitter page shared this news. On March 27, the day that three young students and three teachers were murdered by a transgender who kept a manifesto and mapped out her plan in Nashville, TN, the FBI published their report about joining "a push to recruit more female sworn law enforcement officers and to empower them professionally." The implausibility of a net zero carbon energy future is now obvious Signs of the Times

EU Drafts Plan to Allow E-Fuel Combustion Engine Cars Reuters reports EU Drafts Plan to Allow E-Fuel Combustion Engine Cars The European Commission has drafted a plan to allow sales of new cars with internal combustion engines after 2035 if they run only on climate neutral e-fuels, as it tries to resolve a spat with Germany over moves to phase out combustion engine cars. The draft proposal, seen by Reuters on Tuesday, suggests creating a new type of vehicle category in the European Union for cars that can only run on carbon neutral fuels. Such vehicles would have to use technology that would prevent them from driving if other fuels are used, the draft said. The proposal could offer a route for carmakers to keep selling combustion engine vehicles after 2035, the date when a planned EU law is set to ban the sale of new CO2-emitting cars.

Top 8 Tips for Faster Home Painting: How to Get Your Project Done in Record Time The Event Chronicle

Painting your home can be a daunting task, especially if you have a large surface area to cover. However, with the right techniques and tools, you can get the job done in record time. In this article, well share some top tips for faster home painting that will help you achieve a professional-looking finish without breaking a sweat.

1. Prep the Surface

Source: myboysen.com

Before you start, its crucial to prepare the surface youll be working on. This includes cleaning the walls, sanding any rough spots, and filling in any cracks or holes. By taking the time to prep the surface properly, youll ensure that the paint adheres smoothly and lasts longer.

2. Use High-Quality Paint and Tools

Investing in high-quality paint and tools is essential for achieving a professional-looking finish. A cheap paint may be tempting, but it can end up costing you more in the long run as it may require additional coats and may not last as long. Quality brushes, rollers, and painters will help you, saving you time and effort.

3. Choose the Right Time to Paint

The time of day you choose to paint can make a big difference in how quickly the job gets done. Avoid painting in direct sunlight, as this can cause the paint to dry too quickly, leaving brush marks and an uneven finish. Instead, opt for a cooler, overcast day, or do it in the early morning or late afternoon when the sun is less intense.

COVID-19 not responsible for "explosion" in heart deaths. Major autopsy study shows "must be the vaccine" Signs of the Times

Since the early days of the pandemic there has been a concern that SARS-CoV-2 infection in humans could cause heart inflammation and thus cardiac injury and death. A number of observational studies have appeared to show increased heart problems following infection, though the observational nature of these studies has led to criticism they are confounded and unreliable. Other studies have not found an increase in heart problems following Covid infection and have established that myocarditis was not above baseline in 2020. Now the lack of relationship between COVID-19 and heart inflammation has been confirmed in a systematic review of 50 autopsy studies covering 548 hearts of patients who died of or with COVID-19. While around two thirds of the hearts had SARS-CoV-2 found in the tissue, none had extensive myocarditis as the cause of death. Top heart doctor Peter McCullough comments on the study - which was published last year - that it "should be the nail in the coffin in ruling out...

Paris protest turns violent Signs of the Times

A pension reform protest in Paris degenerated into violence on Tuesday, as groups of masked rioters clashed with heavily-armored riot police. Authorities say nearly 100,000 people marched in the French capital, as public anger over the government's pension reform plan refuses to subside. The march started out peacefully, but as the crowd neared its destination of Place de la Nation in the east of the city center, activists dressed in black set fire to a storefront, prompting police to charge the crowd with batons drawn. Demonstrators were clubbed back and water cannons brought out to disperse stragglers. Comment: Agent provocateurs? Video footage showed ranks of officers raining down blows upon the frontmost rows of demonstrators, some of whom responded by throwing rocks and other projectiles.

Immigration Appeals and Reviews: What to Expect and How to Prepare for Them The Event Chronicle

If you have applied for immigration to Canada, and your application has been denied or refused, you may feel hopeless and frustrated. However, there are options available to you that may allow you to still achieve your goals. One such option is filing an immigration appeal or review.

What is an Immigration Appeal or Review?

Source: 123visa.ca

This is a legal process that allows an applicant to challenge a decision made by Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) or the Immigration and Refugee Board (IRB) regarding their application. The appeal process is available for certain types of applications, such as refugee claims, family sponsorship, and permanent residency applications.

When an appeal or review is filed, the case will be heard by the Immigration Appeal Division (IAD) or the Federal Court of Canada. The IAD is responsible for hearing appeals for family sponsorship applications, removal orders, and residency obligations. The Federal Court of Canada, on the other hand, is responsible for hearing appeals for refugee claims and certain other types of applications.

What to Expect During the Immigration Appeal or Review Process?

The immigration appeal or review process can be lengthy and complex. It is essential to work with a Toronto immigration lawyer who has experience with the process and can guide you through it. Here is a general overview of what you can expect during the process:

1. Filing the Appeal or Review: The first step is to file it with the appropriate tribunal or court. You will need to provide detailed reasons for the appeal or review and supporting evidence.

2. Case Management Conference: Once the appeal or review has been filed, a case management conference will be scheduled. This conference is an opportunity for both parties to discuss the case and any outstanding issues.

3. Hearing: The next step is the hearing, where the case will be presented to the tribunal or court. The hearing will be conducted in a formal setting and may invo...

Wind Power Fails on Every Count: Oxford Scientist Explains the Math Terra Forming Terra

Here we are and it is literally forty years on in the wind power build out. I have yet to see someone come in and show me that these plants ever simply pay for themselves without all sorts of tax breaks and all that. I do not think that they actually can. It is like writing off a million dollar investment just to earn a living wage.

More to the point we do have better alternatives than all this.  Even solar from the desert is likely much better if we are using batteries.  Wind wou;ld be much better with batterties as well but the cap cost remains huge.  solar is progressing to full reliability, but we still need to see batteries in the system.

The best alternative is a cooling tower like system that uses air pressure gradient to produce a natural driving vaccuum to operate a massive rotational wheel.  Just saying.  I will take the contract.

5 Months to Kill: The terrifying relationship between Deaths, COVID Deaths & Covid-19 Vaccination Terra Forming Terra

The science is now getting fully updated and we appear to have a five month lag from injection to observing a death event.  I think i am reading that right.  This was more than enough to initially hide what was really happening with short term effects.

It also tells us that something long term is happening in the victims.  If you survive five months, you are unlikely then to die, but there is no telling how much damage was inflicted.  Of course, no one is likely doing autopsys ofn accidental deaths in order to establish a proper baseline for vaccine damage yet.

There never was a pandemic per se, but we certainly had agent distributed engineered corona viruses to spoof such a pandemic.  This was then used to drive fear and sell the faux vaccine which was never a vaccine.  On top of that stats were manipulated globally to jui ce the death rate.

Happy yet.  what really bothers me is that i almost made them from the get go.  Yet here we are, just like climate change, claiming still that it is real.

We will discover who played and all will be banded before we actually investigate crimes committed.  No rush then.

More than two dozen Democrats join GOP in opposing Biden gas stove ban CLG News

More than two dozen Democrats join GOP in opposing Biden gas stove ban --"Clearly, the plan to ban gas stoves was already in the works even before federal bureaucrats said the quiet part out loud earlier this year." - Rep. Palmer | 29 March 2023 | The House of Representatives approved an amendment -- with help from several Democrats -- late Wednesday that would prevent the Department of Energy (DOE) from implementing strict new regulations on gas stoves that most stoves on the market today would not be able to meet. The House voted 251 to 181 in favor of the amendment from Rep. Gary Palmer, R-Ala., to a larger energy policy bill, and 29 Democrats voted with the GOP. Republicans have been looking to defend the use of gas stoves ever since the Consumer Product Safety Commission indicated it could ban stoves for health reasons. That idea was scrapped, but it was followed by a proposed DOE regulation that would impose tough new energy efficiency standards for gas stoves.

Biden Ridiculed Russias Threat to Form an Alliance with China (1997) Armstrong Economics

Neither this speech nor Joe has aged well. On June 20, 1997, Joe Biden laughed at Russias threat to form an alliance with China if NATO were to expand into Eastern Europe. Joe told a Russian advisor to try Iran if China turned them away. Now in 2023, Russia has formed an alliance with both China and Iran. It is safe to say our politicians, who were in office then and remain in office today, continually underestimate foreign powers.

Bidens speech and mannerisms are completely different today and indicative of a serious mental decline. His current behavior today is far beyond typical aging, and having a senile senior with access to our nuclear codes is a threat to world peace. But he loves ice cream so everyone on the left laughs it off.

Putin was Yeltsins deputy-in-chief at this time of this speech, and Bill Clinton was the president of the US. Baltic states were lining up to join NATO back then, which threatened Russias national security. Biden insisted that Russia would have no alternative but to look West. This was one of the original plans to infiltrate Russia and install a pro-Western leader. The United States attempted to interfere in the Russian election a mere two years later, which you can read more about in my upcoming book: The Plot to Seize Russia. I will make an announcement on the blog once the book is available for purchase.

As for Bidens speech, we have seen the alliances form over the past year. Chinese President Xi Jinping declared a no limits partnership with Russia weeks before the invasion of Ukraine. Iran is supplying Russia with weapons and hoping to align with Russia and China. The BRICs partnership remains strong and China brokered a peace deal between Saudi Arabia and Iran. Perhaps the West has poked the bear one too many times.

Here are Joe Bidens current thoughts (or lack thereof):

China wants Apple Back Chinas Davos Armstrong Economics

Chinas zero COVID policy isolated the nation for nearly three years and caused businesses to flee. One of the steepest losses occurred when Apple halted the production of the iPhone 14 in China. If you recall, Foxconn, once the largest iPhone producer in the world, underwent a lengthy lockdown in November 2022. In response, Apple moved a portion of its manufacturing to India and Vietnam.

In October, before the lockdown, Foxconn produced 85% of iPhone Pros. Apple experienced its steepest quarterly revenue decline in half a decade, and the company blamed China for causing production delays. Anti-China sentiment was also a factor, as cheap labor could be found elsewhere without the false label of being a Chinese company. However, departing from China cannot happen overnight.

China Premier Li Qiang is now attempting to stop Apple from gradually exiting China. Beijing plans to host the China Development Forum, often called Chinas Davos, and has extended an invitation to Apple CEO Tim Cook. Aljazeera reported that attendees of this years event include US Secretary of State Henry Kissinger, Procter & Gamble Chief Executive Jon Moeller, PwC Global Chairperson Bob Moritz, and HSBC Chief Executive Noel Quinn.

Chinas growth target for 2023 sits at 5%, which is unusually low for the second-largest economy. Cook has already made a visit to China ahead of the summit and expressed optimism that the supply chain issues could be repaired. Losing Apple completely would be detrimental to Chinas economy and image. Time will tell how China can navigate US sanctions and retain the business it lost under the zero COVID policy.

Employers spend more than $400 million a year fighting unions Fast Company

The money is spent on union-avoidance consultants, and because of reporting loopholes the real amount is likely much higher.

Though a majority of Americans support unions, just a small fraction of workersabout 12%are actually in one. Labor experts say one reason for that discrepancy has to do with the efforts companies have made to fight or derail union organizing. And all those efforts have come at a hefty cost: Employers spend more than $400 million a year on union-avoidance consultants, according to the Economic Policy Institute.

10 Habits Of Unhappy People Awareness Act

Happiness may come naturally to some, and a little less so to others, however, there are certain habits that can contribute to our unhappiness. In life, our habits often are what make our way.

With that said, yes, there will be circumstances beyond your control that will make you unhappy at times. But, if you find you are unhappy much of the time, then it is likely that your unhappiness may be caused by your mindset and habits. Of course, this article isnt meant to cause any harm or to criticize. Instead, it is a chance to observe and even highlight some of the habits in your life that may be contributing to your unhappiness.

1. They are control freaks.

In life, there are some things we can control and some that are beyond our control. If you do not understand or refuse to see the things that are beyond your control, you are going to have a tough time.

2. They expect perfection.

Perfection is a pipe dream that does not exist. Nothing in this world is perfect and if your expectations are perfection, then you are setting yourself up for failure. Not only that but trying to be perfect will set you up to constantly fight yourself and life in general.

3. They compare.

It is far too easy to play the comparison game these days. Social media has made it SO easy for us to see every highlight of everyones lives and then, we compare ourselves and our lives to that. The thing is- people only show you what they want you to see, so you are comparing yourself to a work of fiction.

4. They have destination sickness.

Destination sickness is a nice way of saying you are always waiting for the future. One day I will be happy when I can ______, or One day Ill be happy when I have ______. The thing is- you have to choose happiness now, if you want it.

5. They isolate.

Its tempting to isolate when you are feeling down. However, this habit will only ensure you stay unhappy. People are social creatures and we need other people. Without them, we end up stuck in our heads and if you are already unhappy, chances are, this is NOT a good idea.

6. They have a victim mentality.

There are certain people who are always a victim. No matter what the circumstance, they choose to be the victim. Dont get me wrong, sometimes, we truly are the victim. However, at some point, you have to say it is what it is and do what you can with what youve got.

7. They complain.

Complainers only focus on what is wrong or bad. In turn, this changes their mindset and shifts it to a place of negativity. If you want a happy mindset, you have to be able to practice gratitude.

8. They are hypercritical.

Weve all met that person, the one who observes everyone and always finds a fault. No matter what someone does, its not enough, and there is always a reason to point out someones fl...

8 Things Boys Need to Hear Their Father Say At Home Awareness Act

Fathers play a very important role in their sons life. The way that a father speaks, the way that he behaves and the way that he carries himself will all influence how his son turns out.

That may sound a bit dramatic, but lets get real: its obvious that parents play a critical role in who their child becomes. Say what you will, but words have power. As a father, your words can make or break your son. While there are some things you should never say, that isnt what this article is about. Instead, we are going to focus on what you SHOULD say.

1. Im sorry.

It is so important that boys hear their fathers say that they are sorry. While it might seem like the tough thing to do, to act as though you are perfect, or can do no wrong, it is better to man up and admit when you are wrong. If you do, your son will have no problem admitting they are wrong, too.

2. I love you.

It might seem obvious that you love your son, but he needs to hear it. And I dont mean every once in a while. I mean, he needs to hear it every day, multiple times a day.

3. Honey, how can I help you?

If you notice your wife struggling, make sure that you are attentive and are offering to contribute. One day your son will have a wife or a partner, and you will want them to treat her right. Dont sit around watching your partner in front of your kids.

4. You are competent.

Your children will not have much confidence in themselves, to begin with. It is we as parents that help build that confidence. One way you can do this is by affirming that you believe in your child.

5. I messed up, heres how I plan to fix it.

When you fail, dont be afraid to say it. Why? Because when you admit you failed and then verbally explain how you plan to fix it or to push forward, you are encouraging a growth mindset in your child.

6. I am feeling very frustrated right now. (Or any explanation of emotion. )

Your children will learn emotional intelligence from you. If you bury your emotions and pretend as though everything is okay all the time, your kids will learn that is how you handle emotions. Instead, when you are feeling upset or overwhelmed, say it.

7. I need help.

Everyone needs help sometimes. If you are one of those who struggle to ask for help, I implore you to work on this. Why? Because you want your child to be able to ask for help when they need it.

8. I see you are upset.

Showing empathy teaches empathy. When your child or anyone in your household is dealing with something, show empathy so your child will learn this skill too.

The Y Chromosome Is Disappearing And This Could Be Bad For Mankind Awareness Act

The Y chromosome is the chromosome that is responsible for masculinity and biological manhood. However, researchers are beginning to understand that the y chromosome is disappearing and may one day disappear completely.

Over time, researchers have noticed that the y chromosome is shriveling. While it may not be eradicated for another 4.6 million years, when you consider that life has existed for 3.5 billion years, you see that this timing is still relevant.

Now, lets be clear, the y chromosome hasnt always been this way. Around 166 million years ago, the early proto-Y chromosome was the same size as the Y chromosome and still had all of the same genes. Fast forward to modern times, and this simply isnt the case.

The X chromosome contains around 900 genes that do many jobs, not related to gender. The Y chromosome only contains around 55 genes, including noncoding DNA that doesnt do much of anything. The good news? Many rodents have completely lost their Y chromosomes and they continue to thrive.

Still, research has also shown that the Y chromosome is fighting for its life by attempting to slow the loss. In a Danish study, they sequenced the portions of the Y chromosome from 62 men and found that their structural gene rearrangements were allowing gene amplification, which copies genes to assist in healthy sperm function.

Even with this said, the Y chromosomes days are numbered. Many species have already phased out the y chromosome, and when this happens to us, one of two things will happen: either a new sex-determining gene will develop over time or the human race will cease to exist. The good news is that the research supports the latter.

What this could mean is that we could see a new species of human a few million years down the line. Either that, or we will be completely eradicated. Only time will tell.

Zodiac Killers Final Messages Decoded, Nearly 55 Years After The Fact Awareness Act

Back in the 1960s and 1970s a serial killer was on the loose and was known as the zodiac killer. During his run, he killed nearly five people in the Northern California Bay area.

His first two victims were high school students who were parked in their car, on their first date. In his later attacks, he murdered the women of two couples, while their partners survived. A male San Francisco cab driver was his last known victim.

Throughout his span, he sent letters to the media, taking credit for the kills. To prove he was who he said he was, he gave details from the scenes that only the killer would have known. His messages were written through a cipher, in which he used different symbols to represent letters. His first letters were sent to three papers in the region, and each contained a different cipher.

The papers then ran the ciphers as directed by the zodiac killer, who threatened to kill more if they did not comply. One of his simpler ciphers was decoded as I LIKE KILLING PEOPLE BECAUSE IT IS SO MUCH FUN IT IS MORE FUN THAN KILLING WILD GAME IN THE FORREST BECAUSE MAN IS THE MOST DANGEROUS ANIMAL OF ALL TO KILL SOMETHING GIVES ME THE MOST THRILLING EXPERIENCE IT IS EVEN BETTER THAN GETTING YOUR ROCKS OFF WITH A GIRL THE BEST PART OF IT IS THAT WHEN I DIE I WILL BE REBORN IN PARADICE AND ALL THE I HAVE KILLED WILL BECOME MY SLAVES I WILL NOT GIVE YOU MY NAME BECAUSE YOU WILL TRY TO SLOW DOWN OR STOP MY COLLECTING OF SLAVES FOR MY AFTERLIFE EBEORIETEMETHHPITI.

However, many of his letters were so complex, they could not be decoded until 2020. The cipher had been unsolved for so long, it had a huge target on its back, and I felt like it was a challenge that had a chance of being solved, stated Dave Oranchak, who was a part of the team of three men who cracked the code. It was an exciting project to work on, and it was on many peoples top unsolved ciphers of all time lists.

His final code read, I HOPE YOU ARE HAVING LOTS OF FUN IN TRYING TO CATCH ME THAT WASNT ME ON THE TV SHOW WHICH BRINGS UP A POINT ABOUT ME I AM NOT AFRAID OF THE GAS CHAMBER BECAUSE IT WILL SEND ME TO PARADISE ALL THE SOONER BECAUSE I NOW HAVE ENOUGH SLAVES TO WORK FOR ME WHERE EVERYONE ELSE HAS NOTHING WHEN THEY REACH PARADICE SO THEY ARE AFRAID OF DEATH I AM NOT AFRAID BECAUSE I KNOW THAT MY NEW LIFE WILL BE AN EASY ONE IN PARADISE DEATH.

Since the news, the FBI did confirm that the cryptogram was solved. According to the FBI, The FBI is aware that a cipher attributed to the Zodiac Killer was recently solved by private citizens. The Zodiac Killer case remains an ongoing investigation for the FBI San Francisco division and our local law enforcement partners. The Zodiac Killer terrorized multiple communities across Northern California and even though decades have gone by, we continue to seek justice for the victims of these brutal crimes. Due to the ongoing nature of the investigation, and ou...

Female Octopuses Throw Seashells At Males Who Annoy Them Awareness Act

Octopuses, known for their intelligence and unique behaviors, continue to fascinate researchers and marine life enthusiasts alike. One such behavior is the act of female octopuses throwing seashells at male counterparts who irritate them. This fascinating act of aggression not only offers a glimpse into the complex social dynamics of these creatures but also highlights their remarkable problem-solving abilities.

Astonishing Octopus Intellect:

Often hailed as the most intelligent of all invertebrates, octopuses possess sophisticated cognitive abilities, such as learning through observation, solving complex problems, and even displaying self-awareness. With over 500 million neurons and large brain-to-body ratios, these cephalopods have demonstrated impressive escape artistry, camouflage, and tool usage. Its no wonder that octopuses have become a subject of ongoing fascination for marine biologists and the general public.

Seashell-Throwing Antics:

Recent studies have unveiled a rather interesting and humorous behavior displayed by female octopuses hurling seashells at bothersome males. This behavior was first observed in female Octopus tetricus, a species native to the eastern coast of Australia. When a male octopus attempts to mate with an uninterested female, she will often use her powerful arms to collect nearby seashells or debris, which she then flings at the persistent suitor. This unusual act of aggression serves as a clear message to the male: back off.

The Art of Projectile Warfare:

The remarkable thing about this behavior is the precision with which the female octopuses execute it. Using their arms, which are equipped with highly sensitive suckers, they can deftly manipulate and propel the seashells with astonishing accuracy. This projectile warfare highlights the octopuss excellent spatial awareness and fine motor skills, traits that have long intrigued researchers.

Implications for Octopus Behavior:

The discovery of this shell-throwing behavior adds a new layer of complexity to our understanding of octopus social dynamics. It suggests that these animals possess the capacity to convey their desires and assert their personal boundaries, a quality that was previously thought to be exclusive to more advanced vertebrates. Furthermore, this behavior offers an opportunity to study the evolutionary benefits of such aggression, shedding light on the possible pressures faced by female octopuses in their natural habitat.

Female octopuses hurling seashells at unwelcome males is a fascinating example of the unique behaviors exhibited by these intelligent creatures. Not only does it highlight their problem-solving abilities, but it also opens a new avenue for understanding the complexities of octopus social interactions. As researchers continue to unravel the mysteries of these remarkable animals, we can be sure that the octopus will continue to astound us with i...

Xu Xueyuan, charg d'affaires at Beijing's embassy in the US, also sounded an alarm about another "serious confrontation" in the rival powers' relations if a planned meeting between Tsai and US House Speaker Kevin McCarthy were to take place. Xu conveyed those messages at a press conference on Wednesday a few minutes after Tsai landed in New York as a stopover en route for her 10-day trip to Central America. Tsai is also expected to visit Los Angeles during her return trip next week where she is expected to meet McCarthy, a California Republican.

Pharmacy benefit managers trade association increased federal lobbying spending amid drug pricing scrutiny Original Journalism from OpenSecrets News

Pharmacy benefit managers, the middlemen of the U.S. pharmaceutical supply chain, are under the microscope for their role in the high price of prescription drugs. The Pharmaceutical Care Management Association, a pharmacy benefit manager trade association, has sharply increased its federal lobbying spending to oppose legislation that would require managers to be more transparent in their business practices.

Three players dominate the landscape: CVS Caremark, Express Scripts and OptumRX. Through rapid industry consolidation, these three pharmacy benefit managers controlled roughly 80% of the market. CVS Caremark, Express Scripts and OptumRX are subsidiaries of CVS, Cigna and UnitedHealth, respectively.

Pharmacy benefit managers are primarily responsible for processing and paying prescription drug claims. These third-party administrators also negotiate drug prices with manufacturers, pharmacies and insurers. Some critics argue consolidation has led to reduced competition, contributing to higher drug prices.

But the Pharmaceutical Care Management Association...

China, Brazil strike deal to ditch dollar for trade Signs of the Times

China and Brazil have reached a deal to trade in their own currencies, ditching the US dollar as an intermediary, the Brazilian government said on Wednesday, Beijing's latest salvo against the almighty greenback. The deal will enable China, the top rival to US economic hegemony, and Brazil, the biggest economy in Latin America, to conduct their massive trade and financial transactions directly, exchanging yuan for reais and vice versa instead of going through the dollar. "The expectation is that this will reduce costs... promote even greater bilateral trade and facilitate investment," the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil) said in a statement.

Facing Clear Evidence of Peril in a Country of Lies Dissident Voice

In my seventy-plus years from 1946 to now, the chorus of fear-mongering bullshit has never ceased only grown louder. The joke is on us. Ha Ha Ha.

Oliver Stone, Chasing the Light

Perhaps silence is the best response to the endless cavalcade of official lies that is United States history. The Internet and digital technology have allowed those lies to increase exponentially in number and frequency with the result that peoples minds have become like 7-Eleven stores, open 24/7 for snack-crap news.

But once you become conscious that its lies night and day, it sets your head aswirl and plunges your soul into depths of despair. You are tempted to retreat from such knowledge and talk of trees and trivia. But you are ashamed of your country. Its hard to laugh. You feel you are drowning. You flounder and gasp for air. You look around and wonder why most people are able to go their merry ways believing the lies and whistling in the dark. Junk news nation, indeed.

Yes, there are alternative voices who tell the truth, but their audiences and monetary support are very small or non-existent compared to the corporate mainstream media and those who shout and scream across the Internet as they take in a lot of money from naive followers. The recent revelations about Alex Joness wealth probably doesnt bother his diehard fans, but they should. Likewise, the funding sources for websites and writers of various persuasions are important to know, for they reveal possible biases in their work. Snake oil salesmen are commonplace, and there are many naive customers lining up for their wares.

Wealth and power are the main drivers of the media chicanery that has captured so many minds. Writers, of course, should be fairly paid for their work, but in this Internet age, most are not. As with the movies and book publishing, the income gap between the big names the celebrity stars and less well-known writers, even if their work is excellent, is huge.

Some sites and writers make a lot of money, but who they are is a guessing game. No ones talking. Some regularly tell their readers that if they dont receive enough contributions, they will be unable to continue to write or publish, even when the sites do not pay their contributors. Whether this is good marketing or income-by-threat is up for grabs. Whichever it is, it seems to work, as far as I can tell, for these writers and websites dont disappear.

Money is the dirty secret of all news and commentary. To paraphrase someone: It is very difficult to get truth from writers whose income is dependent on pleasing those who fund them.

You may have noticed how many former military officers, CIA agents, mainstream journalists, pharmaceutical company executives, and sundry other government and corporate bigwigs appear in the mainstream and alternative media to support or oppose government policies. The mainstream...

The Four Types of Play of Roger Caillois Dissident Voice

Orientation

What is play? What are its types and its psychological impacts?

In what way is play different from other human activities? In what ways is play different across the life cycle, from childhood to adolescence to adulthood?  Do people ever stop playing? How many kinds of play are there? What is the difference in the psychological states between playing in a baseball game, playing with crossword puzzles, entering the lottery, watching a puppet show, or rolling down a hill? A child riding on a carousel in not in the same state as one who is in a state of suspenseful anticipation after betting, then watching the roulette wheel. We will find out what these differences are.

What is the relationship between society and play?

Authors such as Johan Huizinga go so far as to say that all social organization from economics to politics to law and technology are derived from play. Others say that the forms of play are driven by changes in human societies. For example, games of chance are primary in hunting and gathering societies because the hunt itself is a very unpredictable activity. As the food supply becomes more stable, games where the outcome is more controlled will grow greater as humans feel more stable in their economic life. So the question is what is primary and what is secondary? The basic themes of sociology of play are that social institutions such as economics, politics and family institutions as derivable from play, just as play can be explained by economics, politics and family structures. Evolutionary biologists dont buy the value of play. They claim that play is a useless activity in terms of Darwinian natural selection.

Why write about a book that is 90 years old?

Over 20 years ago, I became interested in environmental psychology and discovered there was a whole field in sociology called leisure studies. One of the main topics covered was theories of play. Besides the famous book by Johan Huizinga, I came across the work of Roger Caillois and his extremely original theory of play. I was riveted! I found his book Man, Play and Games and devoured it in about a week. However, I had no immediate use for the book either in books I was writing or classes I was teaching. I wrote a five-page summary of the book and left it at that. But I never forgot the book. I remembered it for its interdisciplinary intellectual orientation and its range in writing about every type of play. Caillois book was written over 90 years ago, so you are not going to find anything here about the positive and negative impact of Dungeons and Dragons on peoples psychology. Neither will you find the impact of video games on peoples level of happiness. However, despite its age, I beli...

European Union countries' energy ministers gave final approval on Tuesday to a law ending sales of new CO2-emitting cars in the EU in 2035, after Germany won an exemption for cars running on e-fuels. The law will now enter into force. It will require all new cars sold to have zero CO2 emissions from 2035, and 55% lower CO2 emissions from 2030, versus 2021 levels. The European Commission has pledged, however, to propose additional rules allowing sales of new combustion engine cars that only run on e-fuels to continue after 2035, after Germany demanded this exemption from the ban.

The sun has developed a 'coronal hole' 20 times the size of Earth Signs of the Times

The sun has developed a massive "hole" 20 times larger than Earth, marking the second such occurrence in a week. The coronal hole is unleashing solar winds of 2.9 million km/h towards the Earth, which will hit our planet on Friday. Scientists are carefully monitoring the situation to assess if the winds will impact our planet's magnetic field and satellites - with the potential for knock-on effects on the internet, mobile phone networks and GPS. Coronal holes are usually harmless, experts say, and are usually found near the sun's poles. They are cooler, less dense areas of the star and appear during the less active stage of the sun's 11-year cycle. "Coronal holes are magnetically open areas that are one source of high-speed solar wind," NASA says. "They appear dark when viewed in many wavelengths of extreme ultraviolet light, such as seen here. At times, the solar wind can generate aurora at higher latitudes on Earth."

African countries are beginning to recognize their own national interests and are breaking away from the Western-dominated world order, Oleg Ozerov, the head of the Secretariat of the Russia-Africa Partnership Forum has claimed in an exclusive interview to RT. Speaking to RT host Oksana Boyko, Ozerov noted that African-Russian relations have been on a significant upswing in recent years and that Russia is treating its African partners in a dramatically different manner than Western countries, which have retained a colonial mindset in their dealings with the continent. This mindset "manifests itself in the form of patronizing attitudes, lecturing and moralizing, insisting that the Western model alone should be accepted as a gift from the gods by our African friends" the diplomat explained, adding that this "aura of arrogance" is backed by a desire to keep African nations dependent and subservient to the West.

Bellingcat and mouse game reveals advance Russian intelligence of Nordstream attack operation Signs of the Times

The NATO intelligence publicity department known as Bellingcat has just produced new NATO-sourced evidence of an elaborate cat-and-mouse game which the navies and air forces of Denmark, Sweden, Germany, Poland, and the US played against Russian forces in the Baltic Sea off Bornhom Island in the week before the detonation of explosives on the Nord Stream gas pipelines last September 26. Cat and mouse is also the game the NATO propaganda agencies are now playing. The aim of the intelligence, published last week by the quasi-state German media platform called T-Online, and in the Danish offshoot of Bellingcat known as Oliver Alexander, is to accuse the Russian Navy of the pipeline attack, using a mini-submarine and deep-sea divers. This is based on NATO and US identification and tracking of a six-vessel Russian flotilla several days before the explosions - an intelligence vessel, a deep-sea operations vessel, two tugs, and heavily armed anti-ship and anti-submarine frigate and...

Here's why Human Rights Watch deliberately only scratched the surface in exploring Ukraine's use of banned 'petal' mines Signs of the Times

The American NGO begrudgingly acknowledges one of Kiev's war crimes, but not without smearing Russia along the way... Since Ukraine dropped thousands of mines on the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) in July, 104 people have fallen victim to the internationally-banned PFM-1 'petal' (otherwise known as 'butterfly') devices. Nine of them are children. Of which three died. Among the most recent civilians to be injured, on March 19, were two 60-year-old men. On February 26, a woman in her sixties was wounded in her neighborhood. On February 14, a teenager stepped on a petal mine near a school. These are just a few documented examples from recent weeks. The first wave of over 40 victims came within the first few weeks after Ukrainian forces deployed the mines over Donetsk en masse in July 2022, and the number has more than doubled since. Since then I, along with other reporters on the ground, have documented their lingering presence and the civilian victims. NGO reports... selectively...

US politicians 'held captive by their own propaganda' - Moscow Signs of the Times

The American establishment still buys into the "dangerous delusion" of a preventative nuclear first strike, Russia's security chief has said... US politicians are "held captive by their own propaganda" and still believe that Washington could deliver a fatal nuclear 'first strike' against Russia, the secretary of the Russian Security Council, Nikolay Patrushev, has said. That Cold War-era strategy, however, is nothing but a "dangerous" and "short-sighted" delusion nowadays, Patrushev said in an interview with the newspaper Rossiyskaya Gazeta published on Monday. "Held captive by their own propaganda, American politicians for some reason remain confident that in the event of a direct conflict with Russia, the US is capable of delivering a preventive missile strike, after which Russia will no longer be able to respond. This is a short-sighted delusion, and a very dangerous one." The 'first strike' strategy dates back to the early days of the Cold War between the Soviet Union and the...

Congressman demands IRS explain Matt Taibbi home visit Signs of the Times

The tax authority sent an agent to the independent journalist's New Jersey home earlier this month... Republican Congressman Jim Jordan has demanded the Treasury Department and Internal Revenue Service explain why an agent of the tax authority visited the home of journalist Matt Taibbi while he was testifying about government abuses in Washington. Taibbi testified before Jordan's Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government earlier this month. Jordan described the circumstances of the IRS visit "at the exact time [Taibbi] was testifying to Congress about 'the most serious' government abuse he has witnessed in his career as a journalist" as "incredible." In a letter to Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen and IRS Commissioner Daniel Werfel on Monday, Jordan also suggested the visit was a "thinly-veiled attempt to influence or intimidate a witness before Congress."

Liam Holden was waterboarded and tortured by British army, Belfast high court rules Signs of the Times

In 1973 Liam Holden was convicted of murdering a British soldier in Northern Ireland and became the last person in the United Kingdom to be sentenced to hang. On Friday - half a century after the sentence was commuted to life imprisonment, 11 years after the sentence was quashed and a year after Holden died - a high court in Belfast awarded 350,000 to his estate. The court accepted that the army waterboarded and tortured Holden into confessing to shooting Frank Bell, an 18-year-old member of the parachute regiment. The posthumous award included damages for inhumane and degrading treatment, misfeasance in public office and malicious prosecution. Holden died last September, aged 68, after campaigning for decades to clear his name. The damages case was brought against the Ministry of Defence. His son Samuel told BBC radio the family was sad and relieved. "My father is not here to see this finished, to see it done. It was a long, long journey for him, a long road - he went through an...

'Trans Day of Vengeance' WILL go ahead at Supreme Court despite Nashville school trans shooter Audrey Hale killing six CLG News

'Trans Day of Vengeance' WILL go ahead at Supreme Court despite Nashville school trans shooter Audrey Hale killing six --Trans Radical Activist Network to hold demonstration outside Supreme Court | 29 March 2023 | An activist group is due to hold a "Trans Day of Vengeance" demonstration outside the Supreme Court on Saturday, warning against "astronomical amounts of hate from the world" and following the horrifying Nashville shooting which left seven dead on Monday. The Trans Radical Activist Network (TRAN) will host the event in Washington, D.C., from 31 March until 2 April, starting Friday and marching on the Supreme Court at 11 a.m. on Saturday. On their website they cite gender-affirming care ban bills and the political climate as motives for the demonstration. But commentators are up in arms over the decision to go ahead with the protest as police say they are investigating the role of Nashville shooter Audrey Hale's gender identity and a sense of "resentment" that may have inspired the attack on the shooter's Christian former school.

The Trump campaign's collusion with Israel Signs of the Times

While US media fixated on Russian interference in the 2016 election, an Israeli secret agent's campaign to influence the outcome went unreported. "Roger, hello from Jerusalem," read the message from the Israeli secret agent. Dated August 12, 2016, it was addressed to Roger Stone at the time a key player in Donald Trump's presidential election campaign. "Any progress? He is going to be defeated unless we intervene. We have critical intel. The key is in your hands! Back in the US next week." Later, the agent promised, "October Surprise coming!" While the American media and political system fixated on Russian President Vladimir Putin and his armies of cyber warriors, trolls, and bots, what was completely missed in the Russiagate investigation of 2016 was the Israeli connection. No details of it were ever revealed in the heavily redacted Mueller Report. Nor was there any mention of an Israeli plot in the similarly redacted Senate Intelligence Committee Report on collusion charges in...

USA is the central battlefield in the global total war Signs of the Times

Even as the shooting war rages in Ukraine, the main show is in the United States. There can be little doubt that we are at war, except it's not quite like in the movies. This war is unlike any others about which we learned in school where two opposed forces meet in a battlefield and fight it out until one side prevails. That kind of war is happening in Ukraine, but that's only a part of the conflict that's engulfed nearly all the rest of the world. It manifests in different and seemingly unrelated ways, but it is part of the same conflict. Some analysts like to use the phrase "hybrid" or "asymmetrical" to describe it, by which they mean that in addition to shooting, the conflict has information, cultural, economic and financial dimensions. But I think that the war is still bigger than that: it is global and total - perhaps it should be called total global war. The "Trans Day of Vengeance" planned in Washington DC, is only the latest and weirdest part of it. The clash of two systems...

BEST OF THE WEB: The Great Food Reset has begun Signs of the Times

We all lose from the global war on farmers France is in flames. Israel is erupting. America is facing a second January 6. In the Netherlands, however, the political establishment is reeling from an entirely different type of protest one that, perhaps more than any other raging today, threatens to destabilise the global order. The victory of the Farmer-Citizen Movement (BBB) in the recent provincial elections represents an extraordinary result for an anti-establishment party that was formed just over three years ago. But then again, these are not ordinary times. The BBB grew out of the mass demonstrations against the Dutch government's proposal to cut nitrogen emissions by 50% in the country's farming sector by 2030 a target designed to comply with the European Union's emission-reduction rules. While large farming companies have the means to meet these goals by using less nitrogen fertiliser and reducing the number of their livestock smaller, often family-owned farms would...

Eight men, including a Portland-area high school administrator, were arrested and charged in relation to their alleged participation in a sex trafficking sting conducted by local law enforcement. "During the operation, decoys (law enforcement officers) were contacted by men who offered to pay money in exchange for the decoys to perform requested sexual acts," the department stated, going on to describe how the eight suspects allegedly agreed to meet with the supposed trafficking victims, and were subsequently "arrested and charged with the relevant crimes." Suspects Stephen R. Berry, Maximilien Aquitaine, Austin L. Olson, Vincent S. Namauleg, German D. Pascual, Jake R. Walt, and Erik J. Bjorman were all cited and released for...

Newly Released Document Reveals Index of UFO Cases at the Pentagons AARO The Black Vault

The All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO), the Pentagons UFO investigation office, has released a list of UFO / UAP cases under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA). The document, obtained by The Black Vault through a FOIA request filed on 6 December 2022, contains 511 six-digit case serial numbers, representing the cases analyzed, being analyzed, or archived at AARO.

Although the information disclosed in the document is extremely minimal, it paves the way for further FOIA requests by The Black Vault and provides a glimpse into the work done by AARO and its organizational structure. The list does not include crucial details such as dates, times, or locations of the events, nor does it indicate whether the cases remain unidentified.

The number of cases listed in the index reflects close to the number revealed in the 2022 UAP report, indicating that from the 30 August 2022 data cut-off point as indicated in the report, to the 6 December 2022 data cut-off point of the list released under the FOIA, AARO logged one additional case worthy of cataloguing:

AARO, the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office, was established to investigate, analyze, and assess UAP (Unidentified Aerial Phenomena) incidents and reports. The offices primary goal is to determine any potential threats these phenomena may pose to national security,...

Israel's crisis is about who gets to play tyrant: the generals or religious thugs Signs of the Times

In pushing through his 'judicial overhaul', Netanyahu wasn't destroying 'Israeli democracy'. He was richly exploiting the lack of it. Israel edged closer to civil war over the weekend than at any point in its history. By Monday night, in a bid to avert chaos, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu agreed to put a temporary halt to his plans to neuter the Israeli courts. By then, city centres had been brought to a standstill by angry mass protests. The attorney general had declared Netanyahu to be acting illegally. Crowds had besieged the parliament building in Jerusalem. Public institutions were shuttered, including Israel's international airport and its embassies abroad, in a general strike. That was on top of a near-mutiny in recent weeks from elite military groups, such as combat pilots and reservists. The crisis culminated with Netanyahu sacking his defence minister on Sunday evening after Yoav Gallant warned that the legislation was tearing apart the military and threatening...

Germany to massively increase military aid to Ukraine - Spiegel Signs of the Times

Heavy losses of equipment in battle mean that Ukraine's military needs more tanks, artillery and air defenses, as well as maintenance for them, according to a letter from the German treasury to the parliament revealed by Der Spiegel on Tuesday. Finance Minister Christian Lindner wrote to the Bundestag on Monday, and the parliamentary budget committee met on Tuesday in secret to consider his request, according to the German outlet. He is asking for 3.2 billion ($3.47 billion) more this year and another 8.8 billion ($9.54 billion) for "ongoing commitments," on top of 2.2 billion ($2.39 billion) already spent on Ukraine. "Due to the high material losses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, new supplies of material are required," the treasury wrote, further arguing that a number of procurement and maintenance contracts for "needs-based sustainable equipment" of Kiev's military need to be concluded immediately. The letter specifically says the Ukrainians need more air defense, armored...

Moscow warns neighbor of threat from Ukraine Signs of the Times

Belarusian "nationalist units" fighting for Ukraine could be sent back to their own country to conduct acts of sabotage, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin has warned. The official, however, expressed confidence that Minsk will be able to thwart such attempts, adding that Moscow will assist in doing so if necessary. The diplomat noted that the rhetoric coming from members of "Belarusian nationalist formations... who are actively supported by the Kiev authorities and their Western backers, has become significantly tougher" lately. "The leaders and commanders of those cut-throat mercenaries openly say that they plan, in the future, to apply their combat experience to topple the current Belarusian leadership," Galuzin said in an interview with the Russian news network RTVI on Wednesday.

FBI File: Bob Lazars United Nuclear The Black Vault

In November of 2018, The Black Vault began pursuing records relating to the company United Nuclear, owned by Bob Lazar of flying saucers at Area 51 fame. Whether his story behind seeing alien craft within Area 51 is true or not, his company United Nuclear does have an FBI file.

According to United Nuclears website:

The purpose of United Nuclear Scientific (United Nuclear Scientific Supplies, LLC) is to once again make scientific equipment & supplies available to everyone. Currently, both private and public schools (as well as other learning institutions) have removed chemicals & glassware from their chemistry labs and electronic components from their engineering classes along with many other important pieces of hands-on learning equipment. In addition, laboratory equipment, chemicals & supplies which were once widely available, are now difficult to find or no longer for sale. Lab classes that used to offer hands-on experience with actual materials now have students conduct experiments on computer or simply read text instead of actually coming into contact with the equipment & materials they are learning about. Most professors & teachers we have spoken with completely disagree with this concept. It is our intention make these and other interesting/scientific related items once again available to the hobbyist, teacher and home experimenter, as well as professional and Government organizations.

The motivation behind the request was the discussion of a raid in 2017 of United Nuclear, which was revealed on Jeremy Corbells documentary Bob Lazar: Area 51 & Flying Saucers. However, in the files of United Nuclear, the FBI denies that within the FBI files on United Nuclear are records pertaining to the 2017 raid. According to local police records received about the incident, the FBI is referenced, so theoretically, there should be.
